Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems

Abstract:This paper investigates the existence, uniqueness, and continuous dependence of solutions to fractional order nonlocal thermistor two-point boundary value problems on time scales. We employ the Schauder fixed point theorem to establish the existence of solutions, and the contraction principle to prove uniqueness. We also obtain a result on the continuous dependence of solutions. Finally, we present several examples to illustrate our findings. This work is the first to study a fractional model of thermistor on Department of Medical Research,time scales, and it makes a significant contribution to the field of modeling on time scales. The results of this paper can be used to develop new and improved mathematical models for thermistors, which can be used to design more efficient and reliable thermistor-based devices.

Abstract:It is mentioned that understanding linear and non-linear thermo-elasticity systems is important for understanding temperature, elasticity, stresses, and thermal conductivity. One of the most crucial aspects of the current research is the solution to these systems. The fractional form of several thermo-elastic systems is explored, and elegant solutions are provided. The solutions of fractional and integer thermo-elastic systems are further discussed using tables and diagrams. The closed contact between the LRPSM and exact solutions is displayed in the graphs. Plotting fractional problem solutions demonstrates their convergence towards integer-order problem solutions for suitable modeling. The tables confirm that greater precision is rapidly attained as the terms of the derived series solution increase. The faster convergence and stability of the suggested method support its modification for other fractional non-linear complex systems in nature.

Abstract:The objective of this study is to analyze a quasistatic frictional contact problem involving the interaction between a thermo-viscoelastic body and a thermally conductive foundation. The constitutive relation in our investigation is constructed using a fractional Kelvin–Voigt model to describe displacement behavior. Additionally, the heat conduction aspect is governed by a time-fractional derivative parameter that is associated with temperature. The contact is modeled using the Signorini condition, which is a version of Coulomb's law for dry friction. We develop a variational formulation for the problem and establish the existence of its weak solution using a combination of techniques, including the theory of monotone operators, Caputo derivative, Galerkin method, and the Banach fixed point theorem. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach, we include several numerical simulations that showcase the performance of the method.

Abstract:Recently, the authors Khalil, R., Al Horani, M., Yousef. A. and Sababheh, M., in " A new Denition Of Fractional Derivative, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 264. pp. 6570, 2014. " introduced a new simple well-behaved definition of the fractional derivative called conformable fractional derivative. In this article we proceed on to develop the definitions there and set the basic concepts in this new simple interesting fractional calculus. The fractional versions of chain rule, exponential functions, Gronwall's inequality, integration by parts, Taylor power series expansions, Laplace transforms and linear differential systems are proposed and discussed.

Abstract:In this work, we are interested in a fractional diffusion equation with a conformable derivative that contains the time dependent coefficients which occurs in many application models. By using some given assumptions, we consider the global solution to the problem. Moreover, the convergence of the mild solution when fractional order tends to 1? is presented. This research can be considered as one of the first results on the topic related to conformable problem with time-dependent coefficients. In the simple case of coefficient, we show the global regularity for the mild solution in Lp space. The main techniques of this work are to use Banach fixed point theorem, Lp ? Lq heat semigroup and some complex evaluations and techniques.

Abstract:Invariant conditions for conformable fractional problems of the calculus of variations under the presence of external forces in the dynamics are studied. Depending on the type of transformations considered, different necessary conditions of invariance are obtained. As particular cases, we prove fractional versions of Noether's symmetry theorem. Invariant conditions for fractional optimal control problems, using the Hamiltonian formalism, are also investigated. As an example of potential application in Physics, we show that with conformable derivatives it is possible to formulate an Action Principle for particles under frictional forces that is far simpler than the one obtained with classical fractional derivatives.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of nonlocal impulsive differential equation with conformable fractional derivative is studied. By utilizing the theory of operators semigroup and fractional derivative, a new concept on a solution for our problem is introduced. We used some fixed point theorems such as Banach contraction mapping principle, Schauder’s fixed point theorem, Schaefer’s fixed point theorem, and Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem, and we derive many existence and uniqueness results concerning the solution for impulsive nonlocal Cauchy problems. Abstract:Based on the theory of fractional thermoelastic diffusion, a two dimensional problem for thermoelastic half space is considered. The upper surface of the half space is taken to be traction free and subjected to ramp type heating. Integral transform technique and a direct approach method are used to obtain the solution in the transformed domain. Numerical inversion techniques are used to obtain the inverse double transforms. The effect of Tempered-Caputo fractional derivative is studied. Numerical results are discussed and represented graphically.

Abstract:This paper presents the numerical solution of the heat conduction model with a fractional derivative of the Riemann–Liouville type with respect to the spatial variable. The considered mathematical model assumes the dependence on temperature of the material parameters (such as specific heat, density, and thermal conductivity) of the model. In the paper, the boundary conditions of the first and second types are considered. If the heat flux equal to zero is assumed on the left boundary, then the thermal symmetry is obtained, which results in a simplification of the problem and the possibility of considering only half the area. The numerical examples presented in the paper illustrate the effectiveness and convergence of the discussed computational method.

