Abstract:Generally, stochastic functional differential equations (SFDEs) pose a challenge as they often lack explicit exact solutions. Consequently, it becomes necessary to seek certain favorable conditions under which numerical solutions can converge towards the exact solutions. This article aims to delve into the convergence analysis of solutions for stochastic functional differential equations by employing the framework of G-Brownian motion. To establish the goal, we find a set of useful monotone type conditions and work within the space Cr((−∞,0];Rn). The investigation conducted in this article confirms the mean square boundedness of solutions. Furthermore, this study enables us to compute both LG2 and exponential estimates.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
This paper discusses the convergence and boundedness of the solutions to stochastic functional differential equations (SFDEs) in the G-framework. The author utilizes G-Brownian motion theory and introduces a set of useful monotonicity-type conditions, working in the space Cr((−∞, 0];Rn). The main objective of the paper is to prove the square mean boundedness of the solutions as well as L2_G and exponential estimates. In SFDEs, favorable conditions are typically sought after to ensure the convergence of numerical solutions towards exact solutions, given the lack of explicit exact solutions. The inequalities (3)-(5) introduced in the paper provide a method of analyzing the convergence of the solutions. Through these inequalities, the author is able to demonstrate that under certain conditions, the solutions of SFDEs are square mean bounded and facilitate calculations of L2_G and exponential estimates. The paper is divided into several sections, including fundamental concepts and results, some useful results, square mean boundedness and convergence, and exponential estimates. The author also proves that two different solutions converge to the same solution and provides exponential estimates for the solutions, indicating exponential stability of the second moment of the solutions. Overall, this paper makes contributions to the theoretical analysis of SFDEs in the G-framework, deepening our understanding of the role of the G-framework in stochastic analysis, and providing new tools for dealing with such equations.
