Abstract:With the rapid development of computer science and information technology, artificial intelligence (AI) has been developed from theory to application. As a key technology in the modern society, AI is increasingly affecting all aspects of people’s daily lives, including sports training. AI can be considered as an assistive technology to provide specific support to athletes’ physical education training through various means such as data analysis and simulation of training scenarios. Although research on AI is still in the preliminary stage, it is significant to explore how AI can be applied in sports training since this emerging technology could facilitate people’s physical training to some extent. This paper first reviews the existing research on AI applications. Then, based on the fundamental concept and related research results of AI, this study explores three specific cases of AI application in sports training and explains the main principles. This research focuses on discussing the strong relationship between AI technology and physical education training and highlights the advantages of AI, including utilization, convenience, and innovation.

Abstract:As an important driving force leading a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has spawned a large number of new products, new technologies, new formats and new models, and also brought more possibilities for the modernization of medical education. Looking into the future, we should work together to build a high-quality and warm AI medical education ecology. How to make human-machine collaboration smarter and human-machine dialogue more friendly is a long-term topic of "AI + medical education" Education is dynamic and evolving, thinking rationally about the relationship between people and technology. Further promoting the deep integration and innovative development of AI and medical education can better empower the modernization of education. Use CiteSpace and VOSviewer to determine the current and emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence on medical education from 2013 to 2022. Search the literatures related to Artificial Intelligence on medical education in Web of Science core database from 2013 to 2022. Use CiteSpace and VOS viewers to analyze countries, institutions, authors, references and keywords that meet the requirements. We identified 195 articles about Artificial Intelligence on medical education from 2013 to 2022 and found that the annual incidence rate increased over time. The most active country was the United States, the most active institution was the Harvard Med Sch and Univ Toronto. And Bissonnette, Vincent; Blacketer, Charlotte; Del Maestro, Rolando f; Ledows, Nicole; Mirchi, Nykan; Winkler-schwartz, Alexander; Yilamaz, Recai was the leading authors. Besides, “Medical students' attitude towards Artificial Intelligence: a multicentre survey” was the largest number of citation papers. References and keyword analysis showed that “radiology”, “medical physics” ,“ehealth” ,“surgery”,and “specialty” were the focus of these studies, while “big data”, and “management” were the frontiers of research. The bibliometric study shows that the research of Artificial Intelligence on medical education is a promising research field. The current research is mainly focused on a few aspects of medical education, with the progress of technology, it is expected to broaden the direction in the future. At present, the urgent problem to be solved is to strengthen inter-regional cooperation and improve the quality of research. Our findings provide valuable information for researchers to determine a better perspective and develop future research directions.

Abstract:The field of sporting events is seeing a constant change in the use and development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The primary focus of this research is on using AI to analyze athlete performance and improve training regimens. This includes skill evaluations, tactical improvements, and customized training advice. The results show that AI has advanced significantly in event management, spectator experiences, and referee decision-making all at the same time. This has improved audience engagement, operational efficiency, and referee decision correctness. Even with all of AI's achievements in sports, there are still unanswered questions. Examples of these include improving intelligent training apparatus and making more accurate projections of athlete performance. Future studies will explore these areas in greater detail in an effort to advance and innovate artificial intelligence (AI) in the sports industry. The ongoing evolution of AI suggests a broader and more precise exploration in sports, potentially providing richer and superior experiences for athletes, spectators, and stakeholders while laying the groundwork for future technological innovations. Meanwhile, people should anticipate the collaborative development of artificial intelligence and humans, aiming for equilibrium, mutual supplementation, and interdependence.

Abstract:Abstract Nowadays, with the swift advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, its applications have become widespread across diverse fields. AI is no longer a mere abstract idea but has seamlessly integrated into our daily lives, bringing numerous conveniences through its myriad benefits. One such domain where AI has made significant inroads in college physical education and training. The integration of Intelligent Computer-Aided Instruction (ICAI) with computer-assisted teaching systems, AI-powered wearable devices, motion capture systems in sports training, and virtual demonstration technology for simulating athletic movements has greatly enhanced both the precision of physical education and the efficacy of physical training. AI continues to evolve rapidly, indicating vast potential for further development in its integration with physical education and training. This paper highlights the widespread adoption of AI in sports and delves into its specific applications within this domain. The findings reveal that the algorithm employed in this context excels in identifying sports movement features, outperforming the comparison algorithm by 27.65%. Moreover, it precisely pinpoints the edge contours of human movement. In comparison to traditional Support Vector Machines (SVM), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) exhibit clear advantages during the later stages of operation, reducing errors by 36.69%. The experimental results underscore the importance of comprehensive human body detection in ensuring stable and accurate sports action tracking.

Abstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) has shown tremendous growth over the last decade, with the more recent development of clinical applications in health care. The ability of AI to synthesize large amounts of complex data automatically allows health care providers to access previously unavailable metrics and thus enhance and personalize patient care. Abstract:Wearable technologies are small electronic and mobile devices with wireless communication capabilities that can be worn on the body as a part of devices, accessories or clothes. Sensors incorporated within wearable devices enable the collection of a broad spectrum of data that can be processed and analysed by artificial intelligence (AI) systems. In this narrative review, we performed a literature search of the MEDLINE, Embase and Scopus databases. We included any original studies that used sensors to collect data for a sporting event and subsequently used an AI-based system to process the data with diagnostic, treatment or monitoring intents. The included studies show the use of AI in various sports including basketball, baseball and motor racing to improve athletic performance. We classified the studies according to the stage of an event, including pre-event training to guide performance and predict the possibility of injuries; during events to optimise performance and inform strategies; and in diagnosing injuries after an event. Based on the included studies, AI techniques to process data from sensors can detect patterns in physiological variables as well as positional and kinematic data to inform how athletes can improve their performance. Although AI has promising applications in sports medicine, there are several challenges that can hinder their adoption. We have also identified avenues for future work that can provide solutions to overcome these challenges.

Abstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the science and engineering of creating intelligent machines for imitating and expanding human intelligence. Given the ongoing evolution of the multidisciplinary integration trend in modern medicine, numerous studies have investigated the power of AI to address orthopedic-specific problems. One particular area of investigation focuses on shoulder pathology, which is a range of disorders or abnormalities of the shoulder joint, causing pain, inflammation, stiffness, weakness, and reduced range of motion. There has not yet been a comprehensive review of the recent advancements in this field. Therefore, the purpose of this review is to evaluate current AI applications in shoulder pathology. This review mainly summarizes several crucial stages of the clinical practice, including predictive models and prognosis, diagnosis, treatment, and physical therapy. In addition, the challenges and future development of AI technology are also discussed.

Artificial intelligence offers significant opportunities to enhance risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring of athletes. This article explores the application of AI in various aspects of sports cardiology, including imaging techniques, genetic testing, and wearable devices. The use of machine learning and deep neural networks enables improved analysis and interpretation of complex datasets. However, ethical and legal dilemmas must be addressed, including informed consent, algorithmic fairness, data privacy, and intellectual property issues. The integration of AI technologies should complement the expertise of physicians, allowing for a balanced approach that optimizes patient care and outcomes. Abstract:The development of artificial intelligence is accompanied by the progress of human society. Purpose of the article is to using artificial intelligence in coordination of physical education teaching in middle and higher schools to solve the problems of traditional physical education models and improve modern physical education of overall operating efficiency. In this paper, the research methods of artificial intelligence are applied to physical education teaching. In order to understand the advantages and application methods of artificial intelligence, the application prospect and development trend of artificial intelligence in modern physical education technology are further explored. And the experiment is studied by the conventional research method, taking 400 students in 11 colleges and universities as the research object, and using decision tree algorithm to analyze the overall, systematic and development perspective. A comprehensive and in-depth study of influencing factors of practical teaching of public physical education. The result shown that for the use of public ROTOWIRE data, the practical application proposed in this article can significantly increase the actual attention of physical education and teaching to 90%, while increasing the participation of 70% of students.

AI also facilitates the development of virtual coaching platforms and simulators, providing athletes with immersive and dynamic training experiences. Abstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) aims to mimic human cognitive functions. It is bringing a paradigm shift to healthcare, powered by increasing availability of healthcare data and rapid progress of analytics techniques. We survey the current status of AI applications in healthcare and discuss its future. AI can be applied to various types of healthcare data (structured and unstructured). Popular AI techniques include machine learning methods for structured data, such as the classical support vector machine and neural network, and the modern deep learning, as well as natural language processing for unstructured data. Major disease areas that use AI tools include cancer, neurology and cardiology. We then review in more details the AI applications in stroke, in the three major areas of early detection and diagnosis, treatment, as well as outcome prediction and prognosis evaluation. We conclude with discussion about pioneer AI systems, such as IBM Watson, and hurdles for real-life deployment of AI.

Abstract:With the orderly development of society and economy, people pay more and more attention to sports. How to effectively protect the safety of athletes has become more and more important. With the increasing awareness of health and the popularity of physical exercise, this study aims to explore the application of artificial intelligence-based sensor wearable devices in the monitoring of human health in sports and evaluate their effects on athletes. The research collected relevant literature, analyzed the application of artificial intelligence technology in wearable sensor devices, and designed a sports human health monitoring system according to the needs of athletes. Through experimental tests, it is found that the artificial intelligence-based sensor wearable device can accurately monitor the physiological parameters of athletes, and provide feedback and suggestions in time to help athletes achieve more effective training and health management, improve their training effect and competitive level.

