Abstract:Typically, SO(2) unavoidably deactivates catalysts in most heterogeneous catalytic oxidations. However, for Pt-based catalysts, SO(2) exhibits an extraordinary boosting effect in propane catalytic oxidation, but the promotive mechanism remains contentious.
