Abstract:Sialolipoma is an uncommon benign neoplasm that may originate from both major and minor salivary glands. It has recently been classified as a variant of lipomatous lesions affecting the salivary glands. A 53-year-old male patient was referred to a specialized stomatology center, reporting a 10-year history of difficulty in swallowing. During intraoral physical examination, a tumor was identified, characterized by a smooth surface and mucosa-like color, with a pedicled base, measuring approximately 5 cm at its widest point.
