Abstract:For a finite dimensional Hopf algebra we show that an associated natural inclusion of infinite crossed products is the crossed product by the Drinfeld double, and that this is a characterisation of the double.

Abstract:The left and right homological integrals are introduced for a large class of infinite dimensional Hopf algebras. Using the homological integrals we prove a version of Maschke's theorem for infinite dimensional Hopf algebras. The generalization of Maschke's theorem and homological integrals are the keys to study noetherian regular Hopf algebras of Gelfand-Kirillov dimension one.

At the end, we give some propertieson the quantum quasi-double, respectively on the quasi-R-isomorphism, the representation-theoretic interpretation andthe regularity of the quasi-R-matrix.

Abstract:Let [Formula: see text] be a Hopf algebroid and [Formula: see text] a left [Formula: see text]-module algebra. In this paper, we mainly present the duality theorem for the smash product [Formula: see text], and making use of integral theory for Hopf algebroids, we investigate the stability of Gorenstein injective pre-envelopes and Gorenstein projective precovers between the category of [Formula: see text]-modules and the category of [Formula: see text]-modules. Moreover, we establish the relationship between Gorenstein global dimension of [Formula: see text] and that of [Formula: see text], and prove that [Formula: see text] has finite representation type, resp. is selfinjective, resp. is CM-finite [Formula: see text]-Gorenstein, if and only if [Formula: see text] has the same property under suitable conditions. As an application, we investigate the representation dimension of the lower triangular matrix Artin algebra [Formula: see text].

Abstract:Let H and its dual H * be finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebras. In this paper, we firstly prove that the derived representation types of an algebra A and the crossed product algebra A # σ H are coincident. This is an improvement of the conclusion about representation type of an algebra in Li and Zhang [Sci China Ser A, 2006, 50: 1–13]. Secondly, we give the relationship between Gorenstein projective modules over A and that over A # σH . Then, using this result, it is proven that A is a finite dimensional CM-finite Gorenstein algebra if and only if so is A # σ H .
Invariant properties of representations under cleft extensions

Abstract:The main aim of this paper is to give the invariant properties of representations of algebras under cleft extensions over a semisimple Hopf algebra. Firstly, we explain the concept of the cleft extension and give a relation between the cleft extension and the crossed product which is the approach we depend upon. Then, by making use of them, we prove that over an algebraically closed field k , for a finite dimensional Hopf algebra H which is semisimple as well as its dual H * , the representation type of an algebra is an invariant property under a finite dimensional H -cleft extension. In the other part, we still show that over an arbitrary field k , the Nakayama property of a k -algebra is also an invariant property under an H -cleft extension when the radical of the algebra is H -stable.

Abstract:We use Hopf algebroids to formulate a notion of a noncommutative and non-cocommutative Hopf 2-algebra. We show how these arise from a bicrossproduct Hopf algebra with Peiffer identities. In particular, we show that for a Hopf algebra $H$ with bijective antipode, the mirror bicrossproduct Hopf algebra $H\triangleright\!\!\!\blacktriangleleft H_{cop}$ is a Hopf 2-algebra. We apply the theorem on Sweedler's Hopf algebra as an example.

Abstract:We develop a general theory of Hopf image of a Hopf algebra representation, with the associated concept of inner faithful representation, modelled on the notion of faithful representation of a discrete group. We study several examples, including group algebras, enveloping algebras of Lie algebras, pointed Hopf algebras, function algebras, twistings and cotwistings, and we present a Tannaka duality formulation of the notion of Hopf image.

Abstract:Let H be a finite dimensional Hopf algebra and A be an algebra over a fixed field k. Firstly, it is proved that the left FP-projective dimension is invariant under cleft extensions when H is semisimple and A is left coherent. Secondly, using (co)induction functors, we study the relations between FP-projective dimensions in A#H-Mod and the counterparts in A(H)-Mod. Finally, we characterize the FP-projective preenvelopes (resp., precovers) under H*-extensions and cleft extensions, respectively.

Abstract:Finite-dimensional Hopf algebras admit a correspondence between so-called pairs in involution, one-dimensional anti-Yetter--Drinfeld modules and algebra isomorphisms between the Drinfeld and anti-Drinfeld double. We extend it to general rigid monoidal categories and provide a monadic interpretation under the assumption that certain coends exist. Hereto we construct and study the anti-Drinfeld double of a Hopf monad. As an application the connection with the pivotality of Drinfeld centres and their underlying categories is discussed.

Abstract:Let D(Rm,n(q)) be the Drinfeld double of Radford Hopf algebra Rm,n(q) and D(Hs,t) be the Drinfeld double of generalized Taft algebra Hs,t. Both D(Rm,n(q)) and D(Hs,t) have very symmetric structures. We calculate all Hopf automorphisms of D(Rm,n(q)) and D(Hs,t), respectively. Furthermore, we prove that the Hopf automorphism group AutHopf(D(Rm,n(q))) is isomorphic to the direct sum Zn⨁Zm of cyclic groups Zm and Zn, the Hopf automorphism group AutHopf(D(Hs,t)) is isomorphic to the semi-direct products k*⋊Zd of multiplicative group k* and cyclic group Zd, where s=td,k*=k∖{0}, and k is an algebraically closed field with char(k)∤t.

Abstract:Let H be a Hopf algebra over a base field. If H has an ℕ-filtration such that the associated graded ring is connected graded noetherian and has enough normal elements, then H is Gorenstein. This gives a partial solution to a question of Brown and Brown-Goodearl. As a consequence, every quotient Hopf algebra of a generic quantized coordinate ring of a connected semisimple Lie group is Auslander-Gorenstein and Cohen-Macaulay. The last statement answers a question of Goodearl-Zhang.

