Abstract:Photocatalysis has emerged as a extremely promising green technology for the treatment of uranium-containing wastewater. This study focuses on the fabrication of Ti3C2Tx/Cd0.8Zn0.2S composites with Schottky junctions through the in-situ growth of Cd0.8Zn0.2S on Ti3C2Tx nanosheets, enabling efficient photoreduction of U(VI) without the requirement of sacrificial agents. The results demonstrate that the Ti3C2Tx/Cd0.8Zn0.2S composites achieve remarkable 99.48 % U(VI) reduction efficiency within 60 min in a 100 ppm uranium solution. Furthermore, the removal rate remains above 90 % after five cycles. The formation of Schottky heterojunctions by Ti3C2Tx and Cd0.8Zn0.2S leads to the generation of an internal electric field that significantly promotes the rapid separation and transfer of photogenerated carriers, thereby enhancing the photocatalytic reduction efficiency of Ti3C2Tx/Cd0.8Zn0.2S-3:100 (TC/CZS-3:100). A considerable amount of electrons accumulate on Ti3C2Tx via the Schottky barrier, effectively facilitating the reduction of U(VI) to U(IV). As a co-catalyst, Ti3C2Tx enhances the photocatalytic performance and stability of Cd0.8Zn0.2S. Moreover, the practical application in the waste liquid of rare earth tailings reveals that the removal rate can be as high as 91.24 %. This research is of significant value in the development of effective photocatalysts for the elimination of uranium from wastewater.
Facile In-Situ Synthesis of Silicon Carbide-Graphitic Carbon Nitride Composite for Enhanced Photocatalytic Uranium (VI) Recovery

Abstract:This study successfully synthesized a novel photocatalyst, a composite of silicon carbide and graphitic carbon nitride, which achieved efficient photocatalytic reduction of uranium (VI) under visible light irradiation. The optimal loading of silicon carbide in the composite was determined to be SiC15@g-C3N4, which significantly enhanced the optoelectronic properties of graphitic carbon nitride, improving the separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs and extending the electron lifetime from 1.73 ns to 3.96 ns. Furthermore, the adding of silicon carbide effectively modified the band structure of graphitic carbon nitride, with the conduction band position shifting from −0.74 eV to −1.18 eV, thereby enhancing the reducibility. In photocatalytic reduction experiments, the SiC15@g-C3N4 composite demonstrated exceptional reduction efficiency, achieving a remarkable 100 % photocatalytic reduction rate within 30 min, which is significantly superior to that of pristine g-C3N4. The study revealed that superoxide radicals (·O2-) are the main reactive species in the reaction, leading to the formation of uraninite (UO2) as the reduced product. These findings not only deepen the understanding of the synergistic effects between SiC and g-C3N4 but also provide new perspectives for the design of efficient photocatalysts. The SiC15@g-C3N4 composite shows potential applications in environmental remediation and nuclear waste management.
Coupling of CdS and G-C3n4 Decorated Dendritic Fibrous Nano-Silica for Efficient Photocatalytic Reduction of Uranium (VI)

Abstract:Uranium (VI) removal and recovery from wastewater is crucial for sustainable development of nuclear energy and environmental remediation. Among various techniques, the photocatalytic reducing uranium (VI) to immobile uranium (IV) has been regarded as one of the most effective strategies. As a result, the design and fabrication of photocatalysts have attracted extensive attention. In this study, g-C3N4 decorated dendritic fibrous nano-silica was fabricated first and then coupled with CdS. The fibrous photocatalyst showed high surface area and extended visible light absorption. More importantly, it exhibited a satisfying performance for the photocatalytic reduction of uranium (VI) under air atmosphere with solar irradiation. The SEM images and XPS spectrum confirmed that uranium (VI) was indeed photo-reduced to uranium (IV). Meanwhile, quenching experiments showed that center dot O2- played a key role in uranium (VI) reduction.
Enhanced Photoreduction of U(VI) in Solution by Ti3C2Tx/g-C3N4 Composites

