Abstract:The article presents an attempt at a comprehensive macroeconomic modeling of the activities of the Russian forest industry with an analysis of the topical issue on the agenda of maximizing the potential of forests in order to decarbonize the national economy. An original economic-mathematical model of the regional forest complex is proposed, detailed by blocks: logging, timber industry, forest ecosystem services. Unlike most similar models, which, as a rule, are built around the description of trade flows of the entire range of forest products, this work proceeds from the consideration of the forest complex as a source of a full range of forest ecosystem services. The model has been tested for the regions of Siberia and the Far East, where a significant part of Russian forests and capacities for their industrial processing are located. The results of scenario calculations show that the preservation of current trends in forest management in these regions is unacceptable both from the point of view of the sustainable development of the industry (due to the approaching depletion of the forest resource base) and in the context of responding to the challenges that are relevant to the Russian economy. The target to increase carbon sequestration to 1.2 billion tons of CO 2 -equivalent by 2050, declared in the Strategy for the socioeconomic development of the Russian Federation with a low level of greenhouse gas emissions, is an important signal for the growth of investment attractiveness of the forest-climatic sector, which is new for the Russian economy. Calculations show that with the full development of forest-climatic initiatives, this sector can give an additional impetus to the development of the economy and transform the purely raw-material domestic forest industry into one of the flagships of the international decarbonization agenda.

Abstract:Forest plantations provide a wide range of products. Therefore, it is vital to ensure the sustainable growth and adequate management of forest resources. This study aims to examine the current challenges facing the forest industry, such as the depletion of forest resources, the increasing cost of wood processing products, and intensifying competition in the timber market (caused by the tropical wood supply). These challenges force the world's leading forest countries to intensify forest cultivation, to consult forest industries in the Far East and to optimize the sustainable use of forest resources. It was found that current distribution of cutting practices threatens the forest ecosystem. The study suggests a scheme where 10–30% of forest area is clear-cut, 70–90% is selectively logged, and 20–35% is exposed to gradual felling. Factors, such as harvesting time, exhaust emissions, the loss of young trees, topsoil degradation, load on the soil surface, and the slope angle are essential for building mathematical models of forest sustainability. The intensity of wood transportation is also a critical factor influencing the above indicators. The study proposes a model for reorganizing regional wood harvesting companies to improve their profitability. The theoretical model is adapted to the Far Eastern context, but is suitable for use in other parts of the world.

Abstract:Since the Industrial Revolution, human economic activity and the global development of society in general have been heavily dependent on the exploitation of natural resources. The use of fossil fuels, deforestation, the drainage of wetlands, the transformation of coastal marine ecosystems, unsustainable land use, and many other unbalanced processes of human activity have led to an increase both in the anthropogenic emissions of climate-active gases and in their concentration in the atmosphere. It is believed that over the past ~150 years these phenomena have contributed to an increase in the global average temperature in the near-surface layer of the atmosphere by ~1 °C. Currently, the most pressing tasks facing states and scientific and civil societies are to reduce anthropogenic CO2 emissions and to limit the global air temperature increase. In this regard, there is an urgent need to change existing production systems in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to sequester them. In this review, we consider up-to-date scientific approaches and innovative technologies, which may help in developing roadmaps to reduce the emissions of climate-active gases, control rising temperatures, decarbonize economies, and promote the sustainable development of society in general.
A Strategic Forest Management Model for Optimizing Timber Yield and Carbon Sequestration

Abstract:Abstract Strategic forest management planning models designed to maintain existing carbon stocks and maximize capacity for future sequestration can help identify underused opportunities to increase carbon stocks without diminishing other forest products. This study proposed a carbon stock unit that allows summing up the stocks in the different forest pools even if the decomposition far exceeds the planning horizon. This unit is used to integrate the methods and algorithms from the Carbon Budget Model of the Canadian Forest Sector (CBM-CFS3) model into a wood supply model. The resulting model could be used to predict changes in carbon stocks, transfers between carbon pools, and greenhouse gas emissions that would result from every forest management activity. We tailored this model to meet different strategies: maximizing carbon storage in the forest, maximizing high-sustained timber yield, and achieving the dual objectives of yield and carbon storage. A range of management scenarios were simulated using the data of a 485,000 hectares mixed-wood forest in Quebec, Canada. Our results demonstrate that, with the reduction in the harvest rates, the increase in the ecosystem carbon storage is insufficient to offset the carbon losses associated with the increase in the harvest rates.