Abstract:We study the Heisenberg double and the Drinfeld double of the $\mathbb{Z}_2$-graded Hopf algebras. To present the constructions, we consider in detail the Borel half of $U_q(sl(2))$ and two super Hopf algebra examples: the Borel half of $U_q(osp(1|2))$ and the Borel half of $U_q(gl(1|1))$ for $q$ being a root of unity. We prove an isomorphism between the graded Heisenberg doubles and the handle algebras in the context of the $\mathbb{Z}_2$-graded generalisation of Alekseev-Schomerus combinatorial quantisation of Chern-Simons theory and illustrate it on the example of the Heisenberg double of the full $U_q(gl(1|1))$ Hopf algebra.

Abstract:In this paper, we define the notion of Hopf crossed square for cocommutative Hopf algebras extending the notions of crossed squares of groups and of Lie algebras. We prove the equivalence between the category of Hopf crossed squares and the category of double internal groupoids in the category of cocommutative Hopf algebras. The Hopf crossed squares turn out to be the internal crossed modules in the category of crossed modules in the category of cocommutative Hopf algebras.

On the Drinfeld double of the restricted Jordan plane in characteristic $2$

Abstract:We consider the restricted Jordan plane in characteristic $2$, a finite-dimensional Nichols algebra quotient of the Jordan plane that was introduced by Cibils, Lauve and Witherspoon. We extend results from \texttt{<a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="2002.02514" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/2002.02514">arXiv:2002.02514</a>} on the analogous object in odd characteristic. We show that the Drinfeld double of the restricted Jordan plane fits into an exact sequence of Hopf algebras whose kernel is a normal local commutative Hopf subalgebra and the cokernel is the restricted enveloping algebra of a restricted Lie algebra $\mathfrak m$ of dimension 5. We show that $\mathfrak u(\mathfrak m)$ is tame and compute explicitly the indecomposable modules. An infinite-dimensional Hopf algebra covering the Drinfeld double of the restricted Jordan plane is introduced. Various quantum Frobenius maps are described.

Abstract:Hopf crossed products, or in other words, cleft comodule algebras form a special but important class in Hopf-Galois extensions. To discuss this interesting subject, we will start with the more familiar group crossed products, and then see that they are naturally generalized by Hopf crossed products; these Hopf crossed products are characterized as Hopf-Galois extensions with normal basis. After showing this characterization due to Doi and Takeuchi, we will proceed to two applications of Hopf crossed products---the equivariant smoothness of Hopf algebras, and the tensor product decomposition in super-commutative Hopf superalgebras.

Abstract:We study Hopf Galois extensions of Hopf algebroids as a generalization of the theory for Hopf algebras. More precisely, we introduce (skew-)regular comodules and generalize the structure theorem for relative Hopf modules. Also, we show that if $N\subseteq P$ is a left $\mathcal{L}$-Galois extension and $\Gamma$ is a 2-cocycle of $\mathcal{L}$, then for the twisted comodule algebra ${}_{\Gamma}P$, $N\subseteq{}_{\Gamma}P$ is a left Hopf Galois extension of the twisted Hopf algebroid $\mathcal{L}^{\Gamma}$. We study twisted Drinfeld doubles of Hopf algebroids as examples for the Drinfeld twist theory. Finally, we introduce cleft extension and $\sigma$-twisted crossed products of Hopf algebroids. Moreover, we show the equivalence of cleft extensions, $\sigma$-twisted crossed products, and Hopf Galois extensions with normal basis properties, which generalize the theory of cleft extensions of Hopf algebras.

Representations of Drinfeld Doubles of Radford Hopf algebras

Abstract:In this article, we investigate the representations of the Drinfeld doubles $D(R_{mn}(q))$ of the Radford Hopf algebras $R_{mn}(q)$ over an algebraically closed field $\Bbbk$, where $m>1$ and $n>1$ are integers and $q\in\Bbbk$ is a root of unity of order $n$. Under the assumption ${\rm char}(\Bbbk)\nmid mn$, all the finite dimensional indecomposable modules over $D(R_{mn}(q))$ are displayed and classified up to isomorphism. The Auslander-Reiten sequences in the category of finite dimensional $D(R_{mn}(q))$-modules are also all displayed. It is shown that $D(R_{mn}(q))$ is of tame representation type.

Abstract:We study Doi-Hopf data and Doi-Hopf modules for Hopf group-coalgebras. We introduce modules graded by a discrete Doi-Hopf datum; to a Doi-Hopf datum over a Hopf group coalgebra, we associate an algebra graded by the underlying discrete Doi-Hopf datum, using a smash product type construction. The category of Doi-Hopf modules is then isomorphic to the category of graded modules over this algebra. This is applied to the category of Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a Hopf group coalgebra, leading to the construction of the Drinfeld double. It is shown that this Drinfeld double is a quasitriangular graded Hopf algebra.

Abstract:We construct a Hopf action, with an invariant trace, of a bicrossed product Hopf algebra $\cH=\big( \cU(\Fg_1) \acr \cR(G_2) \big)^{\cop}$ constructed from a matched pair of Lie groups $G_1$ and $G_2$, on a convolution algebra $\cA=C_c^{\ify}(G_1)\rtimes G_2^{\delta}$. We give an explicit way to construct Hopf cyclic cohomology classes of our Hopf algebra $\cH$ and then realize these classes in terms of explicit representative cocycles in the cyclic cohomology of the convolution algebra $\cA$.