Abstract:The enhanced transfer efficiency of electron from photocatalyst to U(VI) is crucial for U(VI) photoreduction. Herein, we developed porous 2D/2D Ti3C2Tx/g-C3N4 heterojunction structure through the pyrolysis gasification of urea during direct calculation of Ti3C2 nanosheet and urea. Ti3C2Tx/g-C3N4 hybrid displayed the exceptional photocatalytic performance, high reaction rate constant (k1 = 0.0228 min−1) and rapid removal kinetics due to high photocatalytic activity, good chemical stability and highly efficient separation of photo-generated electron-hole pairs. According to quenching experiments and ESR analysis, the superoxide (.O2-) radicals played an important role in U(VI) photoreduction by Ti3C2Tx/g-C3N4. The higher efficient migration of photo-generated electrons from g-C3N4 to Ti3C2 co-catalyst was attributed to the tight interfacial interaction of –NHx of g-C3N4 with Ti3C2 via NHx-Ti chemical bonding, which increased the photoreduction of U(VI) into U(IV) by XPS analysis. The findings are crucial for designing g-C3N4-based catalysts by manipulating electronic structure for enhanced U(VI) photoreduction.
MnOx-decorated oxygen-doped g-C3N4 with enhanced photocatalytic activity for efficient removal of uranium(VI)

Abstract:Photocatalysis can convert soluble hexavalent uranium (U(VI)) to insoluble tetravalent uranium (U(IV)), which can then be removed and recovered from water, making it a promising method for treating uranium-containing wastewater. In this study, we developed a novel MnOx-decorated oxygen-doped g-C3N4 (OCNM) photocatalyst for efficient photocatalytic extraction of uranium from uranium-containing wastewater. The oxygen doping and surface-decorated MnOx can synergistic promote the response of visible light and separation and transfer efficiency of photogenerated carriers, resulting in excellent performance of OCNM for photocatalytic extraction of uranium. Under aerobic and visible LED light irradiation, the as-synthesized OCNM can almost completely remove U(VI) in uranium solution with a concentration range of 1–100 mg/L at pH 5.0. The removal rate of U(VI) by OCNM remained (91.8%) after 5 consecutive adsorption–desorption cycles tests, indicating that this material is highly recyclable. Furthermore, the OCNM exhibits high selectivity for U(VI) in coexisting metal ion solutions. Further mechanism study revealed that the photogenerated e- and ·O2 – play an important role in U(VI) removal, with the U(VI) being immobilized as schoepite ((UO2)8O2(OH)12·12H2O) by OCNM during the photocatalytic reaction. This study presents a promising material and approach for the effective treatment of uranium wastewater using photocatalytic technology.

Abstract:Herein, for the first time, the visible-light-driven 2D/1D Ti3C2/CdS nanorods composites were fabricated by electrostatic assembly strategy to achieve efficient uranium(VI) photoreduction without any sacrificial agents. While CdS is the main catalyst, Ti3C2 in the composites acts as a Janus co-catalyst for the photoreduction of uranium(VI), in view of the fact that it can simultaneously enhance the photocatalytic performance and the stability of CdS. With the initial uranium(VI) concentration at 50 ppm, 97% uranium(VI) reduction efficiency was achieved by the optimal Ti3C2/CdS composites during 40 min visible light irradiation without any sacrificial agents. The kinetic reaction rate reaches as high as 1520 μmol/(g·h). Meanwhile, the Ti3C2/CdS composites keep high performance regardless of acidic, neutral and alkali conditions. The findings of this work highlight the vast opportunities for Ti3C2/CdS composites in the treatment of radioactive wastewater.

Abstract:Photocatalysis has been regarded as one of the effective methods of removing U(VI) from radioactive wastewater in recent years, due to the benefits of being environmentally friendly and efficient. In this work, a Pt cluster modified carbon nitride photocatalyst (Pt-CN) was synthesized in zinc chloride molten salt. The photocatalysts were characterized by XRD, IR, XPS, UV-vis, PL and EIS. The result demonstrated that the doping of Pt makes Pt-CN show higher electronic conductivity and better charge separation and migration, leading to an enhanced photocatalytic activity and faster kinetics compared with bulk graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4). Moreover, for uranium contained solution photocatalytic treatment, Pt-CN reached 94.6 % removal efficiency after 300 min of illumination with Xe light, and the kinetics improved by a factor of three compared to that of g-C3N4. Furthermore, the good reusability and photostability of the Pt-CN was confirmed as the removal efficiency remained at 83.7 % even after being recycled and reused five times. The photocatalytic reaction product was characterized as (UO2)O-22 H2O, and the mechanism was deduced as uranium species reacting with H2O2 generated by light illumination in an open system. This molten salt one-step synthesis and Pt doping method and the performance of U(VI) extraction in air showed a promising potential for the application of Pt-CN for U(VI) extraction and removal from water.
Efficient removal of U(VI) from aqueous solution by CNN/UiO-66 under simulated sunlight irradiation: the synergy of adsorption and photocatalysis

