Abstract:The thesis starts with the background of computing education in today's K-12 education development, and then compares Chinese and American computer science K12 education based on frameworks and curriculum standards. The authors compared the framework design of computer science K-12 education in two countries from the perspectives of concept definition, structure, content, etc. To compare the curriculum design standards, the authors selected from the content, curriculum structure, curriculum implementation, curriculum teaching evaluation of curriculum and in-depth analysis and discussion were conducted from this perspective. The thesis summarizes the enlightenment of current Chinese education researchers on American K-12 computing education to Chinese education, and puts forward the author's own views.

Abstract:With globalization increasingly define the world, international students are undertaking an important agentic role in terms of communicating different cultures. Therefore, their experiences are significant in revealing the pedagogic practices between different country settings. This article attempts to compare pedagogic practices between the UK and China by examining their cultural origins and the potential connections with pedagogical assumptions, placing on a spectrum of teacher/learner-centered pedagogy. Combining with the perspective of Chinese international students who have been studying in the UK, it captures the lived experiences of the actual classroom differences experienced by these students. It concludes with each pedagogy has its benefits and drawbacks respectively, and has its cultural fits, therefore, it is not possible for one particular educational system to completely 'borrow' pedagogic practice.

Abstract:There are commonalities in the management mechanism of primary school pre service teacher selection among China, Japan, and South Korea, but the emphasis on selection standards, procedures, and methods is different. Based on comprehensive comparative analysis, China should improve the enrollment system for primary education majors and strengthen the overall quality and moral examination of teachers beyond the general cultural examination; reasonably arrange the educational internship time for primary school education majors, improve the content of educational internships, and incorporate the evaluation of educational internships into teacher appointment standards; improve the content and evaluation methods of China's primary school teacher qualification examination, and correctly play the guiding function of China's primary school teacher qualification examination. Based on the actual situation of teacher education in our country, we should continuously improve teacher appointment assessment and increase the autonomy of primary schools in teacher appointment.

Abstract:Teacher education curriculums in the United States,Britain and Australia are different and distinctive.Teacher education curriculum in the United States are mainly focused on teachers' specialization,while Britain on qualified teachers' standardization and in Australia teacher education curriculum pays more attention to professional practice's experience.At the same time,three developed countries also show some common features in their teacher education curriculum,including the design of open flexible curriculum modules,the reinforce of connection between schools and colleges,the development of practical courses and the cultivation of students' practical abilities.Three countries' teacher education curriculums are designed to fit in with the new requirement of education development and the worldwide trend of teacher education reform.They reflect the higher level of research on teacher education curriculum.

Abstract:Objective In order to summarize the common characters of medical education , this research Compared curricula and educational reformation of different counties .The common characters of international medical educa-tion are useful to China's current medical education reformation .Methods This research used method of compara-tive education study to compare the medical education of the U .S, the U.K and Japan.Results Although the medical education program length is different in the 3 countries, they all recognize medical education as professional education .So they all adopt muti-method to test candidates .The curriculum frameworks of medical education pro-gram of 3 countries are different , but the curriculum organization , teaching methodologies , assessment methods are similar.They all have complete quality control system .As the medical education reformation , about half of medical schools in the U .K and Japan have implemented graduate entered medical education program .Conclusions Al-though medical education program length is different in the U .S, the U.K and Japan, they do share some charac-ters.These common characters are useful to medical education reformation and quality control in China .

Abstract:Due to the national conditions and historical background, China and the United Kingdom have many differences in education systems. Education system in China is mainly centered by teachers, emphasizing the leadership status of educators and paying attention to the basic knowledge with strict rules. British education system focuses on students' practice based on their own exploration with interest, paying attention to personality cultivation and advocating innovation ability. With the rapid development of international education, various problems in the process of education development in China and the United Kingdom gradually emerge. This paper mainly discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the general high schools education in China and the United Kingdom by comparison. Among them, the diversification of general high school education has the greatest impact on the current development of education, and effective measures need to be taken to improve it. Although there are many differences between China and the United Kingdom in both the concept and the mechanism of their education system, their same goal is to improve personal and social development. The two countries can complement each other's strengths and further improve education reform according to the comparison.

Abstract:In recent years, with the increasing influence of international Chinese education, some Chinese language teachers have also begun to engage in the work of international Chinese teachers. To address the various issues that may arise when Chinese language teachers transition to international Chinese teachers, this study adopts a case-comparison method. It involves interviewing both Chinese language teachers and international Chinese teachers, observing and evaluating their teaching, and then processing and analyzing the data. Based on the findings, the study provides insights and suggestions for teachers before and after taking up their international teaching positions, which are of positive significance for the construction of the team of international Chinese teachers.

