Abstract:It is explicitly shown how the Lie algebras can be associated with the analytic Moufang loops. The resulting Lie algebra commutation relations are well known from the theory of alternative algebras and can be seen as a preliminary step to quantum Moufang loops.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce two kinds of Lie conformal algebras, associated with the loop Schrödinger–Virasoro Lie algebra and the extended loop Schrödinger–Virasoro Lie algebra, respectively. The conformal derivations, the second cohomology groups of these two conformal algebras are completely determined. And nontrivial free conformal modules of rank one and [Formula: see text]-graded free intermediate series modules over these two conformal algebras are also classified in the present paper.

Abstract:We classify Moufang loops of order 64 and 81 up to isomorphism, using a linear algebraic approach to central loop extensions. In addition to the 267 groups of order 64, there are 4262 nonassociative Moufang loops of order 64. In addition to the $15$ groups of order $81$, there are $5$ nonassociative Moufang loops of order $81$, $2$ of which are commutative.
The microlensing events in Q2237+0305A: No case against small masses/large sources

Abstract:It is demonstrated that the 1988-90 microlensing events in image A of Q2237+0305 reported by Racine (1992) do not exclude microlensing models with very low average mass, making the source radius larger than the projected Einstein radius $\eta_0$ (Refsdal and Stabell 1991, 1993). This is contrary to what has been claimed by Witt and Mao (1994). Since these events are the best resolved microlensing events recorded in Q2237+0305, further work should not exclude the possibility of a large source when interpreting lightcurve data.

Twisting theory, relative Rota-Baxter type operators and $L_\infty$-algebras on Lie conformal algebras

Abstract:Based on Nijenhuis-Richardson bracket and bidegree on the cohomology complex for a Lie conformal algebra, we develop a twisting theory of Lie conformal algebras. By using derived bracket constructions, we construct $L_\infty$-algebras from (quasi-)twilled Lie conformal algebras. And we show that the result of the twisting by a $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-module homomorphism on a (quasi-)twilled Lie conformal algebra is also a (quasi-)twilled Lie conformal algebra if and only if the $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-module homomorphism is a Maurer-Cartan element of the $L_\infty$-algebra. In particular, we show that relative Rota-Baxter type operators on Lie conformal algebras are Maurer-Cartan elements. Besides, we propose a new algebraic structure, called NS-Lie conformal algebras, that is closely related to twisted relative Rota-Baxter operators and Nijenhuis operators on Lie conformal algebras. As an application of twisting theory, we give the cohomology of twisted relative Rota-Baxter operators and study their deformations.

Abstract:We use the Hecke algebras of affine symmetric groups and their associated Schur algebras to construct a new algebra through a basis, and a set of generators and explicit multiplication formulas of basis elements by generators. We prove that this algebra is isomorphic to the quantum enveloping algebra of the loop algebra of $\mathfrak {gl}_n$. Though this construction is motivated by the work \cite{BLM} by Beilinson--Lusztig--MacPherson for quantum $\frak{gl}_n$, our approach is purely algebraic and combinatorial, independent of the geometric method which seems to work only for quantum $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ and quantum affine $\mathfrak{sl}_n$. As an application, we discover a presentation of the Ringel--Hall algebra of a cyclic quiver by semisimple generators and their multiplications by the defining basis elements.

Algebraic structures in Lagrangian Floer cohomology modelled on differential forms

Abstract:We define a structure of an algebra on the Lagrangian Floer cohomology of a Lagrangian submanifold over the quantum cohomology of the ambient symplectic manifold. The structure is analogous to the one defined by Biran-Cornea, but is constructed in the differential forms model. In the spirit of Ganatra and Hugtenburg, we define another such algebra structure using a closed-open map. We show that the two structures coincide. As an application, we show that the module structure for the 2-dimensional Clifford torus is given by multiplication by a Novikov coefficient, similarly to the Biran-Cornea module structure for this case.