Abstract:The reduction of soluble U(VI) to insoluble and less toxic U(IV) by photocatalysis is an effective method to control uranium contamination. The graphitic carbon nitride nanosheet (CNN)/UiO-66 composites (CNNU) were prepared by thermal polymerization and solvothermal methods for the removal of U(VI). The morphology, crystal structure and optical properties of composites were analyzed by SEM, XRD, BET, UV-DRS, PL and EIS. The results showed the introduction of UiO-66 increased the specific surface of CNN from 9.07 m 2 /g to 46.24 m 2 /g, and effectively suppressed the recombination of photogenerated electrons and holes and improved the photocatalytic activity. The U(VI) removal capacity by adsorption and photocatalysis of CNNU was reached 779.47 mg/g, which significantly higher than that of adsorption (478.38 mg/g). The adsorption process was found to conform to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the Langmuir isothermal model. Meanwhile, U(VI) adsorbed on the CNNU was reduced to U(IV) via e − and ·O 2 − generated in the photocatalytic process. Therefore, this outstanding performance of CNNU in U(VI) removal is attributed to the synergistic effect of adsorption and photocatalytic reduction.

Abstract:Effective uranium (U) removal from U-containing wastewater is pivotal to the sustainable development of the nuclear power industry. Photocatalysis is a promising technique and more effort is needed for designing more efficient photocatalysts. Here, interfacial Schottky junction photocatalysts with different Ni/Cd molar ratios are synthesized. Under 90 min solar light irradiation, U(VI) removal efficiency from simulated U-containing wastewater is up to ∼99 %, and high recyclability after five cycles, 95.3 %, are obtained with Ni/Cd = 0.33 added for the synthesis. These are due to favorable Zeta potential and optical characteristics, narrow band gap and high stability of the composite. Besides, density functional theory (DFT) calculation illustrates the existence of interfacial Schottky junction between CdS and NiS, which may boost the spatial charge separation. Moreover, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) characterizations show that U(VI) is successfully reduced to uraninite. This work potentially helps opening a new avenue for cost-effective U removal from U-containing wastewater.

Abstract:Photoreduction of soluble U(VI) to insoluble U(IV) is an effective method for removing uranium from radioactive wastewater, but the available catalysts are very limited. In this study, a novel photocatalyst Gd(OH)3/Cd0.8Zn0.2S was synthesized for the photocatalytic reduction of U(VI). The optimal reduction of U(VI) in Gd(OH)3/Cd0.8Zn0.2S was up to 95.2%, which was 4.1 and 1.7 times that ofGd(OH)3 and Cd0.8Zn0.2S, respectively. Various methods characterized the composite, and the analysis showed that the outstanding photocatalytic property was mainly ascribed to its good photo-adsorption capacity and narrow band gap. Meanwhile, the heterojunction between Gd(OH)3 and Cd0.8Zn0.2S promoted the separation and transfer of the photogenerated carriers. After five cycles, the removal efficiencyremained above 90%, indicating thatthe composite had good structural stability and reusability. In addition, a possible mechanism for U(VI) photocatalytic reduction was proposed. This study is significant in designing potentially efficient photocatalysts to eliminate U(VI) contaminants.

Abstract:This study introduces NaGdF4:Yb,Tm@TiO2/Cu2(OH)2CO3 (UTCu), an innovative nanophotocatalyst designed to address global energy crises and water contamination issues. Our developed photocatalyst, NaGdF4:Yb,Tm@TiO2/0.5mol%Cu2(OH)2CO3 (UTCu0.5), demonstrated exceptional efficiency, degrading 96.3% of malachite green (MG) within 2 h under Xenon lamp irradiation. The photocatalytic degradation rate of UTCu0.5 surpassed those of UT, Cu2(OH)2CO3, and P25 (Commercial TiO2) by 3.3, 9, and 2.8 times, respectively. The process effectively mineralized MG into less harmful compounds, marking its potential for eco-friendly wastewater treatment. Furthermore, UTCu0.5 exhibited robust degradation capabilities across various organic dyes and maintained its efficacy in mixed dye systems. Detailed mechanistic analysis revealed that the ·OH and ·O2− radicals play pivotal roles in the degradation process, facilitated by the formation of heterojunctions that enhance carrier separation and photocatalytic performance. Theoretical studies supported the significance of S-scheme heterojunctions in boosting the photocatalytic activity of UTCu0.5. Additionally, the catalyst was effective in degrading organic pollutants in different water matrices under both Xenon lamp irradiation and direct sunlight. Remarkably, it achieved a 77.4% removal rate of NH4⁺-N in real municipal wastewater under natural sunlight, with a selective conversion rate of 95.3% to N2, underscoring its practical applicability in environmental remediation. This research not only progresses photocatalysis technology but also provides vital insights for enhancing natural condition wastewater treatment strategies.

