Abstract:The authors consider the problem of conformally deforming a metric such that the k-curvature defined by an elementary symmetric function of the eigenvalues of the Bakry-Emery Ricci tensor on a compact manifold with boundary to a prescribed function. A consequence of our main result is that there exists a complete metric such that the Monge-Ampère type equation with respect to its Bakry-Emery Ricci tensor is solvable, provided that the initial Bakry-Emery Ricci tensor belongs to a negative convex cone.

Abstract:In this article we first show that any finite cover of the moduli space of closed Riemann surfaces of genus $g$ with $g\geq 2$ does not admit any Riemannian metric $ds^2$ of nonnegative scalar curvature such that $ds^2 \succ ds_{T}^2$ where $ds_{T}^2$ is the Teichm\"uller metric. Our second result is the proof that any cover $M$ of the moduli space $\mathbb{M}_{g}$ of a closed Riemann surface $S_{g}$ does not admit any complete Riemannian metric of uniformly positive scalar curvature in the quasi-isometry class of the Teichm\"uller metric, which implies a conjecture of Farb-Weinberger.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the geometry of the moduli space of curves by using the curvature properties of direct image sheaves of vector bundles. We show that the moduli space $(M_g, \omega_{WP})$ of curves with genus $g>1$ has dual-Nakano negative and semi-Nakano-negative curvature, and in particular, it has non-positive Riemannain curvature operator and also non-positive complex sectional curvature. As applications, we prove that any submanifold in $M_g$ which is totally geodesic in $A_g$ with finite volume must be a ball quotient. We also show that, on a Kodaira (deformation) surface, there is no K\"ahler metric with non-positive Riemannain sectional curvature although it possesses K\"ahler metrics with strictly negative holomorphic bisectional curvature.

Abstract:Modern Physics Letters A, Ahead of Print. The aim of this paper is to obtain magnetic trajectories corresponding to contact magnetic fields in Lorentzian [math]-Sasakian 3-manifolds. First, we provide the definitions of the magnetic field and the Lorentzian equation used in this paper and derive the expression for the Bott connection by using the Levi-Civita connection. Then we derive the expression of Killing vector fields by using the Killing equation. At the same time, we obtain the explicit formulas for the Killing magnetic curves related to Bott connection. In addition, we provide an example for each type of Killing magnetic curve.

Abstract:The aim of this study is to rearrange magnetic curves and their main properties with the help of multiplicative calculi. In the study, the advantages of purely multiplicative operations and multiplicative calculation are used. Moreover, it unveils the distinctions (angle, norm, distance, line vb.) between the multiplicative Euclidean space and the conventional Euclidean space, offering a novel perspective on geometrically magnetic curves. As a result, the concept of multiplicative magnetic curves (t−magnetic, n−magnetic and b−magnetic) are introduced to the academic discourse, and the essential characterizations are established. The study also provides illustrative examples to facilitate a better is understood of the subject matter and employs Geogebra to generate visual representations of new concepts.

Abstract:To a Riemannian manifold ${(M, g)}$ endowed with a magnetic form ${\sigma}$ and its Lorentz operator ${\Omega}$ we associate an operator ${M^{\Omega}}$, called the magnetic curvature operator. Such an operator encloses the classical Riemannian curvature of the metric ${g}$ together with terms of perturbation due to the magnetic interaction of ${\sigma}$. From ${M^{\Omega}}$ we derive the magnetic sectional curvature ${\mathrm{Sec}^{\Omega}}$ and the magnetic Ricci curvature ${\mathrm{Ric}^{\Omega}}$. On closed manifolds, with a Bonnet-Myers argument, we show that if ${\mathrm{Ric}^{\Omega}}$ is positive on an energy level below the critical value then, on that energy level, the magnetic dynamics carries a contractible periodic orbit. In particular, when ${\sigma}$ is nowhere vanishing, this implies the existence of contractible periodic orbits on every energy level close to zero. Finally, on closed oriented even dimensional manifolds, we discuss about the topological restrictions which appear when one requires ${\mathrm{Sec}^{\Omega}}$ to be positive.

