Abstract:Increased heat accumulation and excessive temperature difference in the stator bars of high-voltage motors have created a strong demand for anticorona paint with excellent insulating properties, thermal stability and thermal conductivity. To this end, based on the efficient heat transfer in the "island-bridge" thermal pathway, the dual enhancement of the dielectric and thermal conductivity properties of the anticorona paint was realized by doping boron nitride (BN) fillers with different particle sizes. Then, the effects of different BN particle sizes and contents on the dielectric and thermal conductivity properties of the anticorona paint were systematically analyzed. The results show that the prepared modified anticorona paint exhibits high resistivity and dielectric constant ( ρ = 1.34 × 10 11 Ω·m, ε = 21.1), in addition, due to the high aspect ratio lamellar structure of BNNS, it can be well lapped with the silicon carbide (SiC) particles inside the discharged corona paint to form a thermally conductive channel, and the thermal conductivity of the 10 wt.% 1 μm BN/corona paint is 0.768 W/(m·K), which is higher than that of the original anticorona paint (0.216 W/(m·K)) by 255.5%. Therefore, the BN-modified discharge anticorona paint based on BN has significant potential for application in motor stator wire rods and other high-voltage motor insulation products.
