Abstract:Basic idea presented in Parts (I) and (II) for the deformed boson scheme is applied to the case of the su(2,1)-algebra for describing many-body systems consisting of three kinds of boson operators. A possible form of the coherent state for the su(2,1)-algebra is generalized and the deformed su(2,1)-algebra is presented. As an application, the time-evolution of the statistically mixed state in a certain boson system, which has been already investigated by the present authors, is reinvestigated.

Abstract:On a one-dimensional lattice without uniform interval, the Hermitian conjugation of a q-differential operator is discussed. Then a deformation of quantum mechanics in one dimension is presented. As an application, the harmonic oscillator is discussed. The energy spectrum and the eigenfunctions are shown to depend on an arbitrary deformation function. The deformed coherent states are also discussed. It is found that the completeness relation of coherent states holds for the case of q-coherent states, i.e. the deformation of the Heisenberg-Weyl algebra is a q-analogue Hopf algebra.

Abstract:The Holstein-Primakoff representation for the su(2)-algebra is derived in the deformed boson scheme. The following two points are discussed: (i) the connection between a simple Hamiltonian and the Hamiltonian obeying the su(2)-algebra, such as the Hamiltonian of the Lipkin model and (ii) derivation of the Hamiltonian for describing the damped and amplified motion for the su(2)-boson model.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a system of the q-deformed bosonic Tamm-Dancoff oscillators, whose spectrum has some exponential cutoff factors at high energies. We first investigate the q-calculus in the Tamm-Dancoff (TD) boson algebra, and within this framework, the q-derivative, q-integral and q-exponential function are introduced. Using these properties, we construct a new formalism for the q-deformed quantum mechanics, which accordingly involve the q-adjoint operator and the q-Hermitian operator properties. We then derive the q-deformed Heisenberg relation, and develop the q-Hermitian momentum operator. The q-deformed Schrödinger equation is introduced, and as applications, we study the momentum eigenfunction and one-dimensional box problem. Another application of the TD type deformation onto lattice oscillations is also discussed through a model of the q-deformed Debye solid. Finally, other potential applications of the TD-oscillators gas model are concisely pointed out.

Abstract:We provide a deformation quantization, in the sense of Rieffel, for all globally hyperbolic space-times with a Poisson structure. The Poisson structures have to satisfy Fedosov type requirements in order for the deformed product to be associative. We apply the novel deformation to quantum field theories and their respective states and we prove that the deformed state (i.e. a state in non-commutative spacetime) has a singularity structure resembling Minkowski, i.e. is Hadamard, if the undeformed state is Hadamard. This proves that the Hadamard condition, and hence the quantum field theoretical implementation of the equivalence principle is a general concept that holds in spacetimes with quantum features (i.e. a non-commutative spacetime).

Abstract:The treatment of the multiboson coherent state is extended for the completeness of the formulation. The basic idea of the extension is presented in terms of expanding the boson space. The MYT boson mapping plays a central role. The resultant multiboson coherent state includes the state obtained in our previous treatment and the form suggests that various multiboson coherent states are possible in the deformed boson scheme.
Quantum Many-Body Theory for kq-Deformed Particles

Abstract:We present a comprehensive quantum many body theory for kq deformed particles, offering a novel framework that relates particle statistics directly to effective interaction strength. Deformed by the parameters k and q, these particles exhibit statistical behaviors that interpolate between conventional bosonic and fermionic systems, enabling us to model complex interactions via statistical modifications. We develop a generalized Wick's theorem and extended Feynman diagrammatic tailored to kq-particles, allowing us to calculate two types of Green functions. Explicit expressions for these Green functions are derived in both direct and momentum spaces, providing key insights into the collective properties of kq-deformed systems. Using a random phase approximation (RPA), we estimate the dielectric function for q-fermion gas, and analyze the Friedel oscillations, the plasmon excitations, and the energy loss function. Our results demonstrate that the effective interaction is tuned by the value of q, so that a non interacting limit is obtained as q goes to zero, where the Friedel as well as the plasma oscillations disappear. There is an optimal value of q, the plasma frequency, as well as the energy loss function show an absolute maximum, and the effective interaction changes behavior.

Abstract:By virtue of deformation quantization methods we introduce the q -deformed coordinate representation. A new set of completeness and orthogonality relations composed of the ket and bra which are not mutually Hermitian conjugates are derived. Further, using the eigenket and eigenbra for q -deformed coordinate some important quantum gate operators for continuum variables are realized and their properties are discussed.

