Abstract:In the Industrial Age that humanity has entered long time ago with steam series has caused to primitive mechanization in production. With the development of internet and mobile technologies, electronics, nano technology, advances in medicine, health and digital applications and so on speed up mechatronics studies nowadays. Last World Economic Forum holds an important place on the agenda of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and the economists like Roubini, Stiglitz also entered in the discussion of robotics and artificial in intelligence impacts on economics and business. Although Stephen Hawking criticized on the risks in this regard, every day we are witnessing tremendous news and articles in business pages, regarding on these topics and obviously corporate life and professionals can no longer resist to these changes. Changing form of the business terms and work forces, the way of doing business by using new technologies will have serious impacts on the daily business life and deriving from these on countries and on world economics. Many items and headlines such as jobless ratio, Philips Curve, performance, management, CRM Analytics, customer relationship management, sales, strategic planning, mass production, Purchasing Power Parity, GDP, inflation, money, Central Banks, Banking System, coaching, training, accounting, taxes etc. regarding to business and economics will face serious dangers, hits, change, exposures as well as opportunities and gains with the improvements in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. One simple example can explain the degree of these impacts: Should we continue to make provisions for severance pay of the company's staff or should we calculate reserve for depreciation / amortization of robots in the company, which side of the balance sheet will be managed by human resources managers or shall we still name human resources ? This conceptual and hypothetical paper is aiming to address and discusses the future of robots, mechatronics and artificial intelligence in different perspectives.

Abstract:The rapid development of information and communication technology has an impact on economic growth that is increasingly varied. Economic stability is a basic prerequisite for achieving improvements in people's welfare through high growth and improved growth quality. In line with that, technological progress also has a significant impact on the dynamics of the labor market. The labor market has a mutual relationship between companies and labor. If developing countries want to achieve higher economic development, they must increase trade and physical capital with a stable macroeconomic environment. But on the other hand, technology automatically leads to a decrease in employment and wages. This changes the relative demand for jobs.

Abstract:By increasing the ability to discover, access, and use academic journal articles, the Internet has become the dominant mode by which scholars stay abreast of the scholarly literature. This new technology is hypothesized to have impacted the referencing pattern as well as the research productivity of scholars. These hypotheses are tested in the area of economics using a natural experiment of access to the JSTOR article archiving service. We find evidence that access to journals available through JSTOR leads economists to refer more to JSTOR journals at the expense of non-JSTOR journals, that is, JSTOR access induces substitution away from journals not available in the JSTOR archive. Furthermore, JSTOR access increases the quantity, if not quality, of economic research generated at an institution. From this accumulated evidence, we deduce that Information and Communication Technology has the potential to not only increase productivity, but by increasing research productivity, can also increase the rate of economic growth.

In this article we provide an overviewof existing evidence on the extent to which, and how, internet connectivity affects economicdevelopment. Not surprisingly, estimates vary widely with the context, particular outcome, andform of internet studied. Overall the literature points towards sizeable economic impacts inmany—though not all— settings.

Abstract:Robots and artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming work across many industries, and it is important to evaluate the impact of these technologies on employment, productivity, and the overall economy. While automation and AI have clear benefits such as efficiency, lower costs, and greater accuracy, these technological advances pose challenges, such as loss of jobs, skills mismatch, and economic inequality. This paper will examine how different sectors are being impacted, considering the potential for new job creation in emerging fields, and discuss the need for reskilling and training to prepare the workforce for the future. Throughout history, technological advancements have had a dual-edged effect. While such advancements have enhanced and benefited us, they have also brought about unforeseen issues that sometimes are rectified, and at other times require urgent strategic policy measures. The global economy and future of work are expected to be more automated, but only if we strategize and take policy measures to achieve a “just” transition. Abstract:After reviewing the state of digitalization---the use of digital information technology (IT) throughout the economy---we consider the slippery concept of a distinct digital economy and efforts to record it in national accounts. We then anchor the digital economy in a growth accounting framework, augmenting the conventional measure of the IT contribution to productivity---innovation in the production of IT capital plus labor-saving use of IT throughout the economy---with the contribution from the digital platforms that help users navigate the sprawling information landscape. We discuss the difficult measurement issues that thwart a full accounting of the scope and productivity of the digital economy remain. These include quantifying the intangible assets created by platforms and their users, measuring the consumption of intangible services provided by platforms---often provided for free---and identifying platforms within the existing statistical system, which does not treat their activity as a distinct industry.

