General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that strengthening the protection and utilization of cultural relics and the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage is to show a real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China and improve the soft power of national culture. Colleges and universities must fully understand the extreme importance of ideological work. Cultural memory is the memory of the past shared by ethnic groups or cultures. The innovation and development of Hunan Huagu Opera and Dance is inevitably inseparable from the pursuit of cultural memory which has lasted for thousands of years under the protection of inheritance. Cultural revival provides new opportunities for the development of local opera and dance, and at the same time, it also faces the impact of foreign culture. The transformation and challenge of mass aesthetic interest, cultural aesthetic life and consumption mode of cultural products have faced bottlenecks in their inheritance, innovation and development. Hunan Huagu Opera Dance, as an intangible cultural heritage, is no exception. In order to construct an innovative style under the background of cultural revival and realize the development and inheritance, Hunan Huagu Opera Dance has been explored fruitfully.
