Abstract:We prove a version of Koszul duality and the induced derived equivalence for Adams connected -algebras that generalizes the classical Beilinson-Ginzburg-Soergel Koszul duality. As an immediate consequence, we give a version of the Bernšte {\uı} n-Gel'fand-Gel'fand correspondence for Adams connected -algebras.We give various applications. For example, a connected graded algebra is Artin-Schelter regular if and only if its Ext-algebra $\Ext^\ast_A (k, k) $ is Frobenius. This generalizes a result of Smith in the Koszul case. If is Koszul and if both and its Koszul dual are noetherian satisfying a polynomial identity, then is Gorenstein if and only if is. The last statement implies that a certain Calabi-Yau property is preserved under Koszul duality.

Derived equivalence of algebras induced by their trivial extensions

Abstract:The bounded derived category of a finite dimensional algebra of finite global dimension is equivalent the stable category of $\mathbb{Z}$-graded modules over its trivial extension \cite{Happel}. In particular, given two derived equivalent finite dimensional algebras $\Lambda_{1}$ and $\Lambda_{2}$ of finite global dimension, their trivial extensions are stable equivalent. The converse is not true in general. The goal of this paper is to study cases where derived equivalences between $\Lambda_{1}$ and $\Lambda_{2}$ arise from an equivalence of categories involving their trivial extension. Thanks to a graded version of Happel's theorem, we show that one can construct a $\mathbb{Z}$-grading on the $\Lambda_{i}$ so that such an equivalence involving their trivial extension yield a derived equivalence between the category of $\mathbb{Z}$-graded module over $\Lambda_{i}$. We describe explicitly the tilting object associated to this derived equivalence (in the non-graded and in the graded case) for triangular matrix algebras. Finally, we apply these results to the particular case of gentle algebras. In this context, we study how one can obtain a derived equivalence between $\Lambda_{1}$ and $\Lambda_{2}$ (in the non-graded and the graded case) from graded generalized Kauer moves.

Abstract:In this paper, assume that $ H $ is a Hopf algebra and $ A/B $ is an $ H $-Galois extension. Firstly, by introducing the concept of an $ H $-stable tilting complex $ T_{\bullet} $ over $ B $, we show that $ T_{\bullet}\otimes_BA $ is a tilting complex over $ A $ and a derived equivalence between two $ H $-module algebras can be extended to smash product algebras under some conditions. Then we observe that $ 0\rightarrow {\rm End}_{\mathcal{D}^b(B)}(T_{\bullet})\rightarrow {\rm End}_{\mathcal{D}^b(A)}(T_{\bullet}\otimes_BA) $ is an $ H $-Galois Frobenius extension if $ A/B $ is an $ H $-Galois Frobenius extension. Finally, for any perfect recollement of derived categories of $ H $-module algebras, we apply the above results to construct a perfect recollement of derived categories of their smash product algebras and generalize it to $ n $-recollements.

Abstract:We show that the difference of the extension dimensions of two derived equivalent algebras is bounded above by the minimal length of a tilting complex associated with a derived equivalence, and that the extension dimension is an invariant under the stable equivalence. In addition, we provide two sufficient conditions such that the extension dimension is an invariant under particular derived equivalences.

Abstract:Let A be an abelian category and B be the Happel-Reiten-Smalø tilt of A with respect to a torsion pair. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a derived equivalence between A and B, which is compatible with the inclusion of B into the derived category of A. As applications, we obtain new derived equivalences related to splitting torsion pairs, TTF-triples and two-term silting subcategories, respectively. We prove that for the realization functor of any bounded t-structure, its denseness implies its fully-faithfulness.

Abstract:Consider a k ‐linear Frobenius category E such that the corresponding stable category C is 2‐Calabi–Yau, Hom‐finite with split idempotents. Let l,m∈C be maximal rigid objects with self‐injective endomorphism algebras. We will show that their endomorphism algebras C(l,l) and C(m,m) are derived equivalent. Furthermore, we will give a description of the two‐sided tilting complex that induces this derived equivalence.

Abstract:In this paper, we will consider derived equivalences for differential graded endomorphism algebras by Keller's approaches. First we construct derived equivalences of differential graded algebras which are endomorphism algebras of the objects from a triangle in the homotopy category of differential graded algebras. We also obtain derived equivalences of differential graded endomorphism algebras from a standard derived equivalence of finite dimensional algebras. Moreover, under some conditions, the cohomology rings of these differential graded endomorphism algebras are also derived equivalent. Then we give an affirmative answer to a problem of Dugas \cite{Dugas2015} in some special case.
Pre-weight structures, pseudo-identities and canonical derived equivalences

Abstract:We introduce the notion of pre-weight structure on a triangulated category and study the corresponding pseudo-identities. We propose the notion of canonical derived equivalence between algebras that are not necessarily flat, which is associated to a tilting complex. In the flat situation, canonical derived equivalences coincide with standard derived equivalences in the sense of Rickard. We prove that any derived equivalence starting from a hereditary algebra is canonical. The key tool is a general factorization theorem: any derived equivalence is uniquely factorized as a pseudo-identity followed by a canonical derived equivalence.

