Abstract:We determine the group of algebra automorphisms for the two-parameter quantized enveloping algebra $\V$. As an application, we prove that the group of Hopf algebra automorphisms for $\V$ is isomorphic to a torus of rank two.

Abstract:In this paper, we study homological properties of twisted tensor products of connected graded algebras. We focus first on the Ext-algebras of twisted tensor products with a certain form of twisting maps. We show those Ext-algebras are also twisted tensor products, and describe the twisting maps for such Ext-algebras explicitly. With those preparations, we describe Nakayama automorphisms of twisted tensor products of noetherian Artin–Schelter regular algebras.

Abstract:Let H be a Hopf algebra over a base field. If H has an ℕ-filtration such that the associated graded ring is connected graded noetherian and has enough normal elements, then H is Gorenstein. This gives a partial solution to a question of Brown and Brown-Goodearl. As a consequence, every quotient Hopf algebra of a generic quantized coordinate ring of a connected semisimple Lie group is Auslander-Gorenstein and Cohen-Macaulay. The last statement answers a question of Goodearl-Zhang.

Abstract:Suppose that H is a Hopf algebra, and 𝔤 is a generalized Kac-Moody algebra with Cartan matrix A = ( a ij ) I × I , where I is an index set and is equal to either 1, 2,..., n or the natural number set ℕ. Let f , g be two mappings from I to G ( H ), the set of group-like elements of H , such that the multiplication of elements in the set f ( i ), g ( i )| i ∈, I is commutative. Then we define a Hopf algebra H ⊗ g f U q ( 𝔤 ), where U q ( 𝔤 ) is the quantized enveloping algebra of 𝔤 .

Abstract:The theory of weak Hopf algebras is a development of the theory of Hopf algebras, which is important in the theory of quantum groups and the related theory of mathematical physics. In this paper, we give a survey of this theory and its applications.Firstly, we review some concepts related to weak Hopf algebras and their relationship and moreover, some algebraical structures. Secondly, we collect the generalizations of quantum double, i.e. quantum quasi-double and quantum G-double, constructed from some certain weak Hopf algebras so as to obtain a class of singular solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation (QYBE). Their properties are also introduced in this part. Thirdly, as the important examples of weak Hopf algebras, some weaken quantized enveloping algebra are given which are associated with some generalizations of Lie algebra, such as generalized Kac-Moody algebra, Borcherds superalgebras. Moreover, their algebraic structures are discussed such that one can understand them clearly. Finally, some generalized notions of tensor category are introduced including pre-tensor category and weak tensor category and their braidings. They can be realized respectively from the categories of representations of the related classes of weak Hopf algebras and their quantum quasi-doubles. As the categorical version of a (singular) solutions of the QYBE, a general Yang-Baxter operator is studied. In summary, we list the diagrams of relations among these kinds of categories.

Abstract:Generalization of Hopf algebraslq (2) by weakening the invertibility of the generatorK, i.e., exchanging its invertibilityKK −1=1 to the regularity K$\bar K$K=K is studied. Two weak Hopf algebras are introduced: a weak Hopf algebrawslq (2) and aJ-weak Hopf algebravslq (2) which are investigated in detail. The monoids of group-like elements ofwslq (2) andvslq (2) are regular monoids, which supports the general conjucture on the connection betweek weak Hopf algebras and regular monoids. A quasi-braided weak Hopf algebraŪqw is constructed fromwslq (2). It is shown that the corresponding quasi-R-matrix is regular Rw $\hat R$ wRw=Rw.

Abstract:In this paper, firstly, we use the bosonic oscillators to construct a two-parameter deformed Virasoro algebra, which is a non-multiplicative Hom-Lie algebra. Secondly, a non-trivial Hopf structure related to the two-parameter deformed Virasoro algebra is presented, that is, we construct a new two-parameter quantum group.

Abstract:We give some applications of a Hopf algebra constructed from a group acting on another Hopf algebra A as Hopf automorphisms, namely Molnar's smash coproduct Hopf algebra. We find connections between the exponent and Frobenius-Schur indicators of a smash coproduct and the twisted exponents and twisted Frobenius-Schur indicators of the original Hopf algebra A. We study the category of modules of the smash coproduct.

Abstract:A two-parameter quantum group is obtained from the usual enveloping algebra by adding two commutative grouplike elements. In this paper, we generalize this procession further by adding commutative grouplike elements b ik , c ik , g ik , h ik ( i ∈ I, k = 1,..., m i ) of a Hopf algebra H to the quantized enveloping algebra U q ( G ) of a Borcherds superalgebra G defined by a symmetrizable integral Borcherds–Cartan matrix A = ( a ij ) i,j∈I . Therefore, we define an extended Hopf superalgebra H ⊗′ U q ( G ). We also discuss the basis and the grouplike elements of H ⊗′ U q ( G ).

