Abstract:Page 2451. It has come to our attention that the cluster densities are miscalculated in Figure 4b and the corresponding text due to miscalculation of the nucleus areas. The correct nucleus areas should all be multiplied by 25, so according to the definition of cluster density (cluster number divided by nucleus area), the cluster density should all be divided by 25 (Y-axis values of Figure 4b should be divided by 25). Page 2451, column 2, line 6. The text reads as follows: “As shown in Figure 4b, the Pol II cluster density in serumstimulated cells (31.4 ± 1.5 μm−2, N = 2519 clusters, n = 10 cells) is significantly higher than that in normal cells (26.1 ± 3.7 μm−2, N = 3255 clusters, n = 10 cells) and DRB/ActD treated cells (24.6 ± 4.4 μm−2, N = 2488 clusters, n = 10 DRB treated cells and 24.8 ± 5.3 μm−2, N = 2553 clusters, n = 10 ActD treated cells, respectively), while no significant difference is observed between normal and DRB/ActD treated cells.” It should be replaced with the following: “As shown in Figure 4b, the Pol II cluster density in serumstimulated cells (1.25 ± 0.07 μm−2, N = 2519 clusters, n = 10 cells) is significantly higher than that in normal cells (1.04 ± 0.15 μm−2, N = 3255 clusters, n = 10 cells) and DRB/ActD treated cells (0.98 ± 0.17 μm−2, N = 2488 clusters, n = 10 DRB treated cells and 0.97 ± 0.21 μm−2, N = 2553 clusters, n = 10 ActD treated cells, respectively), while no significant difference is observed between normal and DRB/ActD treated cells.” These miscalculated cluster densities neither impact our analysis nor change any of the conclusions of the paper. However, we would like to submit the attached revised Figure 4b and text with corrected cluster densities. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and inconvenience this error may have caused.
