Abstract:Relying on the electrochemiluminescence (ECL) and microfluidic technology, an immunosensor chip with high bioactivity was designed for sensitive determination of cytokeratin 19 fragment 21–1 (CYFRA 21–1). The mesoporous nanomaterial Fe3O4@Cu@Cu2O as the co-reaction accelerator was used to catalyze the S2O82− to produce more SO4•− to achieve the amplification of the ECL signal. In fact, the generating of SO4•− could not only be done with the aid of the reversible cycles of Fe2+ and Fe3+ and Cu+ and Cu2+, but could be achieved also through the catalase-like function of Fe3O4. What is more, it has also been proved that Fe3O4@Cu@Cu2O exhibited better catalytic performance than single Fe3O4, Cu2O, and Cu@Cu2O, which supported its application in this system. In addition, a portable microfluidic immunosensor chip for CYFRA 21–1-sensitive determination was assembled, which showed high selectivity, sensitivity, and strong universality in clinical cancer screening and diagnosis. It should be noted that HWRGWVC (HWR) was introduced as the antibody fixator to improve the incubation and binding efficiency of the antibody, which increased the ECL intensity and improved the sensitivity of the immunosensor. This strategy provided a new idea for cancer identification and diagnosis in clinical medicine.
A microfluidic electrochemiluminescent device for detecting cancer biomarker proteins

Abstract:We describe an electrochemiluminescence (ECL) immunoarray incorporated into a prototype microfluidic device for highly sensitive protein detection and apply this system to accurate, sensitive measurements of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in serum. The microfluidic system employed three molded polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) channels on a conductive pyrolytic graphite chip (2.5 × 2.5 cm) inserted into a machined chamber and interfaced with a pump, switching valve, and sample injector. Each of the three PDMS channels encompasses three 3 μL analytical wells. Capture-antibody-decorated single-wall carbon nanotube forests are fabricated in the bottom of the wells. The antigen is captured by these antibodies on the well bottoms. Then, a RuBPY-silica-secondary antibody (Ab2) label is injected to bind to antigen on the array, followed by injection of sacrificial reductant tripropylamine (TPrA) to produce ECL. For detection, the chip is placed into an open-top ECL measuring cell, and the channels are in contact with electrolyte in the chamber. Potential applied at 0.95 V versus Ag/AgCl oxidizes TPrA to produce ECL by redox cycling the RuBPY species in the particles, and ECL light is measured by a charge-coupled device camera. This approach achieved ultralow detection limits of 100 fg mL−1 for PSA (9 zeptomole) and 10 fg mL−1 (1 zeptomole) for IL-6 in calf serum, a 10–25-fold improvement of a similar non-microfluidic array. PSA and IL-6 in synthetic cancer patient serum samples were detected in 1.1 h and results correlated well with single-protein enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays.

Abstract:Medical diagnostics is trending towards a more personalized future approach in which multiple tests can be digitized into patient records. In cancer diagnostics, patients can be tested for individual protein and genomic biomarkers that detect cancers at very early stages and also be used to monitor cancer progression or remission during therapy. These data can then be incorporated into patient records that could be easily accessed on a cell phone by a health care professional or the patients themselves on demand. Data on protein biomarkers have a large potential to be measured in point-of-care devices, particularly diagnostic panels that could provide a continually updated, personalized record of a disease like cancer. Electrochemical immunoassays have been popular among protein detection methods due to their inherent high sensitivity and ease of coupling with screen-printed and inkjet-printed electrodes. Integrated chips featuring these kinds of electrodes can be built at low cost and designed for ease of automation. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) features are adopted in most of these ultrasensitive detection systems, with microfluidics allowing easy manipulation and good fluid dynamics to deliver reagents and detect the desired proteins. Several of these ultrasensitive systems have detected biomarker panels ranging from four to eight proteins, which in many cases when a specific cancer is suspected may be sufficient. However, a grand challenge lies in engineering microfluidic-printed electrode devices for the simultaneous detection of larger protein panels (e.g., 50–100) that could be used to test for many types of cancers, as well as other diseases for truly personalized care.
Automated 3D-Printed Microfluidic Array for Rapid Nanomaterial-Enhanced Detection of Multiple Proteins

