Abstract:In fuzzy model, the consequent of fuzzy rule is often determined with degrees of belief or credibility because of vague information originating from evidence not strong enough and “lack of specificity” In this paper, we present a fuzzy model incorporated with fuzzy Dempster-Shafer Theory The consequent of fuzzy rule is not fuzzy propositions, but fuzzy Dempster-Shafer granules The salient aspect of the work is that a very simplified analytic output of fuzzy model which is a special case of Sugeno-type fuzzy model is achieved when all fuzzy sets in fuzzy partition of the output space have the same power (the area under the membership function), and the determination of basic probability assignments associated with fuzzy Dempster-Shafer belief structure using fuzzy Naive Bayes The construction method of fuzzy Naive Bayes and an learning strategy generating fuzzy rules from training data are proposed in this paper A well-known example about time series prediction is tested, the prediction results show that our fuzzy modeling is very efficient and has strong expressive power to represent the complex system with uncertain situation.

Abstract:A new fuzzy method is developed using triangular/trapezoidal fuzzy numbers for evaluating a group's mean performance, when qualitative grades instead of numerical scores are used for assessing its members' individual performance. Also, a new technique is developed for solving Linear Programming problems with fuzzy coefficients and everyday life applications are presented to illustrate our results.

Abstract:Fuzzy modeling of multivariable discrete-time nonlinear dynamical systems is approached analytically in this paper. We start by developing a proper framework based on the key notions of fuzzy quantization and function approximation. This framework allows the fuzzy modeling to be justified with mathematical rigor, and the modeling problem be formulated in a way suitable for an analytical solution. Based on the formulation, an online scheme is developed that adaptively forms the fuzzy model from samples of a dynamical system by generating and modifying a set of fuzzy rules and membership functions. The convergence analysis of the scheme is carried out rigorously based on the Lyapunov theory, and the major convergence result is established. The scheme is also applied to a few nonlinear modeling problems to demonstrate its feasibility and effectiveness

Abstract:In this paper, the mathematical model and algorithm based on knowledge forgetting curve are studied. Through the analysis of the current mathematical modeling and application of “knowledge forgetting curve”, the artificial intelligence method of fuzzy mathematics knowledge and differential modeling is adopted. This paper puts forward the mathematical model and algorithm design of the new “knowledge forgetting curve”, which aims to improve the intelligence of the software and bring a new learning experience for the teaching evaluation of the education system in colleges and universities. The fuzzy logic theory is applied to the teaching evaluation system of higher learning pedagogy, according to pedagogy and other related theories, combined with the current teaching evaluation indicators of colleges and universities, the teaching evaluation indicators of higher learning education are set according to certain requirements. The sample wood data is divided into two parts by using the fuzzy logic principle, and the training model is obtained by training the sample data in the evaluation system, and the training model is used to intelligently evaluate and analyze the prediction data.

Abstract:Risk specialists are trying to understand risk better and use complex models for risk assessment, while many risks are not yet well understood. The lack of empirical data and complex causal and outcome relationships make it difficult to estimate the degree to which certain risk types are exposed. Traditional risk models are based on classical set theory. In comparison, fuzzy logic models are built on fuzzy set theory and are useful for analyzing risks with insufficient knowledge or inaccurate data. Fuzzy logic systems help to make large-scale risk management frameworks more simple. For risks that do not have an appropriate probability model, a fuzzy logic system can help model the cause and effect relationships, assess the level of risk exposure, rank key risks in a consistent way, and consider available data and experts'opinions. Besides, in fuzzy logic systems, some rules explicitly explain the connection, dependence, and relationships between model factors. This can help identify risk mitigation solutions. Resources can be used to mitigate risks with very high levels of exposure and relatively low hedging costs. Fuzzy set and fuzzy logic models can be used with Bayesian and other types of method recognition and decision models, including artificial neural networks and decision tree models. These developed models have the potential to solve difficult risk assessment problems. This research paper explores areas in which fuzzy logic models can be used to improve risk assessment and risk decision making. We will discuss the methodology, framework, and process of using fuzzy logic systems in risk assessment.

Abstract:As an extension of the intuitionistic fuzzy set, intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy set is an invaluable mathematical theory to express uncertain phenomenon in our real word. In this article, the aggregation methods of the intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy information are chief researched. Firstly, the generalized aggregation operator is introduced for aggregating intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy information, such as the Generalized Intuitionistic Trapezoidal Fuzzy Weighted Averaging operator (GITFWA). Then, various properties of the proposed aggregation operator are established. Finally, I investigate the evaluation of the teaching quality based on the proposed operator under intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy environment.

Abstract:Adaptive learning is an effective way to improve the learning outcomes, that is, the selection of learning content and presentation should be adapted to each learner's learning context, learning levels and learning ability. Adaptive Learning System (ALS) can provide effective support for adaptive learning. This paper proposes a new ALS based on fuzzy set theory. It can effectively estimate the learner's knowledge level by test according to learner's target. Then take the factors of learner's cognitive ability and preference into consideration to achieve self-organization and push plan of knowledge. This paper focuses on the design and implementation of domain model and user model in ALS. Experiments confirmed that the system providing adaptive content can effectively help learners to memory the content and improve their comprehension.

