Abstract:In this paper, in the line of Aytar\cite{Ay2} and Çolak \cite{Co}, we introduce the notion of rough statistical convergence of order $\alpha$ in normed linear spaces and study some properties of the set of all rough statistical limit points of order $\alpha$.

Abstract:This study?s main goal is to define approximate statistical convergence in spaces with probabilistic norms. The idea of convergence in random 2-normed space is more generalized as a result of our demonstrations of some fundamental features and examples of convergence in linear spaces with norms. More specifically, we demonstrate the findings for sets of statistical limit points and sets of cluster points of approximate statistically convergent sequences in these spaces. Additionally, we extend the idea of rough convergence by applying the idea of ideals, which automatically expands the original ideas of rough statistical convergence and rough convergence. We define the collection of rough ideal limit points and demonstrate a number of outcomes related to this collection.

Abstract:In this paper, using the concept of natural density, we have introduced the notion of rough statistical convergence which is an extension of the notion of rough convergence in a partial metric space. We have defined the set of rough statistical limit points of a sequence in a partial metric space and proved that this set is closed and bounded. Finally, we have found out the relationship between the set of statistical cluster points and the set of rough statistical limit points of sequences in a partial metric space.

Abstract:In the present paper, we set forth with the new notion of rough -deferred statistical convergence of order in gradual normed linear spaces (GNLS). We prove some fundamental features and implication relations of this convergence method. Also, we put forward the notion of gradual rough -deferred statistical limit set of order and prove some of its properties such as closedness and convexity. We prove that the gradual rough -deferred statistical limit set also plays a crucial role in the gradually -deferred statistical boundedness of order of a sequence in a GNLS. We end up proving a necessary and sufficient condition for the rough -deferred statistical convergence of order of a sequence in GNLS. Significance of the work in a broad context: Summability theory and convergence of sequences have many applications in mathematical analysis. The study of the convergence of sequences in GNLS has made little progress and is still in its early stages. In this paper, we introduce rough deferred statistical convergence of sequences in GNLS which provides a new direction to the researchers.

Abstract:In this study, we first give the definition of ρ-statistical convergence of order (α,β) for sequences of fuzzy numbers. We also define the strongly w(ρ,F,q)-summable of order (α,β) and the strongly w(ρ,F,q,f)-summable of order (α,β), defined by a modulus function f for sequences of fuzzy numbers. Later we give some coverage theorems between these sets and the set S_α^β (ρ,F).

Abstract:Mlaiki et al.\cite{MLA} introduced the idea of controlled metric type spaces, which is a new extension of $b$-metric spaces with addition of a controlled function $\alpha(x,y)$ of the right-hand side of the $b$-triangle inequality. Phu \cite{PHU} introduced the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a normed linear space. In this paper we have brought the idea of rough convergence of sequences in a controlled metric type space. We have proved several results associated with rough limit sets and some relevant results associated with such convergence.

Abstract:The idea of rough statistical convergence for double sequences was studied by Ozcan and Or[29] in a intuitionistic fuzzy normed space. Recently the same has been generalized in the ideal context by Hossain and Banerjee[15] for sequences. Here in this paper we have discussed the idea of rough ideal convergence of double sequences in intuitionistic fuzzy normed spaces generalizing the idea of rough statistical convergence of double sequences. Also we have defined rough I2-cluster points for a double sequence and also investigated some of the basic properties associated with rough I2-limit set of a double sequence in a intuitionistic fuzzy normed space.

Abstract:The statistically unbounded $p$-convergence is an abstraction of the statistical order, unbounded order, and $p$-convergences. We investigate the concept of the statistically unbounded convergence on lattice-normed Riesz spaces with respect to statistical p-decreasing sequences. Also, we get some relations between this concept and the other kinds of statistical convergences on Riesz spaces.

Abstract:The current article broadly environs the introduction of rough deferred statistical convergence via difference operators as an extension of rough convergence, in the setting of L -fuzzy normed space. The paper also discusses the inevitable limit set of the novel convergence along with the proof of it being convex and closed with regard to the L -fuzzy norm. There is a further establishment of Δ r j -deferred statistical cluster point and investigation of relations between the set of cluster points and the aforementioned convergence limit set.

