Abstract:In this paper, we establish new generalizations of the Hermite-Hadamard-type inequalities. These inequalities are formulated in terms of modules of certain powers of proper functions. Generalizations for convex functions are also considered. As applications, some new inequalities for the digamma function in terms of the trigamma function and some inequalities involving special means of real numbers are given. The results also include estimates via arithmetic, geometric and logarithmic means. The examples are derived in order to demonstrate that some of our results in this paper are more exact than the existing ones and some improve several known results available in the literature. The constants in the derived inequalities are calculated; some of these constants are sharp. As a visual example, graphs of some technically important functions are included in the text.

Abstract:We consider variational inequality problems for set-valued vector fields on general Riemannian manifolds. The existence results of the solution, convexity of the solution set, and the convergence property of the proximal point algorithm for the variational inequality problems for set-valued mappings on Riemannian manifolds are established. Applications to convex optimization problems on Riemannian manifolds are provided.

Abstract:A family of algorithms for solving convex feasibility problems on Hadamard manifolds is studied. Some convergence results and linear convergence results are established, which extend the corresponding ones from Hilbert spaces to Hadamrd manifolds. Abstract:In this article, we define a new preinvex mapping known as the exponentially ( h , m ) -preinvex. We explore the properties of this mapping, and derive several Φ k -Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals inequalities through exponentially ( h , m ) -preinvexity. Using these results, we present certain estimates for Hermite–Hadamard-type inequalities, and also deduce several inequalities for the fractional integrals of k-Riemann–Liouville, which are special cases of the main results. During this period, we give several numerical examples to further demonstrate the correctness of our main results. As applications, we propose a few inequalities according to special means.

Abstract:In this paper we establish a class of Hardy inequalities related to the gen- eralized Baouendi-Grushin vector fields from another view. Our technique is based on an extension of an elementary integral inequality in the Euclidean space by the generalized di- vergence theorem, and then the choice of suitable vector fields. The best constant is also discussed. Our results contain the well known Hardy inequalities for the class of vector fields. As immediate consequences, we discuss some properties for p-degenerate subelliptic opera- tor and characterize a positive solutions of the nonlinear operator constructed by generalized Baouendi-Grnshin vector fields.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to introduce a new type of two-dimensional convexity by using total-order relations. In the first part of this paper, we examine the Hyers–Ulam stability of two-dimensional convex mappings by using the sandwich theorem. Our next step involves the development of Hermite–Hadamard inequality, including its weighted and product forms, by using a novel type of fractional operator having non-singular kernels. Moreover, we develop several nontrivial examples and remarks to demonstrate the validity of our main results. Finally, we examine approximate convex mappings and have left an open problem regarding the best optimal constants for two-dimensional approximate convexity.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of generalized vector variational inequalities and complementarity problems for multivalued mappings. We prove the existence of solutions for this kind of vector variational inequality and discuss the relations between the solutions of the generalized vector variational inequalities and the solutions of generalized vector complementarity problems in Hausdorff topological vector spaces. Our results extend and improve some results in this field.

Abstract:The goal of this study is to develop numerous Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer (H–H–M)-type inequalities involving various fractional integral operators, including classical, Riemann–Liouville (R.L), k-Riemann–Liouville (k-R.L), and their generalized fractional integral operators. In addition, we establish a number of corresponding fractional integral inequalities for three-times differentiable convex functions that are connected to the right side of the H–H–M-type inequality. For these results, further remarks and observations are provided. Following that, a couple of graphical representations are shown to highlight the key findings of our study. Finally, some applications on special means are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of our inequalities.

Abstract:This paper introduces new versions of Hermite–Hadamard, midpoint- and trapezoid-type inequalities involving fractional integral operators with exponential kernels. We explore these inequalities for differentiable convex functions and demonstrate their connections with classical integrals. This paper validates the derived inequalities through a numerical example with graphical representations and provides some practical applications, highlighting their relevance to special means. This study presents novel results, offering new insights into classical integrals as the fractional order β approaches 1, in addition to the fractional integrals we examined.

Mapped Hermite Functions and their applications to two-dimensional weakly singular Fredholm-Hammerstein integral equations

Abstract:The Fredholm-Hammerstein integral equations (FHIEs) with weakly singular kernels exhibit multi-point singularity at the endpoints or boundaries. The dense discretized matrices result in high computational complexity when employing numerical methods. To address this, we propose a novel class of mapped Hermite functions, which are constructed by applying a mapping to Hermite <a class="link-external link-http" href="http://polynomials.We" rel="external noopener nofollow">this http URL</a> establish fundamental approximation theory for the orthogonal functions. We propose MHFs-spectral collocation method and MHFs-smoothing transformation method to solve the two-point weakly singular FHIEs, respectively. Error analysis and numerical results demonstrate that our methods, based on the new orthogonal functions, are particularly effective for handling problems with weak singularities at two endpoints, yielding exponential convergence rate. We position this work as the first to directly study the mapped spectral method for multi-point singularity problems, to the best of our knowledge.
