Abstract:In a recent paper [9], Ozdemir, Tunc and Akdemir defined two new classes of convex functions with which they proved some Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities. As an Open problem, they asked for conditions under which the composition of two functions belong to their newly defined class of convex functions and if Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities can be obtained. In this paper, we respond to the Open problems and prove some new Hermite-Hadamard inequalities for twice differentiable composition whose second derivative is $((h-s)_{2}, I)$-convex. Our results are applied to some special means of real numbers.
On new types of convex functions and their properties

Abstract:In this study, Firstly, we will write two new convex functions for $-1<n-\alpha \leq 1\ $and two new lemmas. Then we will find the relevance of the two new lemmas to Caputo-left-sided derivatives under additional conditions and draw conclusions about them. Secondly,We will give examples that support it. In what follows, we will rewrite the Hermite Hadamard integral inequality based on this new definitions. Furthermore, we will write an elementary inequality valid for value $-1<n-\alpha \leq 1.$

Abstract:Abstract In this manuscript, we introduce and study the concept of exponential trigonometric convex functions and their some algebraic properties. We obtain Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities for the newly introduced class of functions. We also obtain some refinements of the Hermite-Hadamard inequality for functions whose first derivative in absolute value, raised to a certain power which is greater than one, respectively at least one, is exponential trigonometric convex function. It has been shown that the result obtained with Hölder-İşcan and improved power-mean integral inequalities give better approximations than that obtained with Hölder and improved power-mean integral inequalities.

Abstract:We use a new function class called B -function to establish a novel version of Hermite–Hadamard inequality for weighted ψ -Hilfer operators. Additionally, we prove two new identities involving weighted ψ -Hilfer operators for differentiable functions. Moreover, by employing these equalities and the properties of the B -function, we derive several trapezoid- and midpoint-type inequalities for h -convex functions. Furthermore, the obtained results are reduced to several well-known and some new inequalities by making specific choices of the function h .

Abstract:In this paper, we establish new generalizations of the Hermite-Hadamard-type inequalities. These inequalities are formulated in terms of modules of certain powers of proper functions. Generalizations for convex functions are also considered. As applications, some new inequalities for the digamma function in terms of the trigamma function and some inequalities involving special means of real numbers are given. The results also include estimates via arithmetic, geometric and logarithmic means. The examples are derived in order to demonstrate that some of our results in this paper are more exact than the existing ones and some improve several known results available in the literature. The constants in the derived inequalities are calculated; some of these constants are sharp. As a visual example, graphs of some technically important functions are included in the text.
Convexity and concavity of a class of functions related to the elliptic functions

Abstract:We investigate the convexity property on $(0,1)$ of the function $$f_a(x)=\frac{{\cal K}{(\sqrt x)}}{a-(1/2)\log(1-x)}.$$ We show that $f_a$ is strictly convex on $(0,1)$ if and only if $a\geq a_c$ and $1/f_a$ is strictly convex on $(0,1)$ if and only if $a\leq\log 4$, where $a_c$ is some critical value. The second main result of the paper is to study the log-convexity and log-concavity of the function $$h_p(x)=(1-x)^p{\cal K}(\sqrt x).$$ We prove that $h_p$ is strictly log-concave on $(0,1)$ if and only if $p\geq 7/32$ and strictly log-convex if and only if $p\leq 0$. This solves some problems posed by Yang and Tian and complete their result and a result of Alzer and Richards that $f_a$ is strictly concave on $(0,1)$ if and only if $a=4/3$ and $1/f_a$ is strictly concave on $(0,1)$ if and only if $a\geq 8/5$. As applications of the convexity and concavity, we establish among other inequalities, that for $a\geq a_c$ and all $r\in(0,1)$ $$\frac{2\pi\sqrt\pi}{(2a+\log 2)\Gamma(3/4)^2}\leq \frac{{\cal K}(\sqrt r)}{a-\frac12\log (r)}+\frac{{\cal K}(\sqrt{1-r})}{a-\frac12\log (1-r)}<1+\frac\pi{2a},$$ and for $p\geq 3(2+\sqrt 2)/8$ and all $r\in(0,1)$ $$\sqrt{(r-r^2)^p{\cal K}(\sqrt{1-r}){\cal K}(\sqrt r)}< \frac{\pi\sqrt\pi}{2^{p+1}\Gamma(3/4)^2}<\frac{r^p{\cal K}(\sqrt{1-r})+(1-r)^p{\cal K}(\sqrt r)}{2}.$$

