Abstract:In the scientific community, there is still work to be done in order to create quantum computers that can execute jobs far better than traditional computers. In tandem with the device's advancement, it is imperative to enhance automated tools and methodologies that facilitate the modelling and design of pertinent applications. If not, there may come a time when there are sufficient strong quantum computers available but no funding to utilise them. Emotions play a major part in daily human interactions. By connecting emotional states with brain dynamics through electroencephalography (EEG) signals, brain–computer interfaces enable more human–machine interactions. The topic of emotion recognition has been the focus of numerous investigations. However, recognition accuracy remains a critical problem for emotion detection techniques based on EEG data. This paper offers a fresh approach to EEG-based emotion identification by utilising deep learning to combine feature extraction and classification by smart 6G sensor network. Here, an Internet of Things module and an EEG signal from a wearable sensor were used to obtain the input signal. To extract EEG fragments from this input signal and reduce noise, a discrete wavelet transform was applied. Based on its properties, reinforcement learning Q-learning based neural networks have been utilised to extract frequency band transformed signals. These retrieved properties have been classified using convolutional recursive neural networks. In order to identify emotion, performance analysis has been done in this case using a variety of EEG signal datasets. The parametric analysis is carried out for SEED dataset, proposed RQNN_CRNN accuracy 97%, precision 96%, recall 92%, F-1 score 85%, RMSE 79%, AUC 86%; for DEAP dataset proposed RQLNN_CRNN achieved accuracy 95%, precision 94%, recall 90%, F-1 score 81%, RMSE 72%, AUC 83%. The findings show that technique based emotion identification framework proposed is a promising technique for detecting emotions from EEG data.
