Abstract:In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions to the Fu-Yau equation on compact Kähler manifolds. As an application, we give a class of non-trivial solutions of the modified Strominger system.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the Fu-Yau equation on compact Hermitian manifolds and prove the existence of solutions of equation on astheno-Kähler manifolds. We also prove the uniqueness of solutions of Fu-Yau equation when the slope parameter $\alpha$ is negative.

Abstract:We consider the problem of conformally deforming a metric by a fully nonlinear flow on a compact manifold with totally geodesic boundary. We prove that the k-curvature defined by the modified Schouten tensor always can be deformed in a natural way to a constant at exponential rate and the boundary preserves totally geodesic.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove that a sequence of weak almost Kahler-Ricci solitons under further suitable conditions converges to a Kahler-Ricci soliton with complex codimension of singularities at least 2 in the Gromov-Hausdorff topology. As a corollary, we show that on a Fano manifold with the modified K-energy bounded below, there exists a sequence of weak almost Kahler-Ricci solitons which converges to a Kahler-Ricci soliton with complex codimension of singularities at least 2 in the Gromov-Hausdorff topology.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the solitons to the fully nonlinear type Yamabe flows. We prove that any k-Yamabe soliton with positive k-curvature must have constant σk-curvature on closed locally conformally flat manifolds. We also prove that any quotient Yamabe soliton with positive k and l curvatures must have constantσkσl-curvature on closed locally conformally flat manifolds. Similar results are also proved on compact locally conformally flat manifolds with totally geodesic boundary.

Abstract:We prove several formulas related to Hodge theory and the Kodaira–Spencer–Kuranishi deformation theory of Kähler manifolds. As applications, we present a construction of globally convergent power series of integrable Beltrami differentials on Calabi–Yau manifolds and also a construction of global canonical family of holomorphic (n,0) -forms on the deformation spaces of Calabi–Yau manifolds. Similar constructions are also applied to the deformation spaces of compact Kähler manifolds.

Abstract:We find a new obstruction to the existence of solutions of the Hull-Strominger system, which goes beyond the balanced property of the Calabi-Yau manifold $(X,\Omega)$ and the Mumford-Takemoto slope stability of the bundle over it. The basic principle is the construction of a (possibly indefinite) Hermitian-Einstein metric on the holomorphic string algebroid associated to a solution of the system, provided that the connection $\nabla$ on the tangent bundle is Hermitian-Yang Mills. Using this, we define a family of Futaki invariants obstructing the existence of solutions in a given balanced class. Our results are motivated by a strong version of a conjecture by Yau on the existence problem for these equations.

Abstract:We show the non-compactness of moduli space of solutions of the monopole equations for $3/2$-spinors on a closed 3-manifold is equivalent to the existence of `3/2-Fueter sections' that are solutions of an overdetermined non-linear elliptic differential equation. These are sections of a fiber bundle whose fiber is a special 4-dimensional submanifold of the hyperkähler manifold of center-framed charged one $SU(2)$-instantons on $\mathbf{R}^4$. This fiber bundle does not inherit a hyperkähler structure.

Abstract:We prove the existence of Kahler-Einstein metric on a K-stable Fano manifold using the recent compactness result on Kahler-Ricci flows. The key ingredient is an algebro-geometric description of the asymptotic behavior of Kahler-Ricci flow on Fano manifolds. This is in turn based on a general finite dimensional discussion, which is interesting in its own and could potentially apply to other problems. As one application, we relate the asymptotics of the Calabi flow on a polarized Kahler manifold to K-stability assuming bounds on geometry.

Abstract:We introduce a new flow to the LYZ equation on a compact Kahler manifold. We first show the existence of the longtime solution of the flow. We then show that under the Collins-Jacob-Yau's condition on the subsolution, the longtime solution converges to the solution of the LYZ equation, which was solved by CollinsJacob-Yau [5] by the continuity method. Moreover, as an application of the flow, we show that on a compact Kahler surface, if there exists a semi-subsolution of the LYZ equation, then our flow converges smoothly to a singular solution to the LYZ equation away from a finite number of curves of negative self-intersection. Such a solution can be viewed as a boundary point of the moduli space of the LYZ solutions for a given Kahler metric.
Higher dimensional moduli spaces on Kuznetsov components of Fano threefolds

Abstract:We study moduli spaces of stable objects in the Kuznetsov components of Fano threefolds. We prove a general non-emptiness criterion for moduli spaces, which applies to the cases of prime Fano threefolds of index $1$, degree $10 \leq d \leq 18$, and index $2$, degree $d \leq 4$. In the second part, we focus on cubic threefolds. We show the irreducibility of the moduli spaces, and that the general fibers of the Abel--Jacobi maps from the moduli spaces to the intermediate Jacobian are Fano varieties. When the dimension is sufficiently large, we further show that the general fibers of the Abel--Jacobi maps are stably birational equivalent to each other. As an application of our methods, we prove Conjecture A.1 in [FGLZ24] concerning the existence of Lagrangian subvarieties in moduli spaces of stable objects in the Kuznetsov components of very general cubic fourfolds.

Abstract:Motivated from mathematical aspects of the superstring theory, we introduce a new equation on a balanced, hermitian manifold, with zero first Chern class. Solving the equation, one will obtain, in each Bott--Chern cohomology class, a balanced metric which is hermitian Ricci--flat. This can be viewed as a differential form level generalization of the classical Calabi--Yau equation. We establish the existence and uniqueness of the equation on complex tori, and prove certain uniqueness and openness on a general K\"ahler manifold.

Abstract:We construct approximate solutions to the Einstein-Maxwell theory with uplifting the four dimensional Fubini-Study Kahler manifold. We find the solutions can be expressed as the integrals of two special functions. The solutions are regular almost everywhere except a bolt structure on a single point in any dimensionality. We also show that in the context of considered ansatzes for the metric function and the Maxwell field, the solutions are unique and can not be non-trivially extended to include the cosmological constant in any dimensions.

Abstract:We construct the tangential k-Cauchy–Fueter complexes on the right quaternionic Heisenberg group, as the quaternionic counterpart of $$\overline{\partial }_b$$-complex on the Heisenberg group in the theory of several complex variables. We can use the $$L^2$$ estimate to solve the nonhomogeneous tangential k-Cauchy–Fueter equation under the compatibility condition over this group modulo a lattice. This solution has an important vanishing property when the group is higher dimensional. It allows us to prove the Hartogs’ extension phenomenon for k-CF functions, which are the quaternionic counterpart of CR functions.
On Vafa-Witten equations over Kaehler manifolds

Abstract:In this paper, we study the analytic properties of solutions to the Vafa-Witten equation over a compact Kaehler manifold. Simple obstructions to the existence of nontrivial solutions are identified. The gauge theoretical compactness for the $\mathbb{C}^*$ invariant locus of the moduli space is shown to behave similarly as the Hermitian-Yang-Mills connections. More generally, this holds for solutions with uniformly bounded spectral covers such as nilpotent solutions. When spectral covers are unbounded, we manage to take limits of the renormalized Higgs fields which are intrinsically characterized by the convergence of the associated spectral covers. This gives a simpler proof for Taubes' results on rank two solutions over Kaehler surfaces together with a new complex geometric interpretation. The moduli space of $SU(2)$ monopoles and some related examples are also discussed in the final section.
