Study on the Microwave Extraction of the Flavonoids from Ligustrum lucidum Ait

Abstract:Objective To extract the flavonoids from the Ligustrum lucidum Ait with a new method of microwave extraction.Methods Parallel,orthogonal and comparative tests were used under different extraction conditions.Results The optimal conditions were as follows:raw material 0.500 g Ligustrum lucidum Ait dry dry powder,the extraction agent 45%(v/v) alcohol solution,the ratio of raw material to extraction agent 1:50(g:ml),the microwave power 464 W,and the extraction time 300 s for three times.Conclusion Compared with solvent extraction,microwave extraction reduced the extraction time from 24 h to 300 s and increased extraction rate from 61.39% to 83.45%.