Abstract:We report here the fabrication and validation of a novel 3D-printed, automated immunoarray to detect multiple proteins with ultralow detection limits. This low cost, miniature immunoarray employs electrochemiluminescent (ECL) detection measured with a CCD camera and employs touch-screen control of a micropump to facilitate automated use. The miniaturized array features prefilled reservoirs to deliver sample and reagents to a paper-thin pyrolytic graphite microwell detection chip to complete sandwich immunoassays. The detection chip achieves high sensitivity by using single-wall carbon nanotube-antibody conjugates in the microwells and employing massively labeled antibody-decorated RuBPY-silica nanoparticles to generate ECL. The total cost of an array is $0.65, and an eight-protein assay can be done in duplicate for $0.14 per protein with limits of detection (LOD) as low as 78-110 fg mL-1 in diluted serum. The electronic control system costs $210 in components. Utility of the automated immunoarray was demonstrated by detecting an eight-protein prostate cancer biomarker panel in human serum samples in 25 min. The system is well suited to future clinical and point-of-care diagnostic testing and could be used in resource-limited environments.

Abstract:Here, we present integrated nanorod arrays on microfluidic chips for fast and sensitive flow-through immunoassays of physiologically relevant macromolecules. Dense arrays of Au nanorods are easily fabricated through one-step oblique angle deposition, which eliminates the requirement of advanced lithography methods. We report the utility of this plasmonic structure to improve the detection limit of the cardiac troponin I (cTnI) assay by over 6 × 10 5 -fold, reaching down to 33.9 fg mL −1 (~1.4 fM), compared with an identical assay on glass substrates. Through monolithic integration with microfluidic elements, the device enables a flow-through assay for quantitative detection of cTnI in the serum with a detection sensitivity of 6.9 pg mL −1 (~0.3 pM) in <6 min, which was 4000 times lower than conventional glass devices. This ultrasensitive detection arises from the large surface area for antibody conjugation and metal-enhanced fluorescent signals through plasmonic nanostructures. Moreover, due to the parallel arrangement of flow paths, simultaneous detection of multiple cancer biomarkers, including prostate-specific antigen and carcinoembryonic antigen, has been fulfilled with increased signal-to-background ratios. Given the high performance of this assay, together with its simple fabrication process that is compatible with standard mass manufacturing techniques, we expect that the prepared integrated nanorod device can bring on-site point-of-care diagnosis closer to reality.

Abstract:Convenient sensor array for simultaneous multi-analyte testing was increasingly needed in clinical diagnosis. A novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) immunosensor array for the sequential detection of multiple tumor markers was developed by site-selectively immobilizing multiple antigens on different electrodes. Disposable indium tin oxide (ITO) glass array was employed as detection platform. With a sandwich-type immunoassay format, the amount of carbon dots coated silica (SiO2@C-dots) labeled antibodies increased with the increment of antigens in the samples. The ECL signal from different immunosensors was collected in turn by a photomultiplier (PMT) with the aid of a home-made potential transformer equiped with a home-made multiplexed-switch. Using carcino embryonic antigen (CEA), prostate specific antigen (PSA) and alpha-fetoprotein (alpha-AFP) as model analytes, the proposed immunoassay exhibited excellent precision and sensitivity. For all three analytes, the relative standard deviations (RSDs) for six times detection were lower than 7.1% and the detection limits were in the range of 0.003-0.006 ng mL(-1). The results for real sample analysis demonstrated that the newly constructed immunosensor array provided a rapid, simple, simultaneous multi-analyte immunoassay with high throughput, cost-effective and sufficiently low detection limits for clinical applications. Importantly, the novel individually addressable immunosensor array for multi-analyte immunoassay by introducing the ECL readout mechanism with the aid of the home-made potential transformer and multiplexed-switch could be a useful supplement to commercial assay methods in clinical chemistry. Abstract:This paper describes a novel on-chip microarray platform based on an electrochemiluminescence resonance energy transfer (ECL-RET) strategy for rapid assay of cancer cell surface biomarkers. This platform consists of 64 antigen-decorated CdS nanorod spots with the diameter of 1.0 cm uniformly distributed on 16 indium tin oxide (ITO) strips, which is coated with a multichannel decorated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) slice to realize multiplexed determination of antigens. To shorten the immune reaction time in the microchannels and simplify the device, magnetic stirring and four-channel universal serial bus (USB) ports for plug-and-play were used. When Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) labeled antibodies were selectively captured by the corresponding antigens on the CdS nanorod spot array, ECL-RET from the CdS nanorod (donor) by cathodic emission in the presence of K(2)S(2)O(8) to Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) (acceptor) occurred. With signal amplification of Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) and competitive immunoassay, carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), α-fetoprotein (AFP), and prostate specific antigen (PSA) as models were detected on this microfluidic device via recording the increased ECL-RET signals on electrode surfaces. Furthermore, this multiplexed competitive immunoassay was successfully used for detecting cancer cell surface antigens via the specific antibody-cell interactions and cell counting via cell surface receptors and antigens on the CdS nanorod surface. This platform provides a rapid and simple but sensitive approach with microliter-level sample volume and holds great promise for multiplexed detection of antigens and antigen-specific cells.

