Abstract:We show that there is a good notion of irreducible sympelectic varieties of $\mathrm{K3}^{[n]}$-type over an arbitrary field of characteristic zero or $p > n + 1$. Then we construct mixed characteristic moduli spaces for these varieties. Our main result is a generalization of Ogus' crystalline Torelli theorem for supersingular K3 surfaces. For applications, we answer a slight variant of a question asked by F. Charles on moduli spaces of sheaves on K3 surfaces and give a crystalline Torelli theorem for supersingular cubic fourfolds.

Cubic fourfolds with symplectic automorphisms

Abstract:We determine projective equations of smooth complex cubic fourfolds with symplectic automorphisms by classifying 6-dimensional projective representations of Laza and Zheng's 34 groups. In particular, we determine the number of irreducible components for moduli spaces of cubic fourfolds with symplectic actions by these groups. We also discuss the fields of definition of cubic fourfolds in six maximal cases.

Abstract:Using reduced Gromov–Witten theory, we define new invariants which capture the enumerative geometry of curves on holomorphic symplectic 4-folds. The invariants are analogous to the BPS counts of Gopakumar and Vafa for Calabi–Yau 3-folds, Klemm and Pandharipande for Calabi–Yau 4-folds, and Pandharipande and Zinger for Calabi–Yau 5-folds. We conjecture that our invariants are integers and give a sheaf-theoretic interpretation in terms of reduced 4-dimensional Donaldson–Thomas invariants of one-dimensional stable sheaves. We check our conjectures for the product of two K 3 surfaces and for the cotangent bundle of . Modulo the conjectural holomorphic anomaly equation, we compute our invariants also for the Hilbert scheme of two points on a K 3 surface. This yields a conjectural formula for the number of isolated genus 2 curves of minimal degree on a very general hyperkähler 4-fold of -type. The formula may be viewed as a 4-dimensional analogue of the classical Yau–Zaslow formula concerning counts of rational curves on K 3 surfaces. In the course of our computations, we also derive a new closed formula for the Fujiki constants of the Chern classes of tangent bundles of both Hilbert schemes of points on K 3 surfaces and generalized Kummer varieties.

Topological characterization and Hodge structures of some rationally elliptic projective fourfolds

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the rationally elliptic projective fourfolds that are holomorphically embedded into the complex projective eight-space $\mathbb{P}^8$. It is proved that a simply-connected $\mathbb Q$-homological projective four-space $X\subset\mathbb{P}^8$ is biholomorphic to $\mathbb P^4$ by using Euler characteristic and Chern numbers formulae of the normal bundle for a holomorphic embedding $i:X \to\mathbb{P}^8$. During the process of proving the result, we incidentally discovered that a $\mathbb{Q}$-homological projective 4-space $X$ with Kodaira dimension $k(X) \neq 4$ is isomorphic to $\mathbb{P}^4$. This finding provides a positive answer to a question posed by Wilson in the case where the dimension $n=4$. Using a similar approach, we show that the Hodge conjecture holds for the rationally elliptic fourfold $X \subset\mathbb{P}^8$, and the rationally elliptic fourfold $X \subset\mathbb{P}^8$ has non-positive Hodge level.

Abstract:Given X , a K3 surface admitting a symplectic automorphism τ of order 4, we describe the isometry τ∗ on H2(X,Z) . Having called Z∼ and Y∼ , respectively, the minimal resolutions of the quotient surfaces Z=X/τ2 and Y=X/τ , we also describe the maps induced in cohomology by the rational quotient maps X→Z∼,X→Y∼ and Y∼→Z∼ : With this knowledge, we are able to give a lattice‐theoretic characterization of Z∼ , and find the relation between the Néron–Severi lattices of X,Z∼ and Y∼ in the projective case. We also produce three different projective models for X,Z∼ and Y∼ , each associated to a different polarization of degree 4 on X .

Singular symplectic surfaces

Abstract:In this paper we classify all singular irreducible symplectic surfaces, i.e., compact, connected complex surfaces with canonical singularities that have a holomorphic symplectic form $\sigma$ on the smooth locus, and for which every finite quasi-étale covering has the algebra of reflexive forms spanned by the reflexive pull-back of $\sigma$. We moreover prove that the Hilbert scheme of two points on such a surface $X$ is an irreducible symplectic variety, at least in the case where the smooth locus of $X$ is simply connected.