Abstract:As forest-based climate change mitigation has become a crucial element of international climate policy it is of increasing importance to understand the processes leading to the carbon offsetting capacity of the sector. In our study, we assessed the climate benefits of contrasting forest management strategies: decreasing harvest and enlarging the forest carbon stock, or increasing harvest to increase carbon uptake, wood product carbon pools, and substitution effects. We developed the Forest Industry Carbon Model (FICM) which is a new carbon accounting tool covering forest biomass, dead organic matter, soil, and harvested wood product pools, as well as avoided emissions through product and energy substitution. We modeled the carbon balance of the Hungarian forest industry under three different scenarios. In the business as usual (BAU) scenario, we assumed no changes in the current harvest and afforestation levels. In the extensification scenario, we assumed that the harvest and afforestation levels drop to half, while in the intensification scenario, we assumed an increase in afforestation, improved industrial wood assortments, and a gradual increase in logging, reaching the highest level as per sustainability criteria by 2050. Our results show that the intensification scenario is characterized by the largest net removals and the maximized product and energy substitution effects. By 2050, the net forest industry carbon balance reaches −8447 kt CO2 eq under the BAU scenario, while −7011 kt CO2 eq is reached under the extensification scenario and −22,135 kt CO2 eq is reached under the intensification scenario. Although substitution effects are not accounted for under the land-based (LULUCF) sector in the greenhouse gas inventory, the emission reductions in the industry and energy sectors have beneficial effects on the national carbon balance. Modeling results show that the 2030 LULUCF greenhouse gas removal target set by EU legislation for Hungary is reached under the intensification scenario. To achieve this outcome, widespread innovation is needed in the wood sector. The modeling results show that nonutilization of forests can only be a very short-term solution; however, its favorable effects will be reversed by 2050 resulting in additional emissions compared to the BAU scenario.

Embodied Carbon Accounting for Forest Industry Trade in BRICS Countries: An MRIO Modeling Approach

Abstract:A multi-regional input-output (MRIO) model was constructed to measure and compare the trade-induced carbon emissions within the forest industry among the BRICS countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. The results indicate the following: (1) The primary source of import/export-related carbon emissions from the forest industry in BRICS countries is the trade of paper products, with the exception of Russia, where wood products significantly contribute to its export-related carbon emissions. (2) The net carbon emissions from forest industry trade in BRICS countries underwent varying degrees of volatility during the period from 2008 to 2013. (3) China and Russia exhibited notably higher levels of trade-induced carbon emissions in their forest industries compared to other BRICS nations, while the scale of embodied carbon emissions from international trade in the forest industry of South Africa, Brazil, and India remained relatively similar. (4) The trade-induced carbon emissions of the forest industry in BRICS countries were predominantly export-oriented between 1995 and 2018. Therefore, it is recommended that BRICS nations prioritize addressing carbon emissions within the forest industry's trade sector. Collaborative efforts should be intensified to promote cleaner development pathways, foster sustainable economic growth, and take a more proactive stance in global climate change negotiations.

Optimizing Carbon Sequestration in Forest Management Plans Using Advanced Algorithms: A Case Study of Greater Khingan Mountains

Abstract:The Paris Agreement aims to combat climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, with bioenergy identified as a potential solution. However, concerns remain about its impact on carbon stocks and the optimal timing for implementation. To address these challenges, we propose a comprehensive multi-objective optimization model for forest management that maximizes carbon sequestration and economic benefits. Our model integrates three key components: (1) a sophisticated carbon-sequestration model encompassing living plants, wood forest products, and soil and microbial carbon uptake, (2) dynamic factors such as forest fires and extreme weather events, and (3) an economic benefits model focused on wood-processing products. We optimized the forest-management strategy over ten years by leveraging the simulated annealing and Karush–Kuhn–Tucker (KKT) algorithms. Through simulations using data from China's Greater Khingan Mountains region, we explored the optimal logging plans for maximizing carbon sequestration without external factors. Our results revealed that the optimized logging plans significantly enhance carbon sequestration compared to proportionally averaged logging plans. Next, we investigated the impact of external factors on forest management, specifically wildfires and extreme weather events. Our findings demonstrate that wildfires have a more-substantial detrimental effect on the absolute value of carbon sequestration and the extent of improvement achieved through model optimization. At the same time, extreme cold primarily affects the growth rate of carbon sequestration. We employed a linear-weighting approach and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to address the trade-offs between carbon sequestration and economic benefits to transform the multi-objective optimization function into a single objective. The results showed that the optimized harvesting schedule can lead to improved economic benefits compared to uniformly harvesting trees. Moreover, the joint optimization approach enabled us to identify optimal solutions that balance carbon sequestration and economic benefits, offering sustainable forest management strategies. Our study provides valuable quantitative insights into forest management strategies that balance carbon sequestration and economic benefits, making it highly relevant for real-world applications.

