Abstract:In this paper, some remarks on the paper (Ciepliński in Bull Malays Math Sci Soc 46:62, 2023) are provided. The main results of the manuscript enhance those presented by Ciepliński. We establish the Hyers–Ulam stability and hyperstability under various conditions, addressing open problems posed by Ciepliński. Our results, provide broader and more general results compared to previous findings.

Abstract:We prove a new kind of homological stability theorem for automorphism groups of finitely-generated projective modules over Dedekind domains, which takes into account all possible stabilisation maps between these, rather than only stabilisation by the free module of rank 1. We show the same kind of stability holds for Clausen and Jansen's reductive Borel--Serre spaces.

Abstract:The question of whether there is a true isometry that approximates the ε-isometry defined on a bounded set has long interested mathematicians. The first paper on this topic was published by Fickett, whose result was subsequently greatly improved by Alestalo et al., Väisälä and Vestfrid. Recently, the authors published some papers improving the previous results. The main purpose of this paper is to improve all of the abovementioned results by utilizing the properties of the norm and inner product for Euclidean space.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce certain operators T λ m and T φ m on weighted Hardy spaces H β 2 , and in the following, we investigate their boundedness on H β 2 . After that, we prove the Hyers–Ulam stability for certain operators on weighted Hardy spaces H β 2 . Moreover, we show under what conditions these concepts are stable and unstable by using some examples. Finally, we investigate how differential operators are stable by using different sequences in a corollary and an example.

We also present results pertaining to the Hyers-Ulam stability of the sum and product of closable operators to have the Hyers-Ulam stability and the necessary and sufficient conditions of the Schur complement and the quadratic complement of $2 \times 2$ block matrix $\mathcal A$ in order to have the Hyers-Ulam stability.

Abstract:Consider the general linear group $G=GL_{n}(K)$ defined over an infinite field $K$ of positive characteristic $p$. We denote by $\Delta(\lambda)$ the Weyl module of $G$ which corresponds to a partition $\lambda$. Let $\lambda, \mu $ be partitions of $r$ and let $\gamma$ be partition with all parts divisible by $p$. In the first main result of this paper, we find sufficient conditions on $\lambda, \mu$ and $\gamma$ so that $Hom_G(\Delta(\lambda),\Delta(\mu))$ $ \simeq$ $ Hom_G(\Delta(\lambda +\gamma),\Delta(\mu +\gamma))$, thus providing an answer to a question of D. Hemmer. As corollaries we obtain stability and periodicity results for homomorphism spaces. In the second main result we find related sufficient conditions on $\lambda, \mu$ and $p$ so that $Hom_G(\Delta(\lambda),\Delta(\mu))$ is nonzero. An explicit map is provided that corresponds to the sum of all semistandard tableaux of shape $\mu$ and weight $\lambda$.

Abstract:For algebro-geometric study of J-stability, a variant of K-stability, we prove a decomposition formula of non-archimedean $\mathcal{J}$-energy of $n$-dimensional varieties into $n$-dimensional intersection numbers rather than $(n+1)$-dimensional ones, and show the equivalence of slope $\mathrm{J}^H$-(semi)stability and $\mathrm{J}^H$-(semi)stability for surfaces when $H$ is pseudoeffective. Among other applications, we also give a purely algebro-geometric proof of a uniform K-stability of minimal surfaces due to [23], and provides examples which are J-stable (resp., K-stable) but not uniformly J-stable (resp., uniformly K-stable).

Abstract:We show rational homological stability for the homotopy automorphisms and block diffeomorphims of iterated connected sums of products of spheres. The spheres can have different dimension, but need to satisfy a certain connectivity assumption. The main theorems of this paper extend homological stability results for automorphism spaces of connected sums of products of spheres of the same dimension by Berglund and Madsen.

Abstract:Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, Ahead of Print. Let [math] be a Krull–Schmidt Hom-finite [math]-angulated category with [math]-suspension functor [math] and Serre functor [math]. Assume [math] is an Oppermann–Thomas cluster tilting object in [math] and [math] is an auto-equivalence of [math]. Let [math]. We investigate some classes of [math]-stable [math]-rigid objects in [math], prove that the stability of [math]-rigid objects can be transferred to some pairs for [math], and we obtain a new higher version of the Adachi–Iyama–Reiten bijection. As applications, we generalize the Jacobsen–J[math]rgensen bijection to the general case (not necessarily [math]-Calabi–Yau), and we recover a work due to Yang, Zhang and Zhu.

Stable homology isomorphisms for the partition and Jones annular algebras

Abstract:We show that the homology of the Jones annular algebras is isomorphic to that of the cyclic groups below a line of gradient $\frac{1}{2}$. We also show that the homology of the partition algebras is isomorphic to that of the symmetric groups below a line of gradient 1, strengthening a result of Boyd-Hepworth-Patzt. Both isomorphisms hold in a range exceeding the stability range of the algebras in question. Along the way, we prove the usual odd-strand and invertible parameter results for the Jones annular algebras.

Abstract:We prove homological stability for two different flavours of asymptotic monopole moduli spaces, namely moduli spaces of framed Dirac monopoles and moduli spaces of ideal monopoles. The former are Gibbons-Manton torus bundles over configuration spaces whereas the latter are obtained from them by replacing each circle factor of the fibre with a monopole moduli space by the Borel construction. They form boundary hypersurfaces in a partial compactification of the classical monopole moduli spaces. Our results follow from a general homological stability result for configuration spaces equipped with non-local data.

Abstract:We study the space of smooth marked hypersurfaces in a given linear system. Specifically, we prove a homology h-principle to compare it with a space of sections of an appropriate jet bundle. Using rational models, we compute its rational cohomology in a range of degrees, and deduce a homological stability result for hypersurfaces of increasing degree. We also describe the Hodge weights on the stable cohomology, and thereby connect our topological result to motivic results of Howe.

Abstract:We introduce a new concept of Hyers-Ulam stability, in which in the size of a pseudosolution of a given ordinary differential equation and its deviation from an exact solution are measured with respect to different norms. These norms are associated to $L^p$-spaces for $p\in [1, \infty]$. Our main objective is to formulate sufficient conditions under which semilinear ordinary differential equations exhibit such property. In addition, in certain special cases we obtain explicit formulas for the best Hyers-Ulam constant.

Abstract:This paper is motivated by recent developments in group stability, high dimensional expansion, local testability of error correcting codes and topological property testing. In Part I, we formulate and motivate three stability problems: 1. Homomorphism stability: Are almost homomorphisms close to homomorphisms? 2. Covering stability: Are almost coverings of a cell complex close to genuine coverings of it? 3. Cocycle stability: Are 1-cochains whose coboundary is small close to 1-cocycles? We then prove that these three problems are equivalent.

Abstract:We improve, by a factor of 2, known homology stability ranges for the integral homology of symplectic groups over commutative local rings with infinite residue field and show that the obstruction to further stability is bounded below by Milnor-Witt K-theory. In particular our stability range is optimal in many cases.