Abstract:I summarize results recently obtained in collaboration with Amelino-Camelia, Bruno and Mandanici (preprint University of Rome “La Sapienza”, August, 2005) that concern an analysis of the path of a massless particle in a q -de Sitter space-time and an approximation scheme suitable for the corresponding analysis in a quantum FRW Universe. On the basis of some arguments in the quantum-gravity literature, the q deformation parameter is assumed to depend on both the Planck scale and the curvature, leading to results that are significantly different from those of other studies of Planck-scale effects in cosmology, where the possibility of an interplay between curvature and Planck scale was ignored.

Abstract:Matrix theory compactifications on tori have associated Yang-Mills theories on the dual tori with sixteen supercharges. A non-commutative description of these Yang-Mills theories based in deformation quantization theory is provided. We show that this framework allows a natural generalization of the ‘Moya B-deformation’ of the Yang-Mills theories to non-constant background B-fields on curved spaces. This generalization is described through Fedosov's geometry of deformation quantization.

Abstract:We study $\mathrm{SU}(3)$ Yang-Mills theory in $(2+1)$ dimensions based on networks of Wilson lines. With the help of the $q$ deformation, networks respect the (discretized) $\mathrm{SU}(3)$ gauge symmetry as a quantum group, i.e., $\mathrm{SU}(3)_k$, and may enable implementations of $\mathrm{SU}(3)$ Yang-Mills theory in quantum and classical algorithms by referring to those of the stringnet model. As a demonstration, we perform a mean-field computation of the groundstate of $\mathrm{SU}(3)_k$ Yang-Mills theory, which is in good agreement with the conventional Monte Carlo simulation by taking sufficiently large $k$. The variational ansatz of the mean-field computation can be represented by the tensor networks called infinite projected entangled pair states. The success of the mean-field computation indicates that the essential features of Yang-Mills theory are well described by tensor networks, so that they may be useful in numerical simulations of Yang-Mills theory.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a compact connected Riemann surface, and let ${\mathcal Q}(r,d)$ denote the quot scheme parametrizing the torsion quotients of ${\mathcal O}^{\oplus r}_X$ of degree $d$. Given a projective structure $P$ on $X$, we show that the cotangent bundle $T^*{\mathcal U}$ of a certain nonempty Zariski open subset ${\mathcal U}\, \subset\, {\mathcal Q}(r,d)$, equipped with the natural Liouville symplectic form, admits a canonical deformation quantization. When $r\,=\,1\,=\, d$, then ${\mathcal Q}(r,d)\,=\, X$; this case was addressed earlier in \cite{BB}.

Abstract:In this paper, we adopt q -deformed binary operations, such as q -addition, q -subtraction, q -multiplication, and q -division, to construct the q -deformed Schrödinger equation in one dimension. We explore the mathematics involving q -deformed binary operations. We q -deform the ordinary commutator and the definition of Fock space in q -deformed quantum mechanics. As examples, we discuss the particle in a box and the harmonic oscillator.

Abstract:In this paper we briefly review the most general form of GUP motivated from nonlocal quantum mechanics discussed in detail by S. Masood, {\em et al}. We apply the special limit of this GUP form to the one-dimension linear potential to calculate the energy correction and the modified wave function. We also discuss the deformation effect on one dimensional delta potential well and one dimensional delta potential barrier. Moreover, we pay attention to the deformation effect on one dimensional hydrogen atom and investigate the Stark effect on the atom separately. Finally, we make a short conclusion.

Abstract:We present two different quantum deformations for the (anti)de Sitter algebras and groups. The former is a non-standard (triangular) deformation of SO(4,2) realized as the conformal group of the (3+1)D Minkowskian spacetime, while the latter is a standard (quasitriangular) deformation of both SO(2,2) and SO(3,1) expressed as the kinematical groups of the (2+1)D anti-de Sitter and de Sitter spacetimes, respectively. The Hopf structure of the quantum algebra and a study of the dual quantum group are presented for each deformation. These results enable us to propose new non-commutative spacetimes that can be interpreted as generalizations of the kappa-Minkowski space, either by considering a variable deformation parameter (depending on the boost coordinates) in the conformal deformation, or by introducing an explicit curvature/cosmological constant in the kinematical one; kappa-Minkowski turns out to be the common first-order structure for all of these quantum spaces. Some properties provided by these deformations, such as dimensions of the deformation parameter (related with the Planck length), space isotropy, deformed boost transformations, etc., are also commented.
