Abstract:Glyphosate, is one of the leading insecticides used in several agricultural products, is associated with different adversative health inferences, especially endocrinal instabilities and cancer-causing inclinations. Since agriculture sector has extended so speedily and environmental safety regulations have become harsher and stricter, pesticide detection in vegetables and ground water has become a very important and crucial research area. To overcome the worldwide encounter from this herbicide, this investigation offerings a novel stratagem to construct an electrochemical sensor built on copper-organic framework/carbon matrix, prepared using 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid (PZDA) as the organic ligand using a one-pot solvothermal method in the presence of carbon nanofiber matrix for selective sensing of glyphosate. Electrochemical behavior of Cu-PZDA#CNF nanocomposite was studied by CV, DPV and EIS. Determination of functional groups, morphology, crystallinity have characterized by FT-IR, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman, Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. This Cu-PZDA frameworks anchored CNF electrode possesses important fundamental features such as an extensive exterior area, plentiful reactive spots, an inclusive dynamic detection range (0.01 to 200 μM), a minimal detection threshold (LOD: 3.12 nM), and an outstanding sensitivity (173.88 μA μM −1 cm −2 ) for glyphosate sensing. This Cu-PZDA#CNF/GCE electrode not only displayed outstanding electrochemical attributes, but also highlighted its capability for real-world applications with realistic retrievals. A convenient and selective method for glyphosate detection could which provides an operative analysis tool for onsite ecological nursing and food safety control.