Abstract:A Microfluidic Chip Detection instrument must have a structure with high sensitivity, high signal-to-noise ratio and reaction speed, because that Microfluidic Chips have been designed microchannel construction, also that the instrument has been required to detect extremely low density reagent. The instrument applies Laser Induced Fluorescence(LIF) principle, adopt the confocal theory in detect optical pass. Moreover, the instrument uses electron-multiplier phototube coherent electric circuit (Laser outlet wavelength 473 nm, fluorescent reagent FITC). Furthermore, the instrument has disposed the possible stray light by the way of using special wavelength filter, choosing pinhole with proper diameter, doing some special treatment with all the apartments. On the other hand, six-way high voltage for single controlling and well man-machine interface has also been designed. At the same time, for better SNF, we have also programmed relevant software and designed some useful algorithm. This instrument's low detecting limit can reach 1 nmol/L.
An Alternating Current Electroosmotic Flow-Based Ultrasensitive Electrochemiluminescence Microfluidic System for Ultrafast Monitoring, Detection of Proteins/miRNAs in Unprocessed Samples

Abstract:Early diagnosis of acute diseases is restricted by the sensitivity and complex process of sample treatment. Here, an ultrasensitive, rapid, and portable electrochemiluminescence-microfluidic (ECL-M) system is described via sandwich-type immunoassay and surface plasmonic resonance (SPR) assay. Using a sandwich immunoreaction approach, the ECL-M system employs cardiac troponin-I antigen (cTnI) as a detection model with a Ru@SiO2 NPs labeled antibody as the signal probe. For miR-499-5p detection, gold nanoparticles generate SPR effects to enhance Ru(bpy)3 2+ ECL signals. The system based on alternating current (AC) electroosmotic flow achieves an LOD of 2 fg mL-1 for cTnI in 5 min and 10 aM for miRNAs in 10 min at room temperature. The point-of-care testing (POCT) device demonstrated 100% sensitivity and 98% specificity for cTnI detection in 123 clinical serum samples. For miR-499-5p, it exhibited 100% sensitivity and 97% specificity in 55 clinical serum samples. Continuous monitoring of these biomarkers in rats' saliva, urine, and interstitial fluid samples for 48 hours revealed observations rarely documented in biotic fluids. The ECL-M POCT device stands as a top-performing system for ECL analysis, offering immense potential for ultrasensitive, rapid, highly accurate, and facile detection and monitoring of acute diseases in POC settings.
Biomicrofluidic Lab-On-Chip Device for Cancer Cell Detection

Abstract:A lab-on-a-chip microfluidic device was designed, fabricated, and tested to be used in cancer cell or disease cell detection in body fluids. Mixtures of breast cancer cells MCF-7 and control cells MCF-10A were captured by meandering weir filters in microfluidic channels. A selective fluorescent complex 17β-estradiol-bovine serum albumin-fluorescein isothiocyanate enabled to specifically detect MCF-7 after only 4 min of contact. These signals are about seven times stronger than that of a labeling performed on conventional glass slides following the same protocol. The simple method could have the potential to replace complex existing cancer or disease detection schemes.

