Abstract:The gas chromatography(GC) has the characters of high selectivity and separation efficiencies,rapid analysis,high sensitivity and small amount of sample usage,which is widely used in alcoholic beverage industry.In this paper,the basis of GC analysis and common used column are briefly introduced.The applications of GC in the measurement and control of the hygienic index,major fragrance content,skeletal component,complex component,flavouring composition in liquor are elucidated.The experience of peak tailing treatment is described with examples.
