Abstract:We outline a proof of a remarkable conjecture of Labastida-Mari{\~n}o-Ooguri-Vafa about certain new algebraic structures of quantum link invariants and the integrality of infinite family of new topological invariants. Our method is based on the cut-and-join analysis and a special rational ring characterizing the structure of the Chern-Simons partition function.
On some recent developments in Kähler geometry

Abstract:These are related, because the ideas involved in (1) form one of the main foundations for (2). More precisely, the proof of the Yau conjecture relies on an extension of the partial C estimate to metrics with conic singularities. Gang Tian has made claims to credit for these results. The purpose of this document is to rebut these claims on the grounds of originality, priority and correctness of the mathematical arguments. We acknowledge Tian’s many contributions to this field in the past and, partly for this reason, we have avoided raising our objections publicly over the last 15 months, but it seems now that this is the course we have to take in order to document the facts. In addition, this seems to us the responsible action to take and one we owe to our colleagues, especially those affected by these developments.

Abstract:Based on the works of Gursky (CMP, 1997), Vétois (Potential Anal., 2023) and Case (Crelle's journal, 2024), we make use of an Obata type formula established in these works to obtain some Liouville type theorems on conformally Einstein manifolds. In particular, we solve Hang-Yang conjecture (IMRN, 2020) via an Obata-type argument and obtain optimal perturbation.

Abstract:We present a mathematical proof of a conjectural formula due to Aganagic, Dijkgraaf, Klemm, Mariño and Vafa, expressing the topological vertex as a Bogoliubov transform of the fermionic vacuum. In our proof we introduce a boson-fermionic field assignment which generalizes the well-known boson-fermion correspondence. The proof also works for the generalization to the framed topological vertex made by Deng and Zhou. As a consequence, partition functions of toric Calabi-Yau threefolds are related to tau-functions of multi-component KP hierarchy.

On Kato's local epsilon-isomorphism Conjecture for rank one Iwasawa modules

Abstract:This paper contains a complete proof of Fukaya's and Kato's epsilon$-isomorphism conjecture in [23] for invertible \Lambda-modules (the case of V = V_0(r) where V_0 is unramified of dimension 1). Our results rely heavily on Kato's unpublished proof of (commutative) epsilon-isomorphisms for one dimensional representations of G_{Q_p} in [27], but apart from fixing some sign-ambiguities in (loc.\ cit.) we use the theory of (\phi,\Gamma)-modules instead of syntomic cohomology. Also, for the convenience of the reader we give a slight modification or rather reformulation of it in the language of [23] and extend it to the (slightly non-commutative) semi-global setting. Finally we discuss some direct applications concerning the Iwasawa theory of CM elliptic curves, in particular the local Iwasawa Main Conjecture for CM elliptic curves E over the extension of Q_p which trivialises the p-power division points E(p) of E. In this sense the paper is complimentary to the joint work [7] on noncommutative Main Conjectures for CM elliptic curves.

Abstract:We combine two of Igusa's conjectures with recent semi-continuity results by Mustaţă and Popa to form a new, natural conjecture about bounds for exponential sums. These bounds have a deceivingly simple and general formulation in terms of degrees and dimensions only. We provide evidence consisting partly of adaptations of already known results about Igusa's conjecture on exponential sums, but also some new evidence like for all polynomials in up to $4$ variables. We show that, in turn, these bounds imply consequences for Igusa's (strong) monodromy conjecture. The bounds are related to estimates for major arcs appearing in the circle method for local-global principles.

Abstract:A new $Z$-eigenvalue inclusion theorem for tensors is given and proved to be tighter than those in [G. Wang, G.L. Zhou, L. Caccetta, $Z$-eigenvalue inclusion theorems for tensors, Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems Series B,22(1) (2017) 187--198]. Based on this set, a sharper upper bound for the $Z$-spectral radius of weakly symmetric nonnegative tensors is obtained. Finally, numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed bound.