Abstract:A simple and sensitive method has been proposed to determine a trace level of α-fetoprotein (AFP), hepatocellular carcinoma biomarker, using poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) microfluidic chips coupled with electrochemical detection system. The PMMA microchannels have been modified with poly(ethyleneimine) (PEI) containing abundant NH2 groups to covalently immobilize AFP monoclonal antibody. Afterward, the antigen AFP and horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated AFP antibody can sequentially bind through antigen–antibody specific interaction. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and confocal fluorescence microscope (CFFM) were utilized to characterize the surface topography and protein immobilization after modification. Coupled with three-electrode electrochemical detection system, the immunochip can perform the detection limit of AFP down to 1pgmL−1, and achieve a detectable linear concentration range of 1–500pgmL−1 by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The on-chip immunoassay platform can not only provide rapid and sensitive detection for target proteins but also be resistant to non-specific adsorption of proteins, which contributes to the detection of low-level protein in real sample. Finally, AFP existing in healthy human serum was detected to demonstrate the utility of the immunochip. The result shows that the proposed approach is feasible and has the potential application in clinical analysis and diagnosis.
Electric Field-Driven Strategy for Multiplexed Detection of Protein Biomarkers Using a Disposable Reagentless Electrochemical Immunosensor Array

Abstract:A fast, simple, sensitive, and low-cost method for electrochemical multianalyte immunoassay was developed by combining newly designed electric field-driven incubation with a screen-printed reagentless immunosensor array. The disposable array was prepared by immobilizing respectively horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled antibodies modified gold nanoparticles in biopolymer/sol-gel modified electrodes to obtain direct electrochemical responses of HRP. Upon the formation of immunocomplexes, the responses decreased due to increasing spatial blocking and impedance. At a driving potential of 0.5 V, the incubation process could be accomplished within 2 min. Under optimal conditions, this method could simultaneously detect carbohydrate antigens 153, 125, and 199 and carcinoembryonic antigens ranging from 0.084 to 16, 0.11 to 13, and 0.16 to 15 U mL(-1) and 0. 16 to 9.2 ng mL(-1) with a detection time of less than 5 min, and the detection limits corresponding to the signals of 3SD were 0.06, 0.03, and 0.10 U mL(-1) and 0.04 ng mL(-1), respectively. The disposable immunosensor array and simple detection system for fast measurement of panels of tumor markers show significant clinical value for application in cancer screening and provide great potential for convenient point-of-care testing and commercial application.
Rare Cell Chemiluminescence Detection Based on Aptamer-Specific Capture in Microfluidic Channels.

Abstract:An aptamer-based "sandwich" approach combined with the chemiluminescence (CL) analysis was developed for the capture and detection of rare cells on a microfluidic chip. Aptamers were immobilized on microfluidic channels to achieve capture and isolation of the specific cells from a cell mixture. The capture efficiency for target cells was more than 70% with the purity greater than 97%, when the content of the target cells was between 0.5% and 10% in the initial cell mixture. Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) modified with aptamers were then added in to bind on the cells and trigger a CL reaction. A satisfactory linearity of the log/log calibration curve between the CL intensity and the number of target cells was observed with a low detection limit of 30 target cells in a 3 μL cell mixture. Spiked whole blood samples were also used to verify the practicality of the present method. This work demonstrated the potential application of the cheap and rapid CL detection into the early diagnosis of cancers.

Abstract:Bioanalytical methods have experienced unprecedented growth in recent years, driven in large part by the need for faster, more sensitive, more portable ("point of care") systems to detect protein biomarkers for clinical diagnosis. Electrochemical detection strategies, used in conjunction with immunosensors, offer advantages because they are fast, simple, and low cost. Recent developments in electrochemical immunosensors have significantly improved the sensitivity needed to detect low concentrations of biomarkers present in early stages of cancer. Moreover, the coupling of electrochemical devices with nanomaterials, such as gold nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes, magnetic particles, and quantum dots, offers multiplexing capability for simultaneous measurements of multiple cancer biomarkers. This review will discuss recent advances in the development of electrochemical immunosensors for the next generation of cancer diagnostics, with an emphasis on opportunities for further improvement in cancer diagnostics and treatment monitoring. Details will be given for strategies to increase sensitivity through multilabel amplification, coupled with high densities of capture molecules on sensor surfaces. Such sensors are capable of detecting a wide range of protein quantities, from nanogram to femtogram (depending on the protein biomarkers of interest), in a single sample.
Visual Electrochemiluminescence Detection of Cancer Biomarkers on A Closed Bipolar Electrode Array Chip