Efficiency analysis and CO2 emission reduction strategies in the US forest sector: a data envelopment analysis approach

Abstract:Industrial economic activities produce pollutants and environmentally sustainable production systems in forestry aim to minimize these undesirable outputs while maintaining high production and economic growth. In this contribution, we assume that in addition to plot-specific inputs and outputs, there are some contextual variables that may be exogenously fixed or may be under the control of the decision-makers. In this sense, we first propose a novel and practical approach to calculate environmental efficiency by reducing undesirable products. Then, we utilize an inverse data envelopment analysis (IDEA) model to effectively manage and reduce CO 2 emissions. In doing so, the applied models have been utilized to evaluate the efficiencies of 89 forest plots in the USA. Given our estimations in a real application to the forest plots, the study revealed that the average environmental efficiency score is nearly 0.75 (out of 1). However, there is potential for improvement by adjusting the impacts of contextual factors, which could raise the score to approximately 0.8. Furthermore, the analysis indicates a positive correlation between ownership and environmental efficiency, suggesting that increased ownership leads to higher environmental efficiency. Conversely, temperature exhibits a negative correlation with environmental efficiency. Finally, the results obtained from the IDEA indicate that in order to reduce undesirable outputs by a specific level of 5–10%, it is necessary to decrease other inputs and outputs. This is because, under the assumption of weak disposability, reducing the level of undesirable outputs requires a reduction in certain factors that influence production capacity. In other words, achieving the desired reduction in undesirable outputs inevitably involves diminishing certain aspects of the production process. As the major conclusion, the emergence of IDEA as a powerful tool for sensitivity analysis, along with its flexible nature, offers exciting opportunities for research and practical applications in various fields, including forestry activities. It has the potential to enhance overall environmental efficiency and enable better control over GHG emissions levels.

Abstract:State and local governments are increasingly interested in understanding the role forests and harvested wood products play in regional carbon sinks and storage, their potential contributions to state-level greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions, and the interactions between GHG reduction goals and potential economic opportunities. We used empirically driven process-based forest carbon dynamics and harvested wood product models in a systems-based approach to project the carbon impacts of various forest management and wood utilization activities in Maryland and Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2100. To quantify state-wide forest carbon dynamics, we integrated forest inventory data, harvest and management activity data, and remotely-sensed metrics of land-use change and natural forest disturbances within a participatory modeling approach. We accounted for net GHG emissions across (1) forest ecosystems (2) harvested wood products, (3) substitution benefits from wood product utilization, and (4) leakage associated with reduced in-state harvesting activities. Based on state agency partner input, a total of 15 management scenarios were modeled for Maryland and 13 for Pennsylvania, along with two climate change impact scenarios and two bioenergy scenarios for each state. Our findings show that both strategic forest management and wood utilization can provide substantial climate change mitigation potential relative to business-as-usual practices, increasing the forest C sink by 29% in Maryland and 38% in Pennsylvania by 2030 without disrupting timber supplies. Key climate-smart forest management activities include maintaining and increasing forest extent, fostering forest resiliency and natural regeneration, encouraging sustainable harvest practices, balancing timber supply and wood utilization with tree growth, and preparing for future climate impacts. This study adds to a growing body of work that quantifies the relationships between forest growth, forest disturbance, and harvested wood product utilization, along with their collective influence on carbon stocks and fluxes, to identify pathways to enhance forest carbon sinks in support of state-level net-zero emission targets.
Re-imagining the Future of Forest Management -- An Age-Dependent Approach towards Harvesting

