Abstract:With the development of next generation artificial intelligence, the interplay between knowledge-based approaches and machine learning approaches is gaining momentum. This trend drives the researchers to pay attention to possible and novel developments in relevant areas, either based on their theoretical foundations or based on their efficient applications. This special issue collects the newly developed works from logic, argumentation and artificial intelligence, to stimulate possible outcomes from their interactions. This volume includes 14 papers selected from 25 submissions accepted to the 2020 International Conferences on Logic and Artificial Intelligence at Zhejiang University (ZJULogAI). ZJULogAI was jointly organized by the University of Luxembourg and Zhejiang University as a three-day digital online event. Abstract:This special issue cover the seventh and last conference of the CL&C series, started in 2006 in San Servolo. Topics are the computational content of logics between intuitionistic logic and classical logic, through normalization, and a new topic, cyclic proofs and the complexity of checking the correctness of a cyclic proof. Accepted papers include an empirical comparison of time consumption of different normalization algorithms, and new reductions sets for several extensions of intuitionistic logic having the Herbrand disjunction property. Another paper provides a reduction set for admissible rules for intuitionistic logic. A paper describes a subset of cyclic proofs having a polynomial-time algorithm checking correctness.

Abstract:This volume constitutes the pre-proceedings of the DECLARE 2019 conference, held on September 9 to 13, 2019 at the University of Technology Cottbus - Senftenberg (Germany). Declarative programming is an advanced paradigm for the modeling and solving of complex problems. This method has attracted increased attention over the last decades, e.g., in the domains of data and knowledge engineering, databases, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, modeling and processing combinatorial problems, and for establishing systems for the web. The conference DECLARE 2019 aims at cross-fertilizing exchange of ideas and experiences among researches and students from the different communities interested in the foundations, implementation techniques, novel applications, and combinations of high-level, declarative programming and related areas. The technical program of the event included invited talks, presentations of refereed papers, and system demonstrations. Abstract:Type theories, logical frameworks and meta-languages form a common foundation for designing, implementing, and reasoning about formal languages and their semantics. They are central to the design of modern programming languages, certified software, and domain specific logics. More generally, they continue to influence applications in many areas in mathematics, logic and computer science. The Logical Frameworks and Meta-languages: Theory and Practice workshop aims to bring together designers, implementers, and practitioners working on these areas, and in particular about: the automation and implementation of the meta-theory of programming languages and related calculi; the design of proof assistants, automated theorem provers, and formal digital libraries building upon logical framework technology; theoretical and practical issues concerning the encoding of variable binding and fresh name generation, especially the representation of, and reasoning about, datatypes defined from binding signatures; case studies of meta-programming, and the mechanization of the (meta) theory of descriptions of programming languages and other calculi. This volume contains the final and revised versions of the papers presented at LFMTP 2010, which was held on July 14, 2010 in Edinburgh (UK). LFMTP 2010 was part of the Federated Logic Conference (FLoC 2010), and affilated with LICS 2010.