Abstract:We study the heat conduction with a general form of a constitutive equation containing fractional derivatives of real and complex order. Using the entropy inequality in a weak form, we derive sufficient conditions on the coefficients of a constitutive equation that guarantee that the second law of thermodynamics is satisfied. This equation, in special cases, reduces to known ones. Moreover, we present a solution of a temperature distribution problem in a semi-infinite rod with the proposed constitutive equation.

Abstract:Abstract In this article, we take a time–space fractional convection-diffusion problem with a nonlinear reaction term on a finite domain. We use the L1 operator to discretize the Caputo fractional derivative and the weighted shifted Grünwald difference (WSGD) method to approximate the Riesz fractional derivative. Furthermore, we apply the Crank Nicolson difference scheme with weighted shifted Grünwald–Letnikov and obtain that the numerical method is unconditionally stable and convergent with the accuracy of O(τ2−α+h2), where α∈(0,1]. For finding the numerical solution of the nonlinear system of equation, we apply the fixed iteration method. In the end, numerical simulations are treated to verify the effectiveness and consistency of the proposed method.

Abstract:This paper investigates the existence of positive solutions for an iterative system of nonlinear two‐point tempered fractional boundary value problem. Utilizing Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem in a cone, we establish criteria for the existence of positive solutions. The proofs involve transforming the problem into an equivalent Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. We further explore solution uniqueness using Rus's theorem and examine Hyers–Ulam stability, particularly for the case when only a single fractional differential equation is considered, (m = 1). Our study represents a significant departure from previous works by including Riemann–Liouville tempered fractional derivative operators and an iterative equation. This research sheds light on the diverse applications of iterative functional differential equations, extending beyond noniterative counterparts. Throughout the paper, presumptive conditions are applied, and the results are validated through illustrative examples.

Abstract:Mathematical modeling of fractional resonant Schrödinger equations is an extremely significant topic in the classical of quantum mechanics, chromodynamics, astronomy, and anomalous diffusion systems. Based on conformable residual power series, a novel effective analytical approach is considered to solve classes of nonlinear time-fractional resonant Schrödinger equation and nonlinear coupled fractional Schrödinger equations under conformable fractional derivatives. The solution methodology lies in generating an infinite conformable series solution with reliable wave pattern by minimizing the residual error functions. The main motivation for using this approach is high accuracy convergence and low computational cost compared to other existing methods. In this orientation, the competency and capacity of the proposed method are examined by implementing several numerical applications. From a numerical viewpoint, the obtained results indicate that the method is intelligent and has several features in feasibility, stability, and suitability for dealing with many fractional models emerging in physics and optics using the new conformable derivative.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to study a generalized Riemann–Liouville fractional differential equation and system with nonlocal boundary conditions. Firstly, some properties of the Green function are presented and then Lyapunov-type inequalities for a sequential ψ -Riemann–Liouville fractional boundary value problem are established. Also, the existence and uniqueness of solutions are proved by using Banach and Schauder fixed-point theorems. Furthermore, the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a sequential nonlinear differential system is established by means of Schauder's and Perov's fixed-point theorems. Examples are given to validate the theoretical results.

Abstract:In this article, we focus on examining the existence, uniqueness, and continuous dependence of solutions on initial data for a specific initial boundary value problem which mainly arises from one-dimensional quasi-static contact problems in nonlinear thermo-elasticity. This problem concerns a fractional nonlinear singular integro-differential equation of order θ∈[0,1]. The primary methodology involves the application of a fixed point theorem coupled with certain a priori bounds. The feasibility of solving this problem is established under the context of data related to a weighted Sobolev space. Furthermore, an additional result related to the regularity of the solution for the formulated problem is also presented.

Abstract:Theoretical and numerical studies of fractional conformable stochastic integrodifferential equations are introduced in this study. Herein, to emphasize the solution's existence, we provide proof based on Picard iterations and Arzela−Ascoli's theorem, whilst the proof of the uniqueness mainly depends on the famous Gronwall's inequality. Also, we introduce the basic concepts related to shifted Legendre orthogonal polynomials which are utilized to be the basic functions of the spectral collocation algorithm to obtain approximate solutions for the mentioned equations that are not easy to be solved analytically. The substantial idea of the proposed algorithm is to transform such equations into a system containing a finite number of algebraic equations that can be treated using familiar numerical methods. For computational aims, we make a suitable discretization to evaluate the values of the Brownian motion, the noise term considered in our problem, at specific points. In addition, the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm are proved through convergence analysis and mathematical examples. To exhibit the mathematical simulation, graphs and tables are lucidly shown. Obviously, the physical interpretation of the displayed graphics accurately describes the behavior of the solutions. Despite the simplicity of the presented technique, it produces accurate and reasonable results as notarized in the conclusion section.
