Abstract:Diffuse infiltrative lower-grade gliomas (LGGs), classified as World Health Organization (WHO) grade II and III tumors, are primary malignant brain tumors that most commonly occur in adults, accounting for 20% of all malignant primary central nervous system tumors.<a class="link link-ref link-reveal xref-bibr" href="">1</a> While LGGs are characterized by their relatively indolent nature,<a class="link link-ref link-reveal xref-bibr" href="">2</a>,<a class="link link-ref link-reveal xref-bibr" href="">3</a> maximizing the extent of resection (EOR) is often limited due to their infiltrative nature and propensity for dispersal. Postoperative residue will inevitably lead to tumor recurrence and malignant transformation, which results in functional deficit and ultimately death.<a class="link link-ref link-reveal xref-bibr" href="">4-6</a>
