Abstract:We outline a proof of a remarkable conjecture of Labastida-Mari{\~n}o-Ooguri-Vafa about certain new algebraic structures of quantum link invariants and the integrality of infinite family of new topological invariants. Our method is based on the cut-and-join analysis and a special rational ring characterizing the structure of the Chern-Simons partition function.

Abstract:Dumortier and Roussarie proposed a conjecture in their paper (2009, Discrete Con. Dyn. Sys., 2,723-781): For any \begin{document}$ q\in {\mathbb{N}} $\end{document} , the Abelian integrals \begin{document}$ J_{2j+1}(h) = \int_{\gamma_h}x^{2j-1}\,\mathrm dy $\end{document} , \begin{document}$ j = 0, 1, 2, \cdots, q $\end{document} , form a strict Chebyshev system on intervals \begin{document}$ h\in (0, \frac{1}{2}] $\end{document} , where \begin{document}$ \gamma_h = \{(x, y)| \mathrm e^{-2y}(y+\frac{1}{2}-x^2) = h\} $\end{document} . If this conjecture holds, then they obtain the precise upper bound of the number of limit cycles that appear near a slow-fast Hopf point of any codimension. In the present paper we develop a method to estimate the number of zeros of Abelian integrals and prove this conjecture.

Abstract:In this short note, we provide an alternative proof of a notable theorem by Narasimhan and Ramanan. The theorem states that the moduli space of $S$-equivalence classes of semistable rank $2$ vector bundles over a curve $X$ of genus $2$ with trivial determinant is isomorphic to $\mathbb{P}^3$. Our proof relies on a criterion by Bauer and Szemberg, which characterizes projective spaces among smooth Fano varieties using Seshadri constants.

Abstract:Let $p$ be an odd prime. We give an unconditional proof of the equivariant Iwasawa main conjecture for totally real fields for every admissible one-dimensional $p$-adic Lie extension whose Galois group has an abelian Sylow $p$-subgroup. Crucially, this result does not depend on the vanishing of any $\mu$-invariant. As applications, we deduce the Coates-Sinnott conjecture away from its $2$-primary part and new cases of the equivariant Tamagawa number conjecture for Tate motives.

Abstract:The celebrated Itô-Michler theorem asserts that a prime $p$ does not divide the degree of any irreducible character of a finite group $G$ if and only if $G$ has a normal and abelian Sylow $p$-subgroup. The principal block case of the recently-proven Brauer's height zero conjecture isolates the abelian part in the Itô-Michler theorem. In this paper, we show that the normal part can also be isolated in a similar way. This is a consequence of work on a strong form of the so-called Brauer's height zero conjecture for two primes of Malle and Navarro. Using our techniques, we also provide an alternate proof of this conjecture.

Abstract:It is well known that the strong subadditivity theorem is hold for classical system, but it is very difficult to prove that it is hold for quantum system. The first proof of this theorem is due to Lieb by using the Lieb's theorem. Here we use the conditions obtained in our previous work of matrix analysis method to give a new proof of this famous theorem. This new proof is very elementary, it only needs to carefully analyse the minimal value of a function. This proof also shows that the conditions obtained in our previous work are stronger than the strong subadditivity theorem.

Abstract:In this paper we prove a conjecture of Kudla and Rallis. Let $\chi$ be a unitary character, $s\in \mathbb{C}$ and $W$ a symplectic vector space over a non-archimedean field with symmetry group $G(W)$. Denote by $I(\chi,s)$ the degenerate principal series representation of $G(W\oplus W)$. Pulling back $I(\chi,s)$ along the natural embedding $G(W)\times G(W)\hookrightarrow G(W\oplus W)$ gives a representation $I_{W,W}(\chi,s)$ of $G(W)\times G(W)$. Let $\pi$ be an irreducible smooth complex representation of $G(W)$. We then prove \[\dim _\mathbb{C}\mathrm{Hom}_{G(W)\times G(W)}(I_{W,W}(\chi,s),\pi\otimes \pi^\lor)=1.\] We also give analogous statements for $W$ orthogonal or unitary. This gives in particular a new proof of the conservation relation of the local Theta correspondence for symplectic-orthogonal and unitary dual pairs.

Abstract:We develop the theory and algorithms necessary to be able to verify the strong Birch--Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture for absolutely simple modular abelian varieties over $\mathbf{Q}$. We apply our methods to all 28 Atkin--Lehner quotients of $X_0(N)$ of genus $2$, all 97 genus $2$ curves from the LMFDB whose Jacobian is of this type and six further curves originally found by Wang. We are able to verify the strong BSD Conjecture unconditionally and exactly in all these cases; this is the first time that strong BSD has been confirmed for absolutely simple abelian varieties of dimension at least $2$. We also give an example where we verify that the order of the Tate--Shafarevich group is $7^2$ and agrees with the order predicted by the BSD Conjecture.
