Abstract:The conformal Killing equations for the most general (non-plane wave) conformally flat pure radiation field are solved to find the conformal Killing vectors. As expected fifteen independent conformal Killing vectors exist, but in general the metric admits no Killing or homothetic vectors. However for certain special cases a one-dimensional group of homotheties or motions may exist and in one very special case, overlooked by previous investigators, a two-dimensional homethety group exists. No higher dimensional groups of motions or homotheties are admitted by these metrics.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The problems that this paper attempts to solve mainly focus on how standard - setting organizations (SSOs) deal with intellectual property (IP) rights. Specifically, the paper focuses on the following aspects: 1. **The impact of intellectual property rules on the openness of standards**: The paper explores how standard - setting organizations handle intellectual property claims, which determines whether a standard is "open" or "closed". If private companies retain the intellectual property in the standard, only these companies can sell products that conform to the standard, which may affect whether the standard adopted in the market is selected by a group or provided by a single company. 2. **The diversity of intellectual property rules**: Through empirical research, the paper shows significant diversity in how different standard - setting organizations handle intellectual property. This diversity is often accidental and does not reflect intentional competition between different policies. 3. **The applicability of antitrust laws**: The paper analyzes the constraints of antitrust laws on standard - setting organizations, especially the legal limitations these organizations face when formulating intellectual property policies. The paper points out that antitrust rules may overly restrict the behavior of standard - setting organizations, even if these organizations play a positive role in promoting competition. 4. **The enforcement issues of intellectual property rules**: The paper discusses the unresolved contract law and intellectual property law issues in the enforcement process of standard - setting organizations' intellectual property rules, and puts forward some suggestions to solve these issues. In summary, this paper aims to fill the research gap in legal literature regarding standard - setting organizations and their intellectual property rules. By investigating the intellectual property policies of multiple standard - setting organizations, it reveals the diversity and complexity of these organizations in dealing with intellectual property issues and proposes suggestions for improvement.
