Abstract:In this paper,the experiment was layed out with 1692 wheat varieties which were provided by Institute of Crop Germplam Resources of Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.Its agronomic characters were investigated.The result demonstrated that the coefficients of variability of plant height,spike length,kernels per spike and 1000-grain weight were all beyond 14.7%;some elite wheat resources of desirable characters were selected,including 195 resources with early-maturity,66 resources with short-height,36 resources with big spike,22 resources with much-kernel per spike and 44 resources with big grain.