Complete intersection hyperkähler fourfolds with respect to equivariant vector bundles over rational homogeneous varieties of Picard number one

Abstract:We classify fourfolds with trivial canonical bundle which are zero loci of general global sections of completely reducible equivariant vector bundles over exceptional homogeneous varieties of Picard number one. By computing their Hodge numbers, we see that there exist no hyperkähler fourfolds among them. This implies that a hyperkähler fourfold represented as the zero locus of a general global section of a completely reducible equivariant vector bundle over a rational homogeneous variety of Picard number one is one of the two cases described by Beauville--Donagi and Debarre--Voisin.

Abstract:We exhibit generically nonreduced components of the Hilbert scheme of at least $21$ points on a smooth variety of dimension at least four. The result was announced in~[Jelisiejew__open_problems] and answers a question~[Problem~3.8, AIMPL]. The method is similar to the one of~[\S6, Jelisiejew-Šivic].

Abstract:In this article we present a 3-dimensional analogue of a well-known theorem of Bombieri (Inst Hautes Etudes Sci Publ Math 42:171–219, 1973) which characterizes the bi-canonical birationality of surfaces of general type. Let X be a projective minimal threefold of general type with ℚ -factorial terminal singularities and the geometric genus p g ( X ) ≥ 5. We show that the 4-canonical map φ_4 is not birational onto its image if and only if X is birationally fibred by a family C of irreducible curves of geometric genus 2 with K_X· C_0=1 where C 0 is a general irreducible member in C .
Invariants of real symplectic 4-manifolds out of reducible and cuspidal curves

Abstract:We construct invariants under deformation of real symplectic 4-manifolds. These invariants are obtained by counting three different kinds of real rational J-holomorphic curves which realize a given homology class and pass through a given real configuration of (the appropriate number of) points. These curves are cuspidal curves, reducible curves and curves with a prescribed tangent line at some real point of the configuration. They are counted with respect to some sign defined by the parity of their number of isolated real double points and in the case of reducible curves, with respect to some mutiplicity. In the case of the complex projective plane equipped with its standard symplectic form and real structure, these invariants coincide with the ones previously constructed in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="math.AG/0303145" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/math.AG/0303145">math.AG/0303145</a>. This leads to a relation between the count of real rational J-holomorphic curves done in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="math.AG/0303145" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/math.AG/0303145">math.AG/0303145</a> and the count of real rational reducible J-holomorphic curves presented here.

Abstract:We classify the irreducible components of the Hilbert scheme of $n$ points on non-reduced algebraic plane curves, and give a formula for the multiplicities of the irreducible components. The irreducible components are indexed by partitions of $n$; all have dimension $n$; and their multiplicities are given as a polynomial of the parts of the corresponding partitions.

Abstract:In this paper we study equivariant moduli spaces of sheaves on a $ K3 $ surface $ X $ under a symplectic action of a finite group. We prove that under some mild conditions, equivariant moduli spaces of sheaves on $ X $ are irreducible symplectic manifolds deformation equivalent to Hilbert schemes of points on $ X $ via a connection between Gieseker and Bridgeland moduli spaces, as well as the derived McKay correspondence.

Moduli spaces on Kuznetsov components are Irreducible Symplectic Varieties

Abstract:This article studies moduli spaces of Bridgeland semistable objects in the Kuznetsov component of a cubic fourfold that don't admit a symplectic resolution, i.e., moduli spaces of objects with non-primitve Mukai vector v=mv_0 that is not of OG10-type and where v_0^2 >0. For a generic stability condition, it is shown that these moduli spaces are projective irreducible symplectic varieties with factorial terminal singularities and that their deformation class is uniquely determined by the integers m and v_0^2. Abstract:We show that the Satake-Baily-Borel compactification of the moduli space of lattice polarized K3 surfaces parametrizing K3 surfaces of degree 2 with four rational double points of type $D_4$ is the projective 3-space. We also show that the corresponding graded ring of automorphic forms is generated by four elements of weight 2 and one element of weight 11 with one relation of weight 22.

Abstract:Höhn and Mason classified the possible symplectic groups acting on an Irreducible Holomorphic Symplectic (IHS) manifold of K3$^{[2]}$-type, finding that $\mathbb Z_3^4 : \mathcal A_6$ is the symplectic group with the biggest order. In this paper, we study the possible IHS manifolds of K3$^{[2]}$-type with a symplectic action of $\mathbb Z_3^4 : \mathcal A_6$ and also admitting a non-symplectic automorphism. We characterize such IHS manifolds. In particular we prove that there exists a IHS manifold of K3$^{[2]}$-type with finite automorphism group of order 174960, the biggest possible order for the automorphism group of a IHS manifold of K3$^{[2]}$-type, and it is the Fano variety of lines of the Fermat cubic fourfold.
