Abstract:Making the best possible use of employees is one of the vital targets for human resource management.The precondition of facing fierce market competition and seeking survival and development is to reasonably allocate human resource,arouse the employees' enthusiasm,and play their potential ability to great extent.Starting from the view of positive psychology,in the process of personnel re-cruitment,personnel training and development,performance appraisal,and incentive system installation,the managers of human re-sources should hold human nature properly,fully consider the generation of employees' high-level needs,arouse and guide the employ-ees' positive quality(i.e.positive emotion,self-efficacy,and the need of self-fulfillment),make an effort to create a comprehensive sys-tem to promote the employees' form and thought of positive quality,try to meet their reasonable need,and accordingly enhance their mo-tivation and target to promote better development of the enterprise.

Abstract:More and more of our daily activities depend on smartphones and applications. Thus, an increasing number of studies are interested in whether interactive applications can be used to improve the happiness of individuals. This paper presents an application called Collect Your Happiness that is based on some positive psychology principles. It can not only enhance people’s happiness by collecting their daily happy moments but provide small tasks to improve their happiness levels. A cross-cultural measurement between the Chinese and Dutch was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of this intervention by SHS, SWLS, PGWBI, and MAAS. Results show that CYH can help people from both countries improve their happiness.

Abstract:This paper explores and establishes a link between positive psychology coaching and business outcomes by investigating the benefits to employees, their well-being, job satisfaction, and organizational performance. The mixed-methods research design involved a quantitative survey involving 200 employees from various industries and qualitative input through semi-structured interviews with 20 managers. The study sought to establish empirical evidence (through statistical data and measurement scales) to support the benefits of positive psychology coaching in business through meeting key criteria and to illustrate the impact of positive psychology coaching on business outcomes both quantitatively and qualitatively. Generally, the findings indicate that there is a strong and positive benefit to implementing positive psychology coaching in the workplace environment, evidently enhancing employee well-being (mean score of 4.2), job satisfaction (mean score of 4.0), and organizational performance (mean score of 4.1). The qualitative analysis provided deeper insights into the process and types of positive psychology coaching interventions that stood out and were more effective. This strategy of thematic analysis on interview transcripts revealed that strengths-based development and goal-setting seemed to be key positive psychological interventions. The findings support existing literature and key theoretical models, such as the PERMA model and the Broaden-and-Build Theory.

Nieman, who won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2002, has made great contributions to the study of economics. He won a Nobel Prize for his work on human decision-making under uncertainty, largely because he was able to combine psychological research with economics. On this basis. This paper briefly introduces the concept and application value of Nieman economic psychology, analyzes the influence of Nieman economic psychology on enterprise human resource management, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.

Abstract:In the contemporary era, as competition among businesses intensifies, innovation and development in enterprise performance management are becoming increasingly crucial. Continuously enhancing employees' professional knowledge and skills not only improves their work capabilities but also boosts organizational performance, aiding companies in achieving sustainable development. Psychological capital, the latest theory in contemporary management science, transcends human and social capital, possessing characteristics of originality and forward-thinking. Managers, in their daily work, directly influence the attitudes and behaviors of their team members through formal or informal guidance and supervision. Creating a psychologically conducive environment, characterized by happiness, fulfillment, and belongingness, can positively and significantly impact managerial behavior, thus maximizing organizational effectiveness and managerial performance. Historically, businesses have prioritized employee performance management in human resources management processes, often neglecting the psychological needs of managers, thereby hindering the effective implementation of many incentive measures. Therefore, this study explores three dimensions of psychological capital and organizational performance, constructing a relevant structural equation model. By employing theoretical and empirical analysis methods, it validates the positive influence of psychological capital on organizational performance, providing insights into the impact of managerial psychological capital on organizational performance and actively contributing to the realization of corporate strategic objectives.

Abstract:What is positive psychology? Where has it come from? Where is it going? These are the questions we address in this article. In defining positive psychology, we distinguish between the meta-psychological level, where the aim of positive psychology is to redress the imbalance in psychology research and practice, and the pragmatic level, which is concerned with what positive psychologists do, in terms of their research, practice, and areas of interest. These distinctions in how we understand positive psychology are then used to shape conceptions of possible futures for positive psychology. In conclusion, we identify several pertinent issues for the consideration of positive psychology as it moves forward. These include the need to synthesize the positive and negative, build on its historical antecedents, integrate across levels of analysis, build constituency with powerful stakeholders, and be aware of the implications of description versus prescription.

Abstract:Based on Structural Balance Theory and the Positive-negative Network Model,this paper investigates and analyzes the positive-negative relationship of the inner organization network of company A,finds the optimal balance structure and depicts the positive-negative network diagram thereof.Managers can achieve the inner optimal harmony according to the optimal Structure Balance Theory,maximizing the positive factor when allocating the personnel in one apartment,coordinating the inner conflicts in the light of the positive-negative network diagram and arranging the personnel composition of new projects according to the positive-negative network among the staffs.

Abstract:Against the backdrop of rapid global economic advancement, intensifying corporate competition has made employee mental health a pivotal factor affecting both organizational performance and employee well-being. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), as structured mental health support services, have garnered increasing attention from corporate entities and academia alike. EAPs not only aim to address employees' psychological issues but also strive to enhance their work efficiency and overall satisfaction. By offering psychological counseling, stress management, and other comprehensive services, EAPs effectively alleviate workplace stress, promote mental well-being, and consequently elevate corporate productivity and competitiveness. Research underscores a significant positive correlation between mental health and work efficiency. Maintaining a healthy psychological state facilitates sustained high performance among employees, mitigating absenteeism and turnover stemming from psychological issues. As businesses increasingly prioritize employee mental health, the global adoption of EAPs is becoming more widespread. However, enterprises face various challenges in implementation, such as safeguarding employee privacy, low participation rates, and resource constraints. Thus, exploring the impact of EAPs on employee mental health and work efficiency, analyzing challenges encountered during implementation, and devising corresponding strategies are crucial for optimizing management practices and enhancing operational efficiency in enterprises.