Abstract:In this study, we show that there is an $\alpha$-Sasakian structure on product manifold $M_{1}\times \beta (I)$ where $M_{1}$ is a Kaehlerian manifold that has exact 1-form and $\beta (I)$ is an open curve. After then, we define a new type warped product metric to study the warped product of almost Hermitian manifolds with almost contact metric manifolds.

Abstract:This paper deals with the question of prescribing the Gaussian curvature on a disk and the geodesic curvature of its boundary by means of a conformal deformation of the metric. We restrict ourselves to a symmetric setting in which the Gaussian curvature is negative, and we are able to give general existence results. Our approach is variational, and solutions will be searched as critical points of an associated functional. The proofs use a perturbation argument via the monotonicity trick of Struwe, together with a blow-up analysis and Morse index estimates. We also give a nonexistence result that shows that, to some extent, the assumptions required for existence are necessary.

Abstract:Recently, there are a great deal of work done which connects the Legendrian isotopic problem with contact invariants. The isotopic problem of Legendre curve in a contact 3-manifold was studied via the Legendrian curve shortening flow which was introduced and studied by K. Smoczyk. On the other hand, in the SYZ Conjecture, one can model a special Lagrangian singularity locally as the special Lagrangian cones in . This can be characterized by its link which is a minimal Legendrian surface in the 5-sphere. Then in these points of view, we will focus on the existence of the long-time solution and asymptotic convergnce along the Legendrian mean curvature flow in the -dimensional -Einstein Sasakian manifolds under the suitable stability condition due to the Thomas-Yau conjecture.

In this paper, we investigate their magnetic flows on the unit sphere subbundle of the bundle of the contact distribution over this geodesic sphere, and show that they are smoothly conjugate to each other.

Abstract:The Theorem of Bonnet--Myers implies that manifolds with topology $M^{n-1} \times \mathbb{S}^1$ do not admit a metric of positive Ricci curvature, while the resolution of Geroch's conjecture implies that the torus $\mathbb{T}^n$ does not admit a metric of positive scalar curvature. In this work we introduce a new notion of curvature interpolating between Ricci and scalar curvature (so called $m$-intermediate curvature), and use stable weighted slicings to show that for $n \leq 7$ the manifolds $N^n = M^{n-m} \times \mathbb{T}^m$ do not admit a metric of positive $m$-intermediate curvature.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the notion of the semi-symmetric metric connection in the Heisenberg group. Moreover, by using the method of Riemannian approximations, we define the notions of intrinsic curvature for regular curves, the intrinsic geodesic curvature of regular curves on a surface, and the intrinsic Gaussian curvature of the surface away from characteristic points in the Heisenberg group with the semi-symmetric metric connection. Finally, we derive the expressions of those curvatures and prove the Gauss–Bonnet theorem related to the semi-symmetric metric connection in the Heisenberg group.

This paper employs the fractional derivative to investigate the effect of curves in Lorentz–Minkowski space, which is of crucial significance in geometry and physics. In the method of examining this effect, the conformable fractional derivative is chosen because it best fits the algebraic structure of differential geometry. Therefore, with the aid of conformable fractional derivatives, numerous special curves and the Frenet frame that were previously derived using classical derivatives have been reinterpreted in Lorentz–Minkowski three-space.

Abstract:We describe an algebra of meromorphic functions on the Siegel domain of genus two which contains Siegel modular forms for an arithmetic index six subgroup of the symplectic group, which is closed under three canonical derivations of the Siegel domain. The main ingredients of our study are the moduli of enhanced genus two curves, Gauss-Manin connection and the modular vector fields living on such moduli spaces.

Abstract:Using the notion of magnetic curvature recently introduced by the first author, we extend E. Hopf's theorem to the setting of magnetic systems. Namely, we prove that if the magnetic flow on the s-sphere bundle is without conjugate points, then the total magnetic curvature is non-positive, and vanishes if and only if the magnetic system is magnetically flat. We then prove that magnetic flatness is a rigid condition, in the sense that it only occurs when either the magnetic form is trivial and the metric is flat, or when the magnetic system is Kähler, the metric has constant negative sectional holomorphic curvature, and s equals the Mañé critical value.
