Preschool Children's Construction of Musical Aesthetic Experience

Abstract:Children are born with musical capacities.As a manifestation of the musical aspect of human nature,such a musical endowment is a human instinct for survival and a kind of collective unconsciousness accumulated in the long-term human experience of music.On this view,preschool children are believed to be able to construct their aesthetic experience of music through interacting with the musical materials.Starting from the perception of the existence of musical texts,they can develop a positive attitude to understand and interpret the music and then internalize and re-construct what they have experienced,thus forming their "own" aesthetic experience,which is consequently transformed into adequate ability to make good musical judgments.In this process,the shift between hearing and kinesthesis is dominant.The preschool children's construction of music aesthetic experience is an interaction between the children themselves,the composers,and the society,hence the construction of a type of mutual experience.