Abstract:In this paper, 1,538 papers retrieved with the keywords “sports artificial intelligence (AI)” on the Web of Science database since 2007 were taken as the data source, and the Cite Space V software was used to visualize and analyze them. A visual knowledge graph was used to streamline the countries, institutions and authors conducting sports AI research, discipline distribution, research hotspots and development trends in the past 15 years. Subsequently, its development direction and research progress were discussed. Sports AI was widely distributed, with the US, China and the UK leading the way. The most prolific authors and teams in research on sports AI were concentrated in American universities. Their main research direction is to develop and improve smart wearable devices based on machine learning and deep learning technologies for different groups of people. Research on sports AI involved multiple disciplines, which mainly applied and referred to research methodologies and theories on engineering, computer science and sports science. It could be seen from the frequency and centrality of keywords that in the current field of sports AI, machine learning is the main direction, artificial neural networks is the main algorithm, and practical and empirical research based on data mining is the focus. The research hotspots were divided into three major clusters: physical health promotion, sports injury prevention and control, and athletic performance enhancement. How to introduce intelligent technology into sports for a perfect integration still has an arduous and long way to go. Future development requires joint efforts and participation of scientific researchers, professionals and common people.

By exploring the application of machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) techniques, such as random forests (RFs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and artificial neural networks (ANNs), this review highlights AI's ability to analyze complex datasets, detect patterns, and generate predictive insights that enhance injury prevention strategies. AI models improve the accuracy and reliability of injury risk assessments by tailoring prevention strategies to individual athlete profiles and processing real-time data. A literature review was conducted through searches in PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Web of Science, focusing on studies from 2014 to 2024 and using keywords such as 'artificial intelligence', 'machine learning', 'sports injury', and 'risk prediction'. While AI's predictive power supports both team and individual sports, its effectiveness varies based on the unique data requirements and injury risks of each, with team sports presenting additional complexity in data integration and injury tracking across multiple players. This review also addresses critical issues such as data quality, ethical concerns, privacy, and the need for transparency in AI applications. By shifting the focus from reactive to proactive injury management, AI technologies contribute to enhanced athlete safety, optimized performance, and reduced human error in medical decisions. Abstract:This paper explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in elite sports. We approach the topic from two perspectives. Firstly, we provide a literature based overview of AI success stories in areas other than sports. We identified multiple approaches in the area of Machine Perception, Machine Learning and Modeling, Planning and Optimization as well as Interaction and Intervention, holding a potential for improving training and competition. Secondly, we discover the present status of AI use in elite sports. Therefore, in addition to another literature review, we interviewed leading sports scientist, which are closely connected to the main national service institute for elite sports in their countries. The analysis of this literature review and the interviews show that the most activity is carried out in the methodical categories of signal and image processing. However, projects in the field of modeling & planning have become increasingly popular within the last years. Based on these two perspectives, we extract deficits, issues and opportunities and summarize them in six key challenges faced by the sports analytics community. These challenges include data collection, controllability of an AI by the practitioners and explainability of AI results.

Abstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) is gradually influencing every aspect of everyday life, including education. AI can also provide special support to learners through academic sustainability or discontinuation predictions. While AI research remains in its early stages, we must examine how it evolves and exerts its potential over time. By utilizing AI in physical education (PE), we can increase its potential use in sports applications, and enact changes upon the nature of PE, its visualization, and repeatability. Based on the concept of AI and related research areas, this study explores its principles and use in PE, and presents a focused, in-depth analysis of the areas of PE technology where AI could be applied—customized PE classes, knowledge provision, learner evaluation, and learner counseling methods. Our findings highlight the expertise required for future PE teachers in applying AI. Regarding practice implications, this study addresses the topic of AI innovations affecting all life domains, including PE; it highlights AI applications’ relevance to PE technology, based on existing research; it proposes that the implications of AI for PE may apply to other educational domains; and finally, it contributes to existing literature and also shares future research prospects regarding AI applications in education and sports.

Another major benefit of using AI in sports is to analyze data and game stats to improve team performance in future games. Improved good decision making capability has made using artificial intelligence applications to gain huge popularity and attention in both academia and industry especially in sports industry. The main problem associated with using Artificial Intelligence applications is sports is that the usefulness of AI for many sports viewers, experts, coaches, team managers, and policy makers is not clear especially when they are not particularly familiar or expert in the field of AI. Similarly, for many, the reasons for employing AI and machine learning (ML) models for mathematical analysis in areas such as sports remain lackluster or unclear. In this research paper the authors present a review in the importance of using AI applications in sports for the people involved in the sports industry in general and especially for the Iraqi academic staff and those working in the sports field. The stake holders and the parties involved need to learn how to use the principles of AI knowledge, and conduct research to improve the performance of Iraqi teams and player.
