The problem of politication of modern international sports

Abstract:в данной статье рассматривается проблема политизации международного спорта, которая стала особенно актуальной в современном мире. Авторы анализируют исторические моменты, начиная с XX века, когда спорт начал активно использоваться как инструмент политического воздействия и пропаганды, до текущего момента, когда влияние политики на спорт достигло беспрецедентных масштабов. Особое внимание уделено последним годам, когда ситуация обострилась из-за роста международных конфликтов, введения санкций и дипломатической изоляции некоторых стран. Авторы используют аналитические и ретроспективные методы для исследования влияния политических решений на организацию международных спортивных соревнований и участие в них спортсменов из различных стран. Помимо анализа, в статье предложены конкретные рекомендации по деполитизации спорта, среди которых акцент сделан на развитии спортивной дипломатии как инструмента снижения политического напряжения и формирования положительного образа стран на международной арене. Приведены примеры из истории и современности, показывающие, как спорт может служить мостом для диалога и сотрудничества между государствами, а также как политические интересы могут влиять на честную игру и спортивный дух. this article examines the problem of politicization of international sports, which has become especially relevant in the modern world. The authors analyze historical moments, starting from the 20th century, when sport began to be actively used as a tool of political influence and propaganda, to the current moment, when the influence of politics on sport has reached unprecedented proportions. Particular attention is paid to recent years, when the situation has worsened due to the growth of international conflicts, the introduction of sanctions and the diplomatic isolation of some countries. The authors use analytical and retrospective methods to study the impact of political decisions on the organization of international sports competitions and the participation of athletes from different countries in them. In addition to the analysis, the article offers specific recommendations for the depoliticization of sports, among which the emphasis is on the development of sports diplomacy as a tool for reducing political tension and creating a positive image of countries in the international arena. Examples from history and modern times are provided to show how sport can serve as a bridge for dialogue and cooperation between nations, and how political interests can influence fair play and sportsmanship.
