Abstract:The paper is divided in 2 parts. The first part is the original paper of the second and third authors <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1202.5442v2" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1202.5442v2">arXiv:1202.5442v2</a>. The second part is an erratum/addendum written in english and concatenated at the end of the former paper. In the erratum/addentum, we amend Theorems 1.3 and 1.11 of <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1202.5442v2" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1202.5442v2">arXiv:1202.5442v2</a>: Finitude géométrique en géométrie de Hilbert. We seize the opportunity to show that in round Hilbert geometry, geometrical finiteness (gf) is equivalent to cusp-uniform action and to fill some small gaps that appear in two other proofs of <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1202.5442v2" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1202.5442v2">arXiv:1202.5442v2</a>.

Abstract:We present an addendum/erratum to the paper "Weyl Groups and Birational Transformations among Minimal Models" written by the author and published in 1995, adding the analysis of the "88-th" deformation type of a smooth Fano 3-fold with $B_2 = 4$ denoted as $n^o\ 13$, which was missing from the original classification table by Mori-Mukai and added later to the list of smooth Fano 3-folds with $B_2 \geq 2$, while correcting the mistake pointed out by Eric Jovinelly (also noticed earlier by Kento Fujita). We also correct other typos and miscalculations, clarifying some points of ambiguity. The original paper is an attempt to generalize the result of Y. Manin associating some Weyl groups to Del Pezzo surfaces to the one associating certain Weyl groups to Fano 3-folds.

Abstract:We study the real Monge-Ampère equation in two and three dimensions, bothfrom the point of view of the SYZ conjecture, where solutions give rise tosemi-flat Calabi-Yau's and in affine differential geometry, where solutionsyield parabolic affine sphere hypersurfaces. We find explicit examples, connectthe holomorphic function representation to Hitchin's description of specialLagrangian moduli space, and construct the developing map explicitly for asingularity corresponding to the type I_n elliptic fiber (afterhyper-Kähler rotation). Following Baues and Cortés, we show that varioustypes of metric cones over two-dimensional elliptic affine spheres generatesolutions of the Monge-Ampère equation in three dimensions. We then prove alocal and global existence theorem for an elliptic affine two-sphere metricwith prescribed singularities. The metric cone over the two-sphere minus threepoints yields a parabolic affine sphere with singularities along a "Y"-shapedlocus. This gives a semi-flat Calabi-Yau metric in a neighborhood of the "Y"vertex. In the erratum, we correct a gap in the solution of the elliptic affinesphere equation (with the small caveat that a parameter in the equation, thecubic differential, must be smaller than we assumed before). The new proofstill allows us to construct semi-flat Calabi-Yau metrics in a neighborhood ofthe "Y" vertex by appealing to the result of Baues-Cortés. We also give analternate construction of such semi-flat Calabi-Yau metrics by using a resulton hyperbolic affine spheres due to the first author.
Corrections to a paper of Allard and Almgren on the uniqueness of tangent cones

Abstract:The paper referred to in the title is Allard/Almgren 1981 [AA81]. Several months ago Francesco Maggi emailed me saying that the inequalities 5.3(4),(5) of \cite{AA81} were wrong. In fact, as he pointed out, their incorrectness is immediately apparent if one takes $Z=0$ there. Maggi and his coauthor wanted to use these inequalities in their paper \cite{MN}. They were able to obtain a version of these inequalities which suffice for the carrying out the work in \cite{MN}. I started writing this paper in order to provide a version of these inequalities as needed in [AA81]. In thinking about this material I began to realize there were other problems with the paper. As a result I ended up {\em completely rewriting 5.1-5.4 on pages 243-248 of \cite{AA81}}; this rewrite is the contents of this paper. In addition to many annoying misprints many of the needed definitions and proofs in 5.1-5.4 are incomplete or absent. For example, it is not said where $z$ in 5.1(2) comes from; this omission completely surprised me since I remember doing a lot of work to come up with $z$ when \cite{AA81} was being written. Also, much of the necessary material about the reach of a submanifold as in \cite{FE2} is not provided in \cite{AA81}. The table of contents can serve as an index. In particular one sees there where the constants $\epsilon_1$ through $\epsilon_6$ are introduced. This material is extremely technical. One way to navigate this paper would be to start looking at Proposition 9.5 and work backwards.

Abstract:This note corrects a mistake in the original book in the evolution equations of total curvature for the curve-shrinking flow in an ambient Ricci Flow. The resulting upper bound for the evolution of total curvature is an exponential bound in time. The change involves the multiplicative constant. Here we show that it depends on the initial total curvature and the initial length, rather than just on the initial total curvature as was asserted before. This change does not affect the application of these results to prove finite-time extinction when the third homotopy group of the manifold is non-trivial.

Abstract:This is an erratum to the article: "Computation of maximal projection constants" (J. Funct. Anal., 277). The statement of Lemma 3.1(2) of that paper is incorrect. As a consequence of this the proof of Theorem 1.4 is incomplete. In this erratum we prove a corrected version of Lemma 3.1 and explain why, with this weaker result, our original strategy for proving Theorem 1.4 no longer works. The other results of the article, in particular the alternative proof of Grünbaum's conjecture, do not depend on Lemma 3.1 and are thus not affected by this error.