Abstract:Facing the drastic climate changes, current strategies for enhancing carbon dioxide stocks need to be thoroughly honed. To address the problem, we first built a carbon sequestration growth model driven by growth rate dependency (GRDM). We abstracted the carbon cycling system into the process of photosynthesis, the humidity fluctuation, and the original storage of carbon in the trees. In the photosynthesis model, we considered various factors, including transition rate of absorption and organic matter production. We also designed an Economic Return Evaluation Model (EREM) to estimate the optimal distribution of trees in the forest based on the utility function. Maximizing the utility brought by the amount of carbon storage, we derived the equation for profit optimization with the constraints of total economic expenses allowed. To assess its performance, we took an object-oriented approach, simulated an ideal forest by placing instances of trees and plotted a time-dependent forest composition graph. After proper normalization of climate and economic data, we also make predictions for 169 worldwide forest-covered countries. Our model further suggests high sensitivity and robustness with a similar trend of overall utility when environmental aridity or proportion of harvested woods are varied. Finally, we apply the model to Georgia temperate deciduous forest, and we evaluate the carbon storage ability to adjust the Red Spruce based on available biological literature research. We recognize that while the model is preliminary in its failure to identify a diverse array of variables, it has encapsulated key features of idealized forests.

Industrial solutions for developing low-carbon technologies and achieving carbon neutrality

Abstract:Aim. The presented study aims to analyze Russian and international experience in the development of measures aimed at reducing the negative impact of climate change and adapting to it; to examine the impact of certain regulatory mechanisms on the business of domestic manufacturing companies. Tasks. The authors investigate the experience of several Russian companies (through the example of ferrous metallurgy and the pulp and paper industry) in the introduction of innovative decarbonization technologies; assess the prospects for their use to achieve decarbonization. Methods. This study analyzes Russian and foreign scientific literature, information from open sources, analytical materials and statistics of international organizations. The subject of the study is the approaches to solving the problem of decarbonization and achieving carbon neutrality. Results. The ways to achieve carbon neutrality in ferrous metallurgy and the pulp and paper industry — the two industries that are major environmental pollutants — are considered in the context of measures aimed at combating the global processes of climate change and Russia’s strategy of socio-economic development with low greenhouse gas emissions until 2050. The prospects of an inertial way of achieving decarbonization and innovative options for the strategic development of low-carbon technologies are described. The prospects of a wider introduction of direct recovery technology in ferrous metallurgy are shown. In the pulp and paper industry, the possibilities of developing technologies for the production of nanocellulose based on the use of industrial waste are identified. Conclusions. From the perspective of responding to climate challenges and achieving the optimal economic effect in ferrous metallurgy, the most strategically justified choice seems to be in favor of an innovative way of structural sectoral transformations aimed towards decarbonization and achieving carbon neutrality by reducing the carbon intensity of production through methods of carbon dioxide capture, use, and storage, and direct reduction of iron based on hydrogen. This conclusion corresponds to the strategy for the development of metallurgy adopted in 2022, which orients the industry toward the development and implementation of innovative lowcarbon technologies. In the pulp and paper industry, it seems promising to conduct further research to obtain innovative technologies for the production of nanocellulose.

Economic and Natural Factors of Spatial Heterogeneity of Forest Carbon Emissions in Russia in the 2010s

Abstract:Increasing the net carbon sequestration of forests is the only way for Russia to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. In this context, along with measures to increase the area and quality of stands, ways to reduce carbon emissions due to human activities and natural disturbances are important. The article uses regression models of panel data to analyze the spatial heterogeneity of carbon emissions in the Russian forests in 2009–2021 as measured by Global Forest Watch project tools, depending on economic (volume of logging, government spending on forest management, forest protection and forest fire measures) and natural (scale of forest fires and outbreaks of mass reproduction of insect pests) factors. Logging and forest fires are expected to have the greatest impact on forest carbon losses, while spending on the performance of state functions in the sphere of forest relations has almost no response in the reduction of carbon emissions. Thus, in fact, the goal of preserving forests through public investment in appropriate measures has not yet been achieved. The resulting set of regression models can be used to predict the dynamics of the regional effects of forest carbon losses under changes in logging volumes and various trajectories of the dynamics of forest fire activity. Such analysis will be critically necessary for the formation of regional plans for greenhouse gas emission reduction, taking into account the maximum use of the potential of forests’ net carbon sequestration build-up.