Abstract:This paper describes a novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) imaging platform for simultaneous detection of cancer biomarkers based on a closed bipolar electrode (BPE) array. It consists of two separated channel arrays: detection channel array and sensing channel array, which are connected by a group of parallel ITO BPEs on a glass substrate. Besides, two parallel ITO strips are fabricated at the two sides of BPE array and employed as driving electrodes. After Au films are electrochemically deposited on the cathodes of the BPE array, nanobioprobes including biorecognition elements (aptamer or antibody) and a novel electrochemical tag, which is synthesized by doping thionine in silica nanoparticles (Th@SiO2 NPs), are introduced into the cathodes by immunoreaction or DNA hybridization. The Th@SiO2 coupled nanobioprobes as both recognition probes and signal amplification indicators could mediate the ECL signals of Ru(bpy)3(2+)/tripropylamine (TPA) on the anodes of BPE array through faradaic reaction due to the charge neutrality of BPE. Thus, multiplex detection of cancer biomarkers (adenosine triphosphate (ATP), prostate-specific antigen (PSA), α-fetoprotein (AFP) and thrombin) is realized by forming specific sensing interfaces onto the cathodic poles of BPEs in different sensing channels and reported by the ECL images of the Ru(bpy)3(2+)/TPA system on the anodic poles of BPEs in detection channels. The results demonstrate that this visual ECL platform enables sensitive detection with excellent reproducibility, which may open a new door toward the development of simple, sensitive, cost-effective, and high throughput detection methods on biochips.
Surface Plasmon Coupling Electrochemiluminescence Immunosensor Based on Polymer Dots and AuNPs for Ultrasensitive Detection of Pancreatic Cancer Exosomes

Abstract:Polymer dots (Pdots) have become attractive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) luminophores due to their facile synthesis, easy modification, and stable electrochemical and optical properties. However, their ECL efficiency is not high enough for practical applications. In this work, we proposed an ECL immunosensor based on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) between AuNPs and Pdots for the determination of pancreatic cancer exosomes. Based on the finite-difference time-domain simulations and the band energy of Pdots and AuNPs, we proposed the possible LSPR mechanism. The hot electrons of plasmonic AuNPs were photoexcited to surface plasmon states by ECL emission of Pdots, and then the excited hot electrons were transferred to the conduction band of Pdots, which significantly improved the ECL efficiency of Pdots. The ECL immunosensor displayed a wide calibration range of 1.0 × 103 to 1.0 × 106 particles/mL with a detection limit of 400 particles/mL. Cancer-related protein profiling revealed high selectivity toward different expressions of exosomal surface proteins from PANC-01, HeLa, MCF-7, and HPDE6-C7 cell lines. The proposed ECL system exhibits a promising prospect for protein biomarker profiling and early cancer-related diagnosis.
Microfluidic Immunosensor Platform for Sensitive Detection of Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2 Based on Enhanced Cathode Electrochemiluminescence of Bimetallic Nanoclusters

Abstract:In this work, a microfluidic immunosensor chip was developed by incorporating microfluidic technology with electrochemiluminescence (ECL) for sensitive detection of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2). The immunosensor chip can achieve robust reproducibility in mass production by integrating multiple detection units in a series. Notably, nanoscale materials can be better adapted to microfluidic systems, greatly enhancing the accuracy of the immunosensor chip. Ag@Au NCs closed by glutathione (GSH) were introduced in the ECL microfluidic immunosensor system with excellent and stable ECL performance. The synthesized CeO2-Au was applied as a coreaction promoter in the ECL signal amplification system, which made the result of HER2 detection more reliable. In addition, the designed microfluidic immunosensor chip integrated the biosensing system into a microchip, realizing rapid and accurate detection of HER2 by its high throughput and low usage. The developed short peptide ligand NARKFKG (NRK) achieved an effective connection between the antibody and nanocarrier for improving the detection efficiency of the sensor. The immunosensor chip had better storage stability and sensitivity than traditional detection methods, with a wide detection range from 10 fg·mL-1 to 100 ng·mL-1 and a low detection limit (LOD) of 3.29 fg·mL-1. In general, a microfluidic immunosensor platform was successfully constructed, providing a new idea for breast cancer (BC) clinical detection.

