Abstract:Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a complex and demanding process within business operations, facilitating the movement of goods and products across various geographical locations. In supply chain management, ensuring the authenticity and quality of these products is paramount, as customers expect them to arrive in the same condition as when they were dispatched. However, this issue becomes even more critical in the healthcare sector, where challenges such as counterfeit, contaminated, or mishandled drugs persist due to inadequate quality control processes. To address these challenges, cutting-edge technologies like solidity-based Ethereum smart contracts are employed. The Event Logs feature of Ethereum's smart contract functionality is utilized to trace and analyze transactions for privacy and quality assurance in smart healthcare. This article introduces a novel Blockchain-enabled Healthcare Supply Chain Management (BeHSCM) architecture, designed for real-time tracking and secure management of healthcare products and transactions. The proposed architecture utilizes blockchain technology (BCT) to regularly verify stakeholders' roles, ensuring the authenticity of drugs. Additionally, cryptographic algorithms such as zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) and Keccak-256 are integrated with state-of-the-art BCT to enhance security. Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed model, surpassing existing solutions in terms of both efficiency and effectiveness.
