Abstract:In this paper, the logarithmically complete monotonicity property for a functions involving $q$-gamma function is investigated for $q\in(0,1).$ As applications of this results, some new inequalities for the $q$-gamma function are established. Furthermore, let the sequence $r_n$ be defined by $$n!=\sqrt{2\pi n}(n/e)^n e^{r_n}.$$ We establish new estimates for Stirling's formula remainder $r_n.$

Abstract:In this article, our objective is to define and study a new subclass of analytic functions associated with the q-analogue of the sine function, operating in conjunction with a convolution operator. By manipulating the parameter q, we observe that the image of the unit disc under the q-sine function exhibits a visually appealing resemblance to a figure-eight shape that is symmetric about the real axis. Additionally, we investigate some important geometrical problems like necessary and sufficient conditions, coefficient bounds, Fekete-Szegö inequality, and partial sum results for the functions belonging to this newly defined subclass.

Abstract:We propose a unified approach to $q$-special functions, which are degenerations of basic hypergeometric functions ${}_2\phi_1(a,b;c;q,x)$. We obtain a list of seven different class of $q$-special functions: ${}_2\phi_1, {}_1\phi_1$, two different types of the $q$-Bessel functions, the $q$-Hermite-Weber functions, two different types of the $q$-Airy functions. We show that there exist a relation between two types of the $q$-Airy functions.

Abstract:In the present investigation, our aim is to define a generalized subclass of analytic and bi-univalent functions associated with a certain $q$-integral operator in the open unit disk $\mathbb{U}$. We estimate bounds on the initial Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients $\left \vert a_{2}\right \vert$ and $\left \vert a_{3}\right \vert $ for normalized analytic functions $f$ in the open unit disk by considering the function $f$ and its inverse $g = f^{{-}{1}}$. Furthermore, we derive special consequences of the results presented here, which would apply to several (known or new) subclasses of analytic and bi-univalent functions.

Abstract:In this article, we make use of the q-binomial theorem to introduce and study two new subclasses ℵ(αq,q) and ℵ(α,q) of meromorphic functions in the open unit disk U, that is, analytic functions in the punctured unit disk U∗=U\{0}={z:z∈Cand0<z<1}. We derive inclusion relations and investigate an integral operator that preserves functions which belong to these function classes. In addition, we establish a strict inequality involving a certain linear convolution operator which we introduce in this article. Several special cases and corollaries of our main results are also considered.

Abstract:By making use of the concept of basic (or q-) calculus, various families of q-extensions of starlike functions of order α in the open unit disk U were introduced and studied from many different viewpoints and perspectives. In this paper, we first investigate the relationship between various known classes of q-starlike functions that are associated with the Janowski functions. We then introduce and study a new subclass of q-starlike functions that involves the Janowski functions. We also derive several properties of such families of q-starlike functions with negative coefficients including (for example) distortion theorems.

Abstract:In this study, using the ideas of subordination and the quantum-difference operator, we established a new subclass $ \mathcal{S} ^{\ast }\left(\delta, \sigma, q\right) $ of $ q $-starlike functions and the subclass $ \mathcal{S}_{\Sigma }^{\ast }\left(\delta, \sigma, q\right) $ of $ q $-starlike bi-univalent functions associated with the vertical strip domain. We examined sharp bounds for the first two Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients, sharp Fekete-Szegö type problems, and coefficient inequalities for the function $ h $ that belong to $ \mathcal{S}^{\ast }\left(\delta, \sigma, q\right) $, as well as sharp bounds for the inverse function $ h $ that belong to $ \mathcal{S}^{\ast }\left(\delta, \sigma, q\right) $. We also investigated some results for the class of bi-univalent functions $ \mathcal{S}_{\Sigma }^{\ast }\left(\delta, \sigma, q\right) $ and well-known corollaries were also highlighted to show connections between previous results and the findings of this paper.

Abstract:In the lecture notes we start off with an introduction to the $q$-hypergeometric series, or basic hypergeometric series, and we derive some elementary summation and transformation results. Then the $q$-hypergeometric difference equation is studied, and in particular we study solutions given in terms of power series at $0$ and at $\infty$. Factorisations of the corresponding operator are considered in terms of a lowering operator, which is the $q$-derivative, and the related raising operator. Next we consider the $q$-hypergeometric operator in a special case, and we show that there is a natural Hilbert space --a weighted sequence space-- on which this operator is symmetric. Then the corresponding eigenfunctions are polynomials, which are the little $q$-Jacobi polynomials. These polynomials form a family in the $q$-Askey scheme, and so many important properties are well known. In particular, we show how the orthogonality relations and the three-term recurrence for the little $q$-Jacobi polynomials can be obtained using only the factorisation of the corresponding operator. As a next step we consider the $q$-hypergeometric operator in general, which leads to the little $q$-Jacobi functions. We sketch the derivation of the corresponding orthogonality using the connection between various eigenfunctions. The link between the $q$-hypergeometric operators with different parameters is studied in general using $q$-analogues of fractional derivatives, and this gives transmutation properties for this operator. In the final parts of these notes we consider partial extensions of this approach to orthogonal polynomials and special functions. The first extension is a brief introduction to the Askey-Wilson functions and the corresponding integral transform. The second extension is concerned with a matrix-valued extension of the $q$-hypergeometric difference equation and its solutions.

Abstract:In this article, by using the concept of the quantum (orq-) calculus and a general conic domain Omega(k,q), we study a new subclass of normalized analytic functions with respect to symmetrical points in an open unit disk. We solve the Fekete-Szego type problems for this newly-defined subclass of analytic functions. We also discuss some applications of the main results by using aq-Bernardi integral operator.

Abstract:By applying a fractional q-calculus operator, we define the subclasses S-n(alpha) (lambda, beta, b, q) and G(n)(alpha) (lambda, beta, b, q) of normalized analytic functions with complex order and negative coefficients. Among the results investigated for each of these function classes, we derive their associated coefficient estimates, radii of close-to-convexity, starlikeness and convexity, extreme points, and growth and distortion theorems.