Abstract:China's digital economy experienced a rapid development over the past two decades. How can we systematically measure the contribution of the digital economy to China's economic growth? Has the digital economy contributed to an increase in China's total factor productivity? This paper analyzes the impact of the information and communication technology (ICT) development on China's economic growth since its WTO accession in an aggregate production possibility frontier framework. Our empirical analysis shows that the digital economy has been the most significant contributor to China's economic growth and productivity improvements over the past two decades. Nevertheless, due to severe capital misallocation across industries and persistent inefficient performance of some non-la industries, industries with high investment growth have not been matched by industries with high TFP growth.

Abstract:This paper aims to empirically examine the impact of high-technology trade on employment. A dynamic labour demand equation is employed to investigate the impact of high-tech trade on employment in 20 high-tech exporting countries. Using data from 2007 to 2016, this study highlights some evidence on the negative relationship between high-tech trade and employment. This paper argues the development towards high-tech trade should be accompanied by appropriate policy measures to lessen the employment effect and to ensure the benefit of growth is well-distributed among all segments of the labour market.

Abstract:The transition of this country from an industrial society to the service and even information society has gained particular attention. It is surely microelectronics that has driven forward this process of change. More precisely speaking, a revolutionary change has been brought about by the development in both electronics and mechanics. A deluge of technological innovations, such as other technological inventions that have emerged before, has resulted in new products and industries and increased productivity. Industrial robots and other forms of microcomputer-controled machinery have already been introduced into many sectors. Particularly microelectronic technology has a character of labor saving in its applications.We may be able to call the more radical changes since 1980's the “information revolution”. Information revolution means the emergence of societies in which information is worth more than matter and energy. This revolution has extensively developed with a combination between products of information-goods and the formation of an information-network. The CAD / CAM system in factories and the online system in offices has controlled the production line and removed skilled workers from their jobs. Skilled jobs have split into those that are monotonous and intelligent, therefore occupations have also spilt into high and low. Getting positions whether man can find a high social position depends on his school and vocational education. The information revolution has made educational policies a main issue in official debates.New production styles based on information technology are more “flexible” to demands and its products are more “soft”. Transition of this product in style from massproduction to “many kinds-small scale” production depends on trends and changes in comsunption. Quality of consumer's goods have been electronically altered by incorporated microcomputers. Information technology has an impact not only on the work organization, but also on the quality of life.

Abstract:Technological innovation is a fundamental driver of economic growth and human progress. Yet some critics want to deny the vast benefits that innovation has bestowed and continues to bestow on mankind. To inform policy discussions and address the technology critics’ concerns, this paper summarizes relevant literature documenting the impact of technological innovation on economic growth and, more broadly, on living standards and human well-being. The historical record is unambiguous regarding how ongoing innovation has improved the way we live; however, the short-term disruptive aspects of technological change are real and deserve attention as well. The paper concludes with an extended discussion about the relevance of these findings for shaping cultural attitudes toward technology and the role that public policy can play in fostering innovation, growth, and ongoing improvements in the quality of life of citizens.

Abstract:This article examines the impact of computer technology on the workforce and workplace. It summarizes research and examines in practice the implementation and adoption of new technology in companies. Two cases are presented: a metal fabrication factory and a professional publishing company. Results of a pre‐implementation survey given to personnel in the factory highlight how a top‐down change strategy and worker's sense of mistrust and inequity, led to problems with the introduction of computerized machinery and control systems. Surveys taken one and three years after the introduction of word processing and data‐based management tools in the publishing company, by comparison, show how a more participatory change strategy coupled with extensive user training and support, contribute to success with technological change and alter perceptions of the company culture.