Abstract:In recent years, adaptive learning systems rely increasingly on learning hierarchy to customize the educational logic developed in their courses. Most approaches do not consider that the relationships of prerequisites between the skills are fuzzy relationships. In this article, we describe a new approach of a practical application of fuzzy logic techniques to the construction of learning hierarchies. For this, we use a learning hierarchy predefined by one or more experts of a specific field. However, the relationships of prerequisites between the skills in the learning hierarchy are not definitive and they are fuzzy relationships. Indeed, we measure relevance degree of all relationships existing in this learning hierarchy and we try to answer to the following question: Is the relationships of prerequisites predefined in initial learning hierarchy are correctly established or not?

In this paper, we present two different fuzzy logic strategies for human operator and sport modeling: fixed fuzzy-logic inference control and adaptive fuzzy-logic control, including neuro-fuzzy-fractal control. As an application of the presented fuzzy strategies, we present a fuzzy-control based tennis simulator.

Abstract:Teaching quality evaluation is a complex non-linear system fitting problem under the influence of many factors. The establishment of teaching quality evaluation is to construct a functional relationship between teaching quality evaluation index and teaching effect. In this paper, the authors analyze the fuzzy mathematics and machine learning algorithms application in educational quality evaluation model. Machine learning method has been well applied in complex problems such as classification, fitting, pattern recognition and so on. It can be used to realize a more comprehensive, reasonable and effective evaluation of the classroom teaching quality of university teachers. The simulation results show that the model can well express the complex relationship between the teaching quality evaluation index and the evaluation results. The theoretical values of the evaluation results are in the corresponding confidence interval, which proves that the machine learning algorithm has good reliability for different teaching quality evaluation problems.

Abstract:A risk assessment model of classified protection based on fuzzy evaluation is put forward to objectively represent fuzziness and uncertainty in the information system risk assessment.Firstly,according to classified protection,the hierarchical evaluation system is proposed to normalize the selection of risk factors.Secondly,considering that the comment from experts might be uncertain or incomplete,the fuzzy comment set is defined so that the assessment model can deal with more complex situation.Moreover,the fuzzy evaluation method based on evidence theory is introduced to reduce the uncertainty and quantify the result of the assessment.Finally,a case study is given and the result shows that the model is effective and is widely used.

Abstract:In this study, trapezoidal-type inequalities in fuzzy settings have been investigated. The theory of fuzzy analysis has been discussed in detail. The integration by parts formula of analysis of fuzzy mathematics has been employed to establish an equality. Trapezoidal-type inequality for functions with values in the fuzzy number-valued space is proven by applying the proven equality together with the properties of a metric defined on the set of fuzzy number-valued space and Höler's inequality. The results proved in this research provide generalizations of the results from earlier existing results in the field of mathematical inequalities. An example is designed by defining a function that has values in fuzzy number-valued space and validated the results numerically using the software Mathematica (latest v. 14.1). The p-levels of the defined fuzzy number-valued mapping have been shown graphically for different values of p∈0,1.

Abstract:The article is devoted to assessing the efficiency of using triangular and trapezoidal membership functions in fuzzy systems. Two metrics are proposed: execution time of the fuzzy inference algorithm, dispersion of the output value. The results of experiments on testing three fuzzy systems of different architecture complexity are presented: determining the size of a tip for a waiter; forecasting changes in energy consumption in the production system; driver assistance on the roads.

Abstract:Accurate assessment of system reliability with limited or insufficient statistical data is difficult. This paper presents a method which overcomes the drawbacks of traditional fault tree analysis (FTA) by using FTA based on possibilistic measures and fuzzy logic. This method is designed specifically for situations wherein reliability and safety assessment is imprecise by nature and necessary statistical data is scarce. Based on fundamentals of fuzzy logic, failure possibility is first defined and then fuzzy variables are characterized in the context of possibility theory. Next, subevents in FTA described with natural language are viewed as a collection of elastic constraints of fuzzy variables. Fuzzy rules are generated from linguistic quantification and meaning inference in fuzzy logic. Lastly, an example is used to illustrate the proposed analytical method and reasoning mechanism. Unlike previously reported fuzzy FTA or fuzzy logic-based FTA, this method is an integration of the possibilistic approach and the fuzzy logic-based reasoning approach which is of potential value for creating expert knowledge databases. It can also be applied to other aspects of reliability engineering, addressing ambiguous and subjective uncertainty problems qualitatively and quantitatively.

Abstract:Aiming at the problems of low prediction accuracy and low efficiency in processing large-scale data in cognitive diagnosis models for programming topics, a student education assessment model based on programming cognitive diagnosis was studied. The P-FuzzyCDF evaluation model was formed by combining fuzzy set theory with educational assumptions to model students' mastery of the problem, and taking into account the impact of plagiarism factors on student evaluation. This model is used in experiments on experimental data sets. The results show that the model can quantitatively and interpretably complete the educational evaluation of students and has good predictive performance. In the evaluation of data structure courses, the P-FuzzyCDF model of this study Compared with the DINA model, the effects on MAE, MSE and RMSE are improved by 26.0%, 25.6% and 34.6% respectively. Using the ability diagnosis of knowledge points can effectively evaluate students' deficiencies in the process of knowledge mastery, and provide better explanatory capabilities for their learning effects.
