Abstract:In the realm of renewable energy and energy storage capacitors, the primary evaluation criterion is centered on the reduction of energy loss and the maximization of energy storage density. These two crucial performance indicators are intimately associated with the dielectric conductivity and breakdown strength, both of which are meticulously regulated by the charge transfer mechanism and the dynamic behavior of the molecular chain. To scrutinize the influence of micro-parameters on the performance of energy storage materials, a conductivity-breakdown-energy storage comprehensive simulation model for aromatic-free polymer materials was developed. The good consistency between simulation results and experimental data strongly confirms the reliability of the model. When simulating the breakdown performance of the materials, the error between simulation results and experimental data is less than 3 %. In addition, by simulating the conductivities and D - E loops at different temperatures, it was found that the low electron affinity materials have low current and high energy storage performance. At 150 °C, it still has a discharged energy density of 9.18 J/cm 3 and an energy storage efficiency of 76.45 %. This study not only reveals the importance of molecular structure in enhancing energy storage, but also points out the key role of molecular chain displacement and charge transport in understanding the breakdown of energy storage performance at high temperatures. This article provides a theoretical basis for the design and development of high-temperature energy storage aromatic-free polymer for the renewable energy system.
