Abstract:Melanoma is the third most common cutaneous malignancy, and is associated with ultraviolet radiation exposure, fair complexion, and a history of sunburns.Metastatic spread rarely involves the stomach. We present a patient with dysphagia due to mediastinal mass, with endoscopy revealing an extrinsic compression of the esophagus and an incidental metastatic gastric melanoma.
