Abstract:Shimen was a made-made tunnel dug at the south end of the Baoxie Valley.As a gateway tunnel leading from the Guanzhong Plains to Sichuan in the Qinling Mountains in ancient times,Shimen carries large quantities of scenic spots and relics,the majority of which are graphic carvings.Many of these carved inscriptions were varieties of literary works written by famous men of letters.For literary styles,there were eulogies,inscriptions,epigraphs,accounts,poetic prose and poems.For documentary matters,what were recorded were many and various,including personalities,events,scenic spots,travel accounts.And for artistic taste,the works were narrative,lyrical and documentary.

Abstract:Yang Xiong's stylistic writings include shudu,zhen,ming,song,lei,dui,nan,fu,jieandlianzhu.Among them,there are the original jie and lianzhu,the reformative fu and zhen as well as the inherited ming and song.Therefore,Yang Xiong's writings have the characteristics of extensiveness and reformativeness.To establish and reform literary forms is a way for Yang Xiong to dispel the awareness of unexpected development caused by the loss of Confucian spirit in the Western Han Dynasty.

Abstract:During the Han and Tang Dynasties, the exchange of handicraft culture between China and Persia significantly promoted economic development, advanced diplomatic relations, improved the material and cultural life of the people, enriched their spiritual enjoyment, and held a critical position in the history of East-West handicraft cultural exchange. The methods of image composition in Chinese painting and Persian miniature painting differ, yet there are mutual influences. The images reflect the national uniqueness and cultural diversity of both countries due to the differences in functional space. This paper explores the communication between China and Persia in painting images during the Han and Tang Dynasties by examining three aspects: composition, space concept, and style of Chinese painting and Persian detailed photos. It reveals the mutual influences formed in exploring stylization and individuation while maintaining the distinctive characteristics of the art communication path.

Abstract:With the help of stylistic theory,this article makes an attempt to break through the limitations of genre and type,look news style as the rich meaning political and cultural phenomenon. This article argues that news style is the organic combination of news content and news form,the organic unity of surface text factor and deep social factor. Based on the dominant factors which content,presentation characteristics and structure mode,as well as the understanding of the news itself,this article according as some of the factors that enhance,highlight,or mutation,made a diachronic and synchronic analysis for "Xinhua Style" and several major contemporary news style.
Influence of Huizhou Culture on the Plant Landscapes in Huizhou-style Gardens

Abstract:Huizhou-style gardens have been greatly influenced by Huizhou culture, their plant landscapes have also been integrated with various aspects of Huizhou culture, which demonstrated the ideology, historical and cultural connotation of the society in an abstract and impalpable way. In this study, Huizhou-style miniature landscapes, plants of virtual implications, flowers or fruit trees of special connotations are taken for examples to analyze the influence of Xin’an Neo-Confucianism on plant landscapes in Huizhou-style gardens, the demonstration of Huizhou businessmen’s aesthetic tastes, as well as folk cultures of Huizhou, which implies that plant landscapes in Huizhou-style gardens are those incorporating with humanistic spirits, ornamental and practical uses. This study aims to provide references for further researches in the present situation of ancient Huizhou areas, protection of ancient Huizhou-style gardens and construction of new-style Huizhou gardens.

Abstract:Architecture is a carrier of culture, as well as a product of one certain historical period. Influenced by the traditional culture over a long period of time, Huizhou folk houses have formed their own decorative design style with unique regional features. The article explores the design ideas on the decorative art of Huizhou ancient folk houses through formation and development of the decorative style, decorative characteristics, adornment subjects and decorative crafts. Based on it, the article excavates modern significance and value of the decorative art of Huizhou ancient folk houses, trying to get some references and enlightenments on modern architectural decorative design.

Abstract:This paper probes deeply into the aesthetic value and shaping mode of the characters in the works of the Tales of Liaozhai by Pu Songling, a Chinese writer in Qing Dynasty. By analyzing Pu Songling's writing style, aesthetic concept and the shaping way of several typical characters, this paper reveals his unique aesthetic pursuit and literary talent in his works. The contrast of the images of gods, demons and human beings, the characteristics of characters and the description of images all show Pu Songling's deep thinking about human nature, fate and supernatural power. The influence of the ancient aesthetic concept on his works and the re-interpretation of the characters under the contemporary aesthetic concept are also discussed. The characters in Pu Songling's works not only have historical significance, but also radiate new vitality and significance in the field of contemporary literature, bringing readers profound thinking and aesthetic experience.