Abstract:The impact of industrial robot development on the economy has long been a subject of keen interest. This research aims to explore the role of industrial robots in the Chinese economy and the factors influencing their impact. This is achieved through an analysis of the scale of the industrial robot market, its applications, the localization process, and its effects on employment and production efficiency. In the course of this study, we review the rapid growth of the Chinese manufacturing sector and the increasing adoption of industrial robots. With technological advancements, industrial robots have achieved significant milestones in fields such as automobile manufacturing and electronics production. Subsequently, this paper delves into the repercussions of industrial robots on the Chinese economy. Data indicates that the widespread use of industrial robots has significantly enhanced production efficiency, lowered production costs, and improved product quality. Furthermore, the paper scrutinizes the progress of domestication in the industrial robot sector, highlighting China's positive strides in enhancing its capacity for independent research and development, as well as manufacturing. Consequently, the rapid development of industrial robots has exerted a multifaceted impact on the Chinese economy, fostering both production efficiency and industrial upgrading, while also giving rise to a series of employment and societal issues. In the future, China should continue to intensify its efforts in technological innovation and talent development to better address the challenges and opportunities arising from the development of industrial robots, thereby promoting sustained and healthy economic growth.

However, AI also presents challenges such as ethical concerns, potential job displacement, and privacy risks. Abstract:Abstract In today's rapidly evolving technological era, high-tech trade is not just a part of international commerce but a key factor that shapes the economic landscapes of nations. The objective of this paper is to analyze how technological innovation, as represented by high-tech exports, contributes to economic growth and to identify the disparities in economic progress among countries with different levels of integration into the global high-tech market. This paper focuses on the importance of high-technology trade in economic development. Specifically, it aims to establish a connection between technology-intensive exports and Gross Domestic Product in three major global economies: China, the United States, and the European Union. The study's empirical evidence strongly supports a notable association between high-technology exports and the growth of gross domestic product, thereby reaffirming the crucial role of technological trade in enhancing economic development. Furthermore, the analysis provides additional insight by highlighting those economies with extensive involvement in the global high-technology market experience superior economic growth. This underscores the vital significance of technological innovation and trade integration in attaining a competitive advantage in the global economic landscape. This study adds to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence of the economic consequences of technology trade, highlighting the need for policy frameworks that encourage innovation and integration into the global high-technology market.

Abstract:The adoption of health information and communication technology (HICT) has surged over the past two decades. We survey the medical and economic literature on HICT adoption and its impact on clinical outcomes, productivity, and the health care workforce. We find that HICT improves clinical outcomes and lowers health care costs; however, ( a) the effects are modest so far, ( b) it takes time for these effects to materialize, and ( c ) there is much variation in the impact. More evidence on the causal effects of HICT on productivity is needed to improve our analytical understanding and to guide further adoption. There is little econometric work directly investigating the impact of HICT on labor market outcomes, but the existing literature suggests that there are no substantial negative effects on employment and earnings. Overall, although health care is in many ways exceptional, we are struck by the similarities of our conclusions to the wider findings on the relationship between productivity and information and communication technologies, which stress the importance of complementary factors (e.g., management and skills) in determining the impact of these new technologies. Abstract:Digital transformation, both omnipresent and influential, has deeply impacted various sectors with a particular focus on the economy. The introduction and adoption of tools that facilitate technological changes and online business practices have emerged as game changers. They have endowed corporations with enhanced internal agility and improved employee communications. Online business, with its vast potential, is becoming increasingly crucial in developing countries, where Internet accessibility is steadily growing. This study explores the impact of e-commerce on company productivity by considering both formal and informal sectors. It leverages data from the 2018 General Business Census of Togo. By applying endogenous switching regression and smoothed instrumental variable quantile regression tools, this study demonstrates that online businesses can significantly increase productivity, particularly in firms within the informal sector. However, this finding highlights the potential risk of job loss. This study concludes that support strategies are essential for promoting the integration of online companies, increasing productivity, and protecting jobs.