Abstract:English holds significant importance as a foreign language in Mainland China and Hong Kong, where ongoing curriculum revisions are shaped by economic and sociocultural advancements. Previous research on English Language Teaching (ELT) curriculum comparisons in Asia has frequently overlooked the exploration of underlying sociocultural and socio-political factors that contribute to the observed similarities and differences. Adopting a governmentality Perspective informed by Dean's analytics of government theory, this cross-cultural comparative study investigates the ELT curricula in senior secondary schools in Mainland China and Hong Kong. Through this analysis, the study explores how sociocultural and socio-political factors interact to influence the educational landscapes. By examining the dimensions of problematizations, rationalities, techne, and teleology within the curricula, the research uncovers common challenges, rationales, approaches, and objectives, as well as distinctions arising from the unique sociocultural, political, and economic contexts of Mainland China and Hong Kong. This examination underscores the profound impact of these contextual factors on ELT curriculum design, contributing valuable insights to the cross-cultural discourse. Furthermore, the findings lay the groundwork for future research and policy development in the realm of ELT curricula, emphasizing the need for additional studies employing diverse methods and focusing on the implemented and experienced curriculum in senior secondary schools to provide a comprehensive understanding of English language education in both Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Achieving Education for All: A Comparative Study of Educating Disabled Children in the UK and China

Abstract:Educating disabled children is a vital part to reach universal education, as well as social equality and justice. This study conducts a comparative analysis of inclusive education policy practices for disabled children in the UK and China. The research investigates the policies employed in both countries to provide equitable educational opportunities for disabled students. Key similarities and differences in the two systems are identified, involving how cultural, societal, and policy factors influence the design and effectiveness of inclusive education. The research findings indicate that while the UK emphasizes inclusive practices and individualized support, China focuses on integration within mainstream classrooms. Challenges were observed in both systems, including a lack of professional training and teacher resources. By comparing and evaluating successful strategies, though from the lens of human development, students in China may benefit more from the UK’s inclusive policy, however, policy needs to be localized to combat country-specific barriers such as low social acceptance. This research contributes to the global discourse on inclusive education, facilitating cross-cultural learning and policy enrichment to ensure all children regardless of disability receive an equitable and quality education.

Abstract:By introducing related theories and process of physical education teacher cultivation in Germany,and by comparing related specialized curriculums set up by German Cologne Institute of Physical Education and Beijing University of Physical Education,the author made a specific comparative study of physical education teacher culti-vation in China and Germany,pointed out that the two countries have something in common in physical education teacher cultivation,namely,capacity requirements for physical education teachers and "three-stage cultivation sys-tem",and something different in specialized theoretical curriculum,education science curriculum and the degree of recognition of the practice stage,then analyzed factors that cause the differences,and concluded that the causes for these differences include such factors as social economic conditions,cultural education tradition,degree of sports development,and recognition of the career of physical education teachers,of the two countries.

Abstract:In modern society, education belongs to a highly developed stage, and Chinas education is also constantly developing and improving. High school education in China has always been a focus of social concern, and so far, exam-oriented education still dominates high school education. Compared with the secondary education in the UK, there are significant differences in the types of high school education in China, as well as in the educational models and historical backgrounds of development. In China, high school education has developed over a comparatively short span of time, and through comparison, it was found that there are some problems in current high school education. In order to change the current situation of high school education in China, the Chinese government has proposed the concept of quality education and the dual reduction policy, which requires continuous efforts to ultimately be implemented. Teachers need to change teaching methods, improve teaching concepts, promote and help students increase confidence, enhance cooperation and innovation abilities. Students should also make independent changes, diverge their thinking, use dialectical methods to see problems, and think about multiple aspects of the problem, in order to improve their logical thinking ability and innovative cooperation ability, and maintain a positive attitude towards learning.

Abstract:With the development of global internationalization,Chinese universities are chasing world-class universities in internationalization of curriculum (IOC) in spite of their dramatic improvements. This paper conducts a compara-tive study of IOC in two top universities in China and the UK based on staff investigations and reveals significant differences between the two institutions. In understanding the concept of IOC,the Chinese university adopted a develo-ping-country angle with strong academically-driven and plutonomically-oriented incentives while the British universi-ty adopted a developed-country angle with apparent economically-driven and humanistically-oriented incentives. In strategies of IOC,the Chinese university was less mature and diversified than the British university with inadequate em-phasis on planning,administration,implementation,and innovation.

Abstract:In this comparative self-study, two English teachers, one English as a foreign language (EFL) teacher from China and one English language arts (ELA) teacher in the United States, examined their perceptions of English language learning and instruction.Through a set of documents, i.e., reflective teaching journals, written teaching philosophies, and peer interviews and talks, the narrative study explored and revealed the two teachers' perceptions of English learning process as a learner, English teaching process as a teacher, and how these experiences informed and affected their doctoral practices.Through their reflections on their examined experiences, the study found that the two teachers both used a theoretical lens of social constructivism

Abstract:The modernization of Chinese-style education calls for a high-quality teaching force, and in the field of pre-school education, the proportion of teachers with postgraduate qualifications is still on the low side, so it is urgent to improve the construction of high-quality teachers in pre-school education. This study takes the policy documents, professional standards, teacher training and other textual materials of early childhood teacher team building in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States as the research object, and summarizes the unique cultivation methods of each country through the literature research method, textual analysis method and comparative research method. In the United Kingdom, different levels of qualifications for early childhood teachers are divided; in New Zealand, a complete system for the implementation of induction education is in place; and in the United States, a multilevel system of professional standards and teacher training for teachers is in place. By exploring the successful experiences of various countries, this paper provides experience for the construction of China s postgraduate educated early childhood teacher team, which in turn stabilizes the teacher team and improves the overall quality of preschool education.