Abstract:Conventional 2-D microarray is known to have high-throughput detection capability; however, the sensing spots density is significantly hindered by the spot-to-spot distance (gap) requirement for eliminating cross-talks between adjacent spots. Herein a new conceptual 3-D microarray device is proposed to significantly improve the spots density. To demonstrate advantages of the 3-D array, a microfabrication-free fluidic immunoassay device is further made by simply coupling an antibodies-arrayed glass cuboid into a circular glass tube. Rapid, sensitive and high-throughput flow-through immunoassays were accomplished with the 3-D array-based device for detection limits of 10-100 pg mL(-1) and wide dynamic range over 4-5 orders of magnitude in human serum with cancer biomarkers α-fetoprotein (AFP) and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) as model targets, holding great promise for practical clinical applications. The 3-D microarray device not only significantly increases the density of sensing spots, but also greatly enhances the mass transport for rapid immunoassay when using in a flow-through device.
Ratiometric Electrochemiluminescence Detection of Circulating Tumor Cells and Cell-Surface Glycans

Abstract:Ultrasensitive quantitative detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and the profile of glycan expression are active and rapidly advancing fields in cancer research. This work designed a dual-potential ratiometric electrochemiluminescence (ECL) system for highly sensitive detection of CTCs and simultaneous evaluation of glycan expression on cell surface. Two kinds of ECL nanoemitters, carbon nitride nanosheets and luminol-reduced gold nanoparticles as cathodic and anodic nanoemitters respectively, were prepared to successfully achieve the dual-potential ratiometric ECL. The carbon nitride nanosheets were decorated with gold nanoparticles to conjugate aptamer for specific capture of CTCs, and the anodic nanoemitters were functionalized with lectin for specific recognition of surface glycans. Using MCF-7 CTCs as model target, the proposed ratiometric ECL sensor exhibited excellent analytical performance with a wide linear detection range and a detection limit down to 2 cells. This method could be further used for profiling the variation of glycans such as N-acetylglucosamine, N-acetylneuraminic acid and mannose on cell surface upon treatment. The proposed strategy realized highly sensitive determination of cell concentration, and accurate analysis of glycan expression on cell surface, showing promising application.
Ultrasensitive detection of gastric cancer biomarkers via a frequency shift-based SERS microfluidic chip

Abstract:Highly sensitive protein biomarker detection is critical for the diagnosis of gastric cancer (GC), however the accurate and sensitive detection of low-abundance proteins in early-stage GC is still a challenge. Herein, a surface-enhanced Raman scattering frequency shift assay was performed on a developed microfluidic chip for the detection of GC protein biomarkers carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). The chip is made up of three groups of parallel channels and each parallel channel consists of two reaction regions, enabling the simultaneous analysis of multiple biomarkers in multiple samples. The presence of CEA and VEGF in the sample can be captured by the 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4-MBA)-conjugated antibody functionalized gold nano-sheet (GNS-) substrate, resulting in the Raman frequency shift. As a result, a typical Raman frequency shift of 4-MBA presented a linear relationship with the concentration of CEA and VEGF. The limit of detection (LOD) of the proposed SERS microfluidic chip reaches as low as 0.38 pg mL-1 for CEA and 0.82 pg mL-1 for VEGF. During the detection process, only one step of sample addition is involved, which eliminates the multiple reaction step-induced nonspecific adsorption and significantly increases the convenience and specificity. In addition, serum samples from GC patients and healthy subjects were tested and the results were in good agreement with the current gold-standard method ELISA, suggesting the potential application of the SERS microfluidic chip in clinical settings for early diagnosis and prognosis of GC.