Abstract:Convexity plays a crucial role in the development of fractional integral inequalities. Many fractional integral inequalities are derived based on convexity properties and techniques. These inequalities have several applications in different fields such as optimization, mathematical modeling and signal processing. The main goal of this article is to establish a novel and generalized identity for the Caputo–Fabrizio fractional operator. With the help of this specific developed identity, we derive new fractional integral inequalities via exponential convex functions. Furthermore, we give an application to some special means.

Abstract:This paper focuses on introducing and examining the class of generalized strongly n -polynomial convex functions. Relationships between these functions and other types of convex functions are explored. The Hermite–Hadamard inequality is established for generalized strongly n -polynomial convex functions. Additionally, new integral inequalities of Hermite–Hadamard type are derived for this class of functions using the Hölder–İşcan integral inequality. The results obtained in this paper are compared with those known in the literature, demonstrating the superiority of the new results. Finally, some applications for special means are provided.

Abstract:In this paper, we construct a new class of convex functions, so-called generalized n-polynomial p-convex functions. We investigate their algebraic properties and provide some relationships between these functions and other types of convex functions. We establish Hermite–Hadamard (H–H) inequality for the newly defined class of functions. Additionally, we derive refinements of H–H inequality for functions whose first derivatives in absolute value at certain power are generalized n-polynomial p-convex. When p=−1, our definition evolves into a new definition for the class of convex functions so-called generalized n-polynomial harmonically convex functions. The results obtained in this study generalize regarding those found in the existing literature. By extending these particular types of inequalities, the objective is to unveil fresh mathematical perspectives, attributes and connections that can enhance the evolution of more resilient mathematical methodologies. This study aids in the progression of mathematical instruments across diverse scientific fields.

Abstract:There is a strong correlation between the concept of convexity and symmetry. One of these is the class of interval-valued cr-log-h-convex functions, which is closely related to the theory of symmetry. In this paper, we obtain Hermite–Hadamard and its weighted version inequalities that are related to interval-valued cr-log-h-convex functions, and some known results are recaptured. To support our main results, we offer three examples and two applications related to modified Bessel functions and special means as well.

Abstract:We establish conditions for the discrete versions of logarithmic concavity and convexity of the higher order regularized basic hypergeometric function with respect simultaneous shift of all its parameters. For a particular case of Heine's basic hypergeometric function we prove logarithmic concavity and convexity with respect to the bottom parameter. We further establish a linearization identity for the generalized Turánian formed by a particular case of Heine's basic hypergeometric function. Its $q=1$ case also appears to be new.

Abstract:In this study, some new Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities for co-ordinated convex functions were obtained with the help of conformable fractional integrals. We have presented some remarks to give the relation between our results and earlier obtained results. Moreover, an identity for partial differentiable functions has been established. By using this equality and concept of co-ordinated convexity, we have proven a trapezoid type inequality for conformable fractional integrals.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate a novel class of Hermite-Hadamard inequalities applicable to functions with h -convex absolute derivatives. Graphical representations are provided to bolster the validity of our key findings. Some limiting results of our main findings are discussed as corollaries. Furthermore, we establish error estimates in terms of trapezoid formulae for differences between generalized means.

Abstract:The goal of this study is to develop numerous Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer (H–H–M)-type inequalities involving various fractional integral operators, including classical, Riemann–Liouville (R.L), k-Riemann–Liouville (k-R.L), and their generalized fractional integral operators. In addition, we establish a number of corresponding fractional integral inequalities for three-times differentiable convex functions that are connected to the right side of the H–H–M-type inequality. For these results, further remarks and observations are provided. Following that, a couple of graphical representations are shown to highlight the key findings of our study. Finally, some applications on special means are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of our inequalities.