Abstract:Let $\fg$ be an affine Kac-Moody algebra, and $\mu$ a diagram automorphism of $\fg$. In this paper, we give an explicit realization for the universal central extension $\wh\fg[\mu]$ of the twisted loop algebra of $\fg$ related to $\mu$, which provides a Moody-Rao-Yokonuma presentation for the algebra $\wh\fg[\mu]$ when $\mu$ is non-transitive, and the presentation is indeed related to the quantization of toroidal Lie algebras.

Abstract:Suppose H is a cocommutative Hopf algebra and P is the operad Ass, or Lie. For any left H-module V, we construct a graded Lie algebra (LP(V)=⨁n∈ZLPn(V),[,]), and prove that φ∈LP1 satisfies [φ,φ]=0 if and only if it determines a pseudoalgebra structure on V over the operad P, and LP(V) is a differential graded Lie algebra with a differentiation determined by the structure map φ of the H-pseudoalgebra V. Moreover, we construct a Lie algebra by using symmetric Schouten product for any pseudoalgebra V over the operad Lie.

Abstract:Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be the derived subalgebra of a Kac-Moody Lie algebra of finite type or affine type, $\mu$ a diagram automorphism of $\mathfrak{g}$ and $L(\mathfrak{g},\mu)$ the loop algebra of $\mathfrak{g}$ associated to $\mu$. In this paper, by using the vertex algebra technique, we provide a general construction of current type presentations for the universal central extension $\widehat{\mathfrak{g}}[\mu]$ of $L(\mathfrak{g},\mu)$. The construction contains the classical limit of Drinfeld's new realization for (twisted and untwisted) quantum affine algebras ([Dr]) and the Moody-Rao-Yokonuma presentation for toroidal Lie algebras ([MRY]) as special examples. As an application, when $\mathfrak{g}$ is of simply-laced type, we prove that the classical limit of the $\mu$-twisted quantum affinization of the quantum Kac-Moody algebra associated to $\mathfrak{g}$ introduced in [CJKT1] is the universal enveloping algebra of $\widehat{\mathfrak{g}}[\mu]$.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of omni-Lie superalgebras as a super version of an omni-Lie algebra introduced by Weinstein. This algebraic structure gives a nontrivial example of Leibniz superalgebras and Lie 2-superalgebras. We prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between Dirac structures of the omni-Lie superalgebra and Lie superalgebra structures on a subspace of a super vector space.

Abstract:We study representations of hemistrict Lie 2-algebras and give a functorial construction of their cohomology. We prove that both the cohomology of an injective hemistrict Lie 2-algebra $L$ and the cohomology of the semistrict Lie 2-algebra obtained from skew-symmetrization of $L$ are isomorphic to the Chevalley-Eilenberg cohomology of the induced Lie algebra $L_{\operatorname{Lie}}$.

Abstract:Quantum mechanics of Hamiltonian (non-dissipative) systems uses Lie algebra and analytic group (Lie group). In order to describe non-Hamiltonian (dissipative) systems in quantum theory we need to use non-Lie algebra and analytic quasigroup (loop). The author derives that analog of Lie algebra for quantum non-Hamiltonian systems is commutant Lie algebra and analog of Lie group for these systems is analytic commutant associative loop (Valya loop). A commutant Lie algebra is an algebra such that commutant (a subspace which is generated by all commutators) is a Lie subalgebra. Valya loop is a non-associative loop such that the commutant of this loop is associative subloop (group). We prove that a tangent algebra of Valya loop is a commutant Lie algebra. It is shown that generalized Heisenberg-Weyl algebra, suggested by the author to describe quantum non-Hamiltonian (dissipative) systems, is a commutant Lie algebra. As the other example of commutant Lie algebra, it is considered a generalized Poisson algebra for differential 1-forms. Note that non-Hamiltonian (dissipative) quantum theory has a broad range of application for non-critical strings in "coupling constant" phase space and bosonic string in non-Riemannian (for example, affine-metric) curved space which are non-Hamiltonian (dissipative) systems.