Abstract:The faster market changes of EU's CO 2 emission allowance price have increased operation challenges in wood supply of forest industry. The objectives of this study are to present basics of its data-driven modeling for purchasing renewable forest wood. Particularly, the effects of the changes in prices and available carbon sink are considered in management of wood purchasing at the level of the local districts. Two scenarios described procurement situations in non-renewable carbon sinks. The results were compared to the scenario in renewable carbon sink of carbon–neutral forestry. Time-varying emission-allowance parameters of models affected wood purchase and deliveries in the districts. Therefore, cost efficiency of wood-supply operations, as well as the utilization rate of renewable wood resources, can be optimized by data-driven dynamic wood-flow models in digitalized decision support. In addition, the results testify that the model optimizes wood purchasing in the districts at the way of CO 2 emission allowance market. Therefore, by using the model wood-supply operations could be optimized toward carbon neutrality, which is important success factor of forest industry.

Abstract:The achievement of the targets of reducing greenhouse gas emissions is ensured, among other things, through direct price regulation measures, for the implementation of which a necessary condition is the calculation of the carbon footprint of products. At the same time, carbon footprint targets can be used as driving parameters to set industry targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as to provide government support measures for enterprises. The aim of the work is to develop a methodological approach to the use of the «carbon footprint of products» indicator as a parameter for assessing the current and forecast values of greenhouse gas emissions from enterprises in industries that are subject to carbon regulation. The hypothesis of the study is to justify the use of target values of the indicator «carbon footprint of products» for strategic estimates of greenhouse gas emissions in the process of industrial decarbonization. For this purpose, the paper considers the organizational and economic mechanism of the European emissions trading system. A methodical approach to determining the carbon footprint of metallurgical products is described, and calculations of the carbon footprint of metallurgical enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region are performed. Calculations based on average indicators of the carbon intensity of products of Russian metallurgical enterprises showed that the total carbon footprint of the metallurgical sector of the Sverdlovsk region in 2021 is 21.8 million tons of CO2-eq; its target value may be 16.7 million tons of CO2-eq . Differences in values are due to the existing structure of manufactured products and applied technologies. The development of standard metrics for assessing greenhouse gas emissions at the enterprise level, regularly conducting such an assessment and its verification by an independent organization may constitute a preparatory stage that makes it possible to launch a mechanism for trading greenhouse gas emissions at the regional or country level. Additionally, the carbon footprint of products can act as a control parameter while establishing quantitative values for the volume of greenhouse gas emission reductions. The proposed methodological approach can be used by decision makers to shape regional decarbonization policies.

Abstract:A step-by-step construction of data harmonized models makes it possible to gradually eliminate unnecessary information in terms of forest complex and at the same time to increase the functionality necessary for further calculations, with each model in the complex used for certain purposes contributing to the calculations of the forest complex. This article provides a step-by-step construction of the Optimization Interregional Intersectoral Model (OIIM) modification for the forest complex. The proposed stages contain a brief description of transition from the national economic model in value terms (OIIM) to the sectoral production-transport type model of the forest complex in volume terms (PTM-FC). The obtained results based on the industry model can be used to analyze the current economic situation, identify the gaps in the industry and project its future development. Besides, the article contains the results of preliminary calculations based on point industry model of the forest complex (PIM-FC), which were used to outline the development scenarios for forest complex until 2030 as described in 2030 Forestry Development Strategy. The analysis of the calculation data shows that the estimate of the domestic market and the volume of exports in 2030 Forestry Development Strategy seems to be overestimated; as a result, the growth rate set out therein may well be jeopardized.

Abstract:Reducing carbon emissions is the direction various industries will head in the future. Solid wood furniture products that occupy important market shares have high carbon reduction potential. This article briefly describes the carbon footprint of the solid wood furniture production process. In addition, it analyzes the feasible carbon reduction technologies applicable during the design and manufacturing process through the potential emission reduction-oriented approach, ranging from the upstream raw materials to overall power consumption. The primary carbon reduction potential points entail the high efficiency and reuse of primary materials, the reduction of auxiliary materials, and the optimization of solid wood processing based on spraying and dust removal. In this study, the carbon reduction design of solid wood furniture primarily covers the design methods, material selection, structural design, and packaging design. The carbon reduction manufacturing technology was analyzed from a process, equipment, and management aspect. It is hoped that this study can provide a reference for the future strategic design of solid wood furniture companies, which will promote low-carbon development in the wood furniture industry.

