Abstract:To improve the hardness,wear resistance and service life of shearer picks,the laser cladding repair technology which coats a alloy wear-resistant layer on the end of shearer picks was used,and compare with the commonly used method of obtaining the shearer picks' wear-resistant layer.The conclusion has important directive significance and reference value for the research of shearer picks wear layer technology and accelerating to achieve saving and recycling economy of the mining equipments.