Abstract:Derived equivalences for Artin algebras (and almost $\nu$-stable derived equivalences for finite-dimensional algebras) are constructed from Milnor squares of algebras. Particularly, three operations of gluing vertices, unifying arrows and identifying socle elements on derived equivalent algebras are presented to produce new derived equivalences of the resulting algebras from the given ones. As a byproduct, we construct a series of derived equivalences, showing that derived equivalences may change Frobenius type of algebras in general, though both tilting procedure and almost $\nu$-stable derived equivalences do preserve Frobenius type of algebras.

Abstract:Derived $A_\infty$-algebras have a wealth of theoretical advantages over regular $A_\infty$-algebras. However, due to their bigraded nature, in practice they are often unwieldy to work with. We develop a framework involving brace algebras on operads which allows us to study derived $A_\infty$ algebras in a new conceptual context. One particular advantage is that this construction allows us to generalize the Lie algebra structure on the Hochschild complex of an $A_\infty$-algebra, obtaining new and rigorous versions of the Deligne conjecture.

Symmetry of Derived Delooping Level

Abstract:The finitistic dimension conjecture is closely connected to the symmetry of the finitistic dimension. Recent work indicates that such connection extends to one of its upper bounds, the delooping level. In this paper, we show that the same holds for the derived delooping level, which is an improvement of the delooping level. This reduces the finitistic dimension conjecture to considering algebras whose opposite algebra has (derived) delooping level zero. We thereby demonstrate ways to utilize the new concept of derived delooping level to obtain new results and present additional work involving tensor product of algebras.

Abstract:Building on Olander's work on algebraic spaces, we prove Orlov's representability theorem relating fully faithful functors and Fourier--Mukai transforms between the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves to the case of smooth, proper, and tame algebraic stacks. This extends previous results of Kawamata for Deligne--Mumford stacks with generically trivial stabilizers and projective coarse moduli spaces.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of big tilting complexes over associative rings, which is a simultaneous generalization of good tilting modules and tilting complexes over rings. Given a two-term big tilting complex over an arbitrary associative ring, we show that the derived module category of its (derived) endomorphism ring is a recollement of the one of the given ring and the one of a universal localization of the endomorphism ring. This recollement generalizes the one established for a good tilting module of projective dimension at most one.

Abstract:Let $\mathscr{A}$ be a small abelian category. For a closed subbifunctor $F$ of $\Ext_{\mathscr{A}}^{1}(-,-)$, Buan has generalized the construction of the Verdier's quotient category to get a relative derived category, where he localized with respect to $F$-acyclic complexes. In this paper, the homological properties of relative derived categories are discussed, and the relation with derived categories is given. For Artin algebras, using relatively derived categories, we give a relative version on derived equivalences induced by $F$-tilting complexes. We discuss the relationships between relative homological dimensions and relative derived equivalences.

Abstract:Abstract For self-injective algebras, Rickard proved that each derived equivalence induces a stable equivalence of Morita type. For general algebras, it is unknown when a derived equivalence implies a stable equivalence of Morita type. In this article, we first show that each derived equivalence F between the derived categories of Artin algebras A and B arises naturally as a functor between their stable module categories, which can be used to compare certain homological dimensions of A with that of B . We then give a sufficient condition for the functor to be an equivalence. Moreover, if we work with finite-dimensional algebras over a field, then the sufficient condition guarantees the existence of a stable equivalence of Morita type. In this way, we extend the classical result of Rickard. Furthermore, we provide several inductive methods for constructing those derived equivalences that induce stable equivalences of Morita type. It turns out that we may produce a lot of (usually not self-injective) finite-dimensional algebras that are both derived-equivalent and stably equivalent of Morita type; thus, they share many common invariants.

Abstract:The extension dimensions of an Artin algebra give a reasonable way of measuring how far an algebra is from being representation-finite. In this paper we mainly study the behavior of the extensions dimensions of algebras under different equivalences. We show that the difference of the extension dimensions of two derived equivalent algebras is bounded above by the length of the tilting complex associated with the derived equivalence, and that the extension dimension is an invariant under the stable equivalence. In addition, we provide two sufficient conditions such that the extension dimension is an invariant under particular derived equivalences.