Economic effect of carbon storage due to forest management intensification: analysis and forecast for the Republic of Karelia

Abstract:Objective : to assess the economic potential of carbon storage for a group of companies in the Republic of Karelia in the context of intensive forest management. Methods : SWOT analysis; assessment of a forest management project according to the VM10 international methodology, Verified Carbon Standard 2016 and forecast of revenues from selling carbon units. Results : the potential of Russian forest management in the context of the Paris Agreement is not disputed, but the assessment of the economic potential of carbon storage of individual economic entities at the moment remains open for discussion. The study estimates the effect of selling carbon units from forest management intensification projects, taking into account the maximum lease term for the area of 2.25 million hectares. This effect can reach an average of 23 million rubles per year from 2023 to 2034 and an average of 42 million rubles per year from 2023 to 2050, excluding the capital costs of logging and preparation, validation, verification and registration of the climate project, and field observations to ensure monitoring. The study proves that long-term investments in forest management intensification and a longer period of the climate project can lead to higher income per hectare from selling carbon units. Scientific novelty : it consists in the economic evaluation of regulatory restrictions on the price of carbon unit for forest climate projects, taking into account the maximum lease term stipulated by national legislation. The obtained results substantiate the economic challenges associated with the current regulations and provide information on the variability of project efficiency depending on the selected term of its implementation. Practical significance : the main results of the research can be used in the practical activity of economic entities, as well as by the bodies forming the policy of forest management.

Abstract:Forest ecosystems are significant carbon pools on a global scale, and also a source of renewable raw materials. Moreover, the European Union (EU) aims to tackle climate change and reach climate neutrality; therefore, forest regulations are designed to promote sustainable forest management practices and ensure the long-term health and productivity of forests. It is important to balance regulatory requirements with the economic, social, and environmental needs of forest stakeholders. This study analyses four theoretical scenarios (business as usual, green deal, intensive forestry, and intensive forestry with afforestation) and prognoses the management impact on standing volume and carbon stock in living trees and harvested wood products (HWPs). Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate different theoretical forest management scenarios to predict changes in standing volume and carbon stock in living tree biomass and HWPs for the 100 next years. The results suggest that intensive targeted forestry practices may enhance carbon sequestration and were found to be the most suitable strategy for Latvia’s hemiboreal zone, as they balance economic benefits with carbon sequestration and ecosystem services. The obtained results can be valuable for policymakers and forest managers to promote sustainability and balance the diverse needs of society and forest stakeholders.

Abstract:Introduction: forestry industry in modern Russia cannot be called the leading one: with the world’s largest reserves of forest resources, the contribution of the timber industry to the country’s GDP is less than 1 %. The problems of effective management in the forest industry are regularly revealed in the works of both domestic and foreign scientists. In the framework of this study, the authors focus on economic nature of the problems in effectiveness of timber production management, in particular, to one of the key objects of management – the cost of production. Objectives: to conduct a comprehensive study of the existing methodological base used in the domestic timber production for calculating the production cost, identify key problems in this area and identify the main opportunities for cost management. Methods: retrospective and content analysis of regulatory legal acts in the field of cost accounting at enterprises of the forest industry, analysis, including statistical one, synthesis. The proposed software products were tested for the case of a logging enterprise; the results obtained were reviewed in a wide range of studies using general methods of analysis and comparison. Results: key approaches to estimating the production costs were revealed. Three most significant components of the cost of timber were identified, for which management (reduction) options were proposed. For effective cost of timber management, a complex of interrelated software products has been proposed and tested, the main purpose of which is to optimize a variety of enterprise processes and increase the overall efficiency of activities. Conclusions: the logging process management, including a proper information support, leads to a reduction in the cost of timber, which in turn affects the cost of all products in the industry. Assessment of management impacts effectiveness and various aspects of current activities should be carried out using a set of interrelated software products.