Abstract:This article explores the influence of the functional mechanism of psychological empowerment on individual innovative behaviors in China's enterprises with the method of empirical research.The results indicate that psychological empowerment and proactive personality have a positive influence on individual innovative behaviors and that proactive personality mediates the relationship between psychological empowerment and individual innovative behaviors.It also tests employees' innovative behavior urged by their perceived significance,sense of efficacy and autonomy when they feel fully authorized.

Abstract:Humanity has abundant meanings in our life. In enterprise management, humanity serves as an unseen lever or monitor to evaluate whether an enterprise and its management patterns are qualified or not. In history, we may find various theories or thoughts about management humanity. In the west, we can read Abraham H. Maslow, Douglas Mcgregor, Edgar H. Schein, Jay W. Lorsch and John J. Morse, W. G. Ouchi, etc. while in China, we may refer to Confucius, Mencius, Lao Tzu, Chuang Tzu, Lieh Tzu, and some modern scholars such as CHEN Zhongying, SU Dongshui, LI Zhanxiang, etc. In enterprise management, humanity is undoubtedly important for the employees, the managers, the enterprises as well as the society. Drucker's management philosophy is a good model to study. To make sure that humanity does good to enterprise management, we should adopt different ways to enhance the value of humanity in enterprise management: (1) Be earnest to the study of the management humanity and make an innovation from management as a vocation to management as a scientific activity, and finally management as a philosophy, (2) Be true to our soul and know well about our advantages and disadvantages to avoid the potential problems, (3) Be open-minded and far-sighted about the new discoveries and achievements both at home and abroad, and (4) Be confident about the national enterprise management, learn from the traditions and renew our mind. Abstract:Theoretical researchers of manager psychology have excellent potential to extend its research framework to more enterprise application areas, such as innovation, performance, and safety in production. Research in these areas has also been increasing in the past 10 years. Psychological capital is composed of four aspects: self-efficacy, hope, optimism, and tenacity. It plays an essential role in stimulating organizational growth and improving organizational performance. In safety management work, managers, as the core members of the organization, have a relationship between their psychological capital and employees’ safety performance. Nevertheless, the closeness of the relationship between psychological capital and employee safety performance has not been fully demonstrated by academic circles. Based on positive psychology theory, this paper conducts a questionnaire survey of 157 managers and 314 employees related to safety work in manufacturing enterprises. From the new perspective of organizational emotional capability, this paper investigates the complex and extensive social-psychological role in organizations and combs, analyzes, and integrates relevant psychological research to construct the influence mechanism of managers’ psychological capital and employee safety performance. Finally, the three important issues found based on data analysis were: (1) Managers’ psychological capital has a significant positive impact both on employee safety performance and organizational emotional capability; (2) Organizational emotional capability has a significant positive impact on employee safety performance; (3) organizational emotional capability plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between managers’ psychological capital and employee safety performance.

Abstract:A science of positive subjective experience, positive individual traits, and positive institutions promises to improve quality of life and prevent the pathologies that arise when life is barren and meaningless. The exclusive focus on pathology that has dominated so much of our discipline results in a model of the human being lacking the positive features that make life worth living. Hope, wisdom, creativity, future mindedness, courage, spirituality, responsibility, and perseverance are ignored or explained as transformations of more authentic negative impulses. The 15 articles in this millennial issue of the American Psychologist discuss such issues as what enables happiness, the effects of autonomy and self-regulation, how optimism and hope affect health, what constitutes wisdom, and how talent and creativity come to fruition. The authors outline a framework for a science of positive psychology, point to gaps in our knowledge, and predict that the next century will see a science and profession that will come to understand and build the factors that allow individuals, communities, and societies to flourish.

Abstract:An ever-expanding literature now exists critiquing the theory and philosophy of positive psychology, however, research has yet to provide a critical analysis of its practical application. The current study extends on these critiques by exploring how positive psychology is applied to the workplace by investigating practitioner-based sources including interviews with workplace coaches who use positive psychological interventions and applied published texts. The study draws on Michel Foucault’s concepts of power/knowledge and discourse as a theoretical and methodological framework. Three dominant discourses were identified which illustrate the ways in which positive psychology is applied to the workplace. These include the promotion of its scientific credentials, employing a strength-based approach and using goal-setting and behavioral reinforcement interventions. When applied to the workplace, these discourses psychologize workplace problems, resulting in potentially negative outcomes for employees. However, interviews with some of the workplace coaches indicate they practice a degree of reflexivity, providing a salutary lesson for the science of positive psychology.

Abstract:Psychological capital is a new research hotspot in the fields of organization behavior and management science,and it has a positive impact on many organizational consequent variables,however,there are few researches on its antecedent vari-ables. From the perspective of employees’proactive personality,the study explores the relationship between employees’proac-tive personality and psychological capital. The paper applies relevant statistical methods to analyze the data collected by ques-tionnaires. The results show that employees’proactive personality can significantly positively predict their overall level of psy-chological capital and its four dimensions,which are optimism,hope,resilience and self-efficacy. The findings enrich theo-retically the research field of proactive personality and psychological capital,and provide some useful guidelines for enterpris-es to select and train employees in practice.