Abstract:In[3]and[6],the Hopf algebra structures of path algebra and path coalgebra on a Hopf quiver and a covering quiver respect to a weight sequence respectively were introduced independently.The main aim of this paper is to show the dually one-to-one correspondent relations between their structures(see Theorems 2.1 and 2.4).As applications,firstly,the authors obtain some important results about the Hopf algebra structure on the quotient of path algebra on a cycle;then,they prove that the Sweedler's fourdimensional Hopf algebra H4 is not only quasi-triangular but also co-quasi-triangular.Lastly,they characterize the graded automorphism group of the Hopf algebras on the path algebra of a Schurian covering quiver, according to that on the path coalgebra of a Schurian Hopf quiver.
Automorphisms of quantum toroidal algebras from an action of the extended double affine braid group

Abstract:We first construct an action of the extended double affine braid group $\mathcal{\ddot{B}}$ on the quantum toroidal algebra $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathrm{tor}})$ in untwisted and twisted types. As a crucial step in the proof, we obtain a finite Drinfeld new style presentation for a broad class of quantum affinizations. In the simply laced cases, using our action and certain involutions of $\mathcal{\ddot{B}}$ we produce automorphisms and anti-involutions of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathrm{tor}})$ which exchange the horizontal and vertical subalgebras. Moreover, they switch the central elements $C$ and $k_{0}^{a_{0}}\dots k_{n}^{a_{n}}$ up to inverse. This can be viewed as the analogue, for these quantum toroidal algebras, of the duality for double affine braid groups used by Cherednik to realise the difference Fourier transform in his celebrated proof of the Macdonald evaluation conjectures. Our work generalises existing results in type $A$ due to Miki which have been instrumental in the study of the structure and representation theory of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1,\mathrm{tor}})$.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce quantum Demazure--Lusztig operators acting by ring automorphisms on the equivariant quantum cohomology of the Springer resolution. Our main application is a presentation of the torus-equivariant quantum cohomology in terms of generators and relations. We provide explicit descriptions for the classical types. We also recover Kim's earlier results for the complete flag varieties by taking the Toda limit.

Abstract:We define a kind of quantized enveloping algebra of a generalized Kac-Moody algebra G by adding a generator J satisfying Jm=Jm−1 for some integer m. We denote this algebra by wUqτ(G). This algebra is a weak Hopf algebra if and only if m=2. In general, it is a bialgebra, and contains a Hopf subalgebra. This Hopf subalgebra is isomorphic to the usually quantum envelope algebra Uq(G) of a generalized Kac-Moody algebra G.

Abstract:In present paper, some properties of Hopf action on vertex algebras will be given. We prove that $V#H$ is an $\mathcal{S}$-local vertex algebra but it is not a vertex algebra when $V$ is an $H$-module vertex algebra. Abstract:In present paper we define a new kind of quantized enveloping algebra of sl(2). We denote this algebra by U-r,U-t, where r, t are two non-negative integers. It is a non-commutative and non-cocommutative Hopf algebra. If r = 0, then the algebra U-r,U-t is isomorphic to a tensor product of the algebra of infinite cyclic group and the usual quantum enveloping algebra of sl(2) as Hopf algebras. The representation of this algebra is studied.

Abstract:In this article, we investigate Hopf actions on vertex algebras. Our first main result is that every finite-dimensional Hopf algebra that inner faithfully acts on a given \pi_2-injective vertex algebra must be a group algebra. Secondly, under suitable assumptions, we establish a Schur-Weyl type duality for semisimple Hopf actions on Hopf modules of vertex algebras.

Abstract:We study the relationship between antipodes on a Hopf algebroid $\mathcal{H}$ in the sense of Böhm-Szlachanyi and the group of twists that lies inside the associated convolution algebra. We specialize to the case of a faithfully flat $H$-Hopf-Galois extensions $B\subseteq A$ and related Ehresmann-Schauenburg bialgebroid. In particular, we find that the twists are in one-to-one correspondence with $H$-comodule algebra automorphism of $A$. We work out in detail the $U(1)$-extension ${\mathcal O}(\mathbb{C}P^{n-1}_q)\subseteq {\mathcal O}(S^{2n-1}_q)$ on the quantum projective space and show how to get an antipode on the bialgebroid out of the $K$-theory of the base algebra ${\mathcal O}(\mathbb{C}P^{n-1}_q)$.