Abstract:In this note, we improve the convergence rates of spectral distributions that large-dimensional sample covariance matrices of size p×n tend to the Marenko-Pastur distribution, under the assumption that the entries have a finite eighth moment. Especially, we show that the expected spectral distributions of large-dimensional sample covariance matrices of size p×n tends to the limiting distribution with the dimension sample size ratio y=y_n=p/n at the rate of O(n~ -1/6 ) if y is close to 1 . Similar results for both the convergence in probability and the almost sure convergence are shown to be O_p(n~ -1/6 ) and O_ a.s. (n~ -1/6 ), under the condition that y is close to 1.

Abstract:We introduce a new version of characterized subgroups of the circle group $$\mathbb{T}$$ that we call "$$\alpha$$-statistically characterized subgroups", in line of the very recent work [11], using the notion of statistical convergence of order $$\alpha$$ [4]. We show that for any arithmetic sequence $$(a_n)$$ and $$\alpha \in (0, 1)$$, the $$\alpha$$-statistically characterized subgroups $$t^\alpha_{(a_n)}(\mathbb{T}) $$ is again a Borel subgroup having cardinality $$\mathfrak{c}$$ lying between the characterized and statistically characterized subgroups.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce and investigate a concept of Abel statistical continuity. A real valued function $f$ is Abel statistically continuous on a subset $E$ of $\R$, the set of real numbers, if it preserves Abel statistical convergent sequences, i.e. $(f(p_{k}))$ is Abel statistically convergent whenever $(p_{k})$ is an Abel statistical convergent sequence of points in $E$, where a sequence $(p_{k})$ of point in $\R$ is called Abel statistically convergent to a real number $L$ if Abel density of the set $\{k\in{\N}: |p_{k}-L|\geq\varepsilon \}$ is $0$ for every $\varepsilon>0$. Some other types of continuities are also studied and interesting results are obtained.

Abstract:A sequence $(x_n)$ in a lattice-normed space $(X,p,E)$ is statistical $p$-convergent to $x\in X$ if there exists a statistical $p$-decreasing sequence $q\stpd 0$ with an index set $K$ such that $\delta(K)=1$ and $p(x_{n_k}-x)\leq q_{n_k}$ for every $n_k\in K$. This convergence has been investigated recently for $(X,p,E)=(E,|\cdot|,E)$ under the name of statistical order convergence and under the name of statistical multiplicative order convergence, and also, for taking $E$ as a locally solid Riesz space under the names statistically unbounded $\tau$-convergence and statistically multiplicative convergence. In this paper, we study the general properties of statistical $p$-convergence.

Abstract:In the present work, we introduce and study the notion of statistical probability convergence for sequences of random variables as well as the concept of statistical convergence for sequences of real numbers, which are defined over a Banach space via deferred weighted summability mean. We first establish a theorem presenting a connection between them. Based upon our proposed methods, we then prove a new Korovkin-type approximation theorem with periodic test functions for a sequence of random variables on a Banach space and demonstrate that our theorem effectively extends and improves most (if not all) of the previously existing results (in statistical versions). We also estimate the rate of deferred weighted statistical probability convergence and accordingly establish a new result. Finally, an illustrative example is presented here by means of the generalized Fej?r convolution operators of a sequence of random variables in order to demonstrate that our established theorem is stronger than its traditional and statistical versions.

Abstract:Random monotone operators are stochastic versions of maximal monotone operators which play an important role in stochastic nonsmooth optimization. Several stochastic nonsmooth optimization algorithms have been shown to converge to a zero of a mean operator defined as the expectation, in the sense of the Aumann integral, of a random monotone operator. In this note, we prove a strong law of large numbers for random monotone operators where the limit is the mean operator. We apply this result to the empirical risk minimization problem appearing in machine learning. We show that if the empirical risk minimizers converge as the number of data points goes to infinity, then they converge to an expected risk minimizer.
