On the Ecological Translation of Chinese Culture-loaded Words in the Context of Globalization

Abstract:In the context of globalization,while the exchanges between different countries or regions are more frequent,the unitarization trend of the global languages and cultures is increasingly obvious.In order to keep the balance of the ecological system of the global languages and cultures,measures should be adopted to publicize the weak cultures.Among them,the ecological translation of the culture-loaded words rich in cultural connotation and characterized by traditional cultures of each people is an effective way.The ecological translation of Chinese culture-loaded words requires the improvement of the ecological environment and the translators' qualities.The ecological translation of these words in the context of globalization is helpful for introducing traditional Chinese culture to the foreign cultures,protecting the ethnic identity of the Chinese language in the world,increasing the mutual-understanding between Chinese people and the people from other ethnic groups,and keeping the diverse coexistence of the languages and cultures in the world while maintaining the balance of the language and culture ecosystem in its entirety.