Abstract:Removal of uranium from uranium-containing wastewater is of great significance for uranium contamination remediation and development of nuclear energy. In this paper, the g-C3N4/Sn3O4/Ni (CSN) electrode was fabricated and used as photoanode for photoelectrocatalytic reduction of U(VI) under visible LED light irradiation, and a photoelectrocatalytic approach was proposed to efficiently remove uranium from uranium-containing wastewater. The U(VI) was deposited as U(IV) at cathode and the removal rate of U(VI) reached 94.28 % at pH of 5.0 for photoelectrocatalytic approach, while the removal rates of U(VI) only amounted to 10.56 % and 36.65 % for the photocatalytic and electrochemical extraction approaches, respectively. Furthermore, the photoelectrocatalytic reduction mechanism for U(VI) is explored by XPS, EIS, PL, EPR and DFT calculations, which indicated that the excellent photoelectrocatalytic performance of CSN electrode for U(VI) is mainly because it enhanced visible light absorption, promoted separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs and decreased the band gap. This work provided a facile route for efficient removal of U(VI) from uranium-containing wastewater via photoelectrocatalytic method.

Abstract:The efficient removal of uranium from radioactive wastewater is of great significance for the ecological environment safety and sustainable development of nuclear energy. Herein, the carbon dots modified porous graphitic carbon nitride (CNCD) was fabricated and used for photoreduction of U(VI) under visible LED light irradiation. The removal rate of U(VI) by CNCD-2 could reach more than 95 % over a wide range of U(VI) concentration. In addition, the CNCD-2 showed excellent selectivity and recyclability for photoreduction of U(VI). Further mechanism studies showed that the high photocatalysis activity of CNCD-2 was attributed to the effective separation of photoinduced electron-hole pairs, strong visible light absorption capacity and narrow bandgap. The U(VI) was activated by both photoinduced e- and •O2– in the process of photoreduction, and then immobilized by transforming it to metastudtite ((UO2)O2·2H2O). These results indicate that the CNCD is a promising material for remediation of uranium-containing wastewater under visible light irradiation.

Abstract:The surface of graphitic carbon nitride (g-C 3 N 4 ) is decisive in its photocatalytic performance because the critical processes including pollutants adsorption, interfacial charge transfer, and redox reaction etc, readily take place on its surface. In this study, a novel surface functionalization strategy was developed to introduce hydroxyl groups on the surface of g-C 3 N 4 through a simple illumination modification in pure water. The specific surface area and morphology of g-C 3 N 4 did not show significant changes after light irradiation modification, but there were significant differences in the composition of surface functional groups, surface charge properties, and photocatalytic activities. A series of characterization results indicated that hydroxyl groups introduction on the surface of g-C 3 N 4 could significantly enhance surface electronegativity, accelerate photogenerated charge carriers separation and transfer, and increase O 2 •- radicals generation, thereby improving the highly selective adsorption and photocatalytic degradation performance of g-C 3 N 4 for cationic methylene blue (MB) wastewater treatment. This work provides an effective strategy for fabricating efficient g-C 3 N 4 photocatalysts for different kinds of organic wastewater treatment via simple surface modification.

Abstract:The development of visible-light-active photocatalysts with high performance has been regarded as a promising way to address environmental wastewater issues. In this work, a highly efficient g-C3N4/CdS/TiO2 ternary heterojunction photocatalyst with hollow structure has been fabricated using a step-by-step self-assembly strategy, which demonstrates excellent photocatalytic performance under visible light and removes various water-soluble organic pollutants effectively. The photocatalytic degradation efficiency of 20-g-C3N4/CdS/TiO2-10 against rhodamine B (RhB) is found to be 29.8 times higher than the pristine g-C3N4 within 90 minutes of visible light irradiation attributed to the active species of •O2- and h+. Liquid chromatography mass spectrometry results suggest that the degradation pathway of RhB involves main steps such as N-de-ethylation, chromophore cleavage, ring opening, and mineralization. A series of characterization analyses, combined with the observed enhanced photocatalytic performance, indicates that g-C3N4/CdS/TiO2 ternary heterojunction benefits from the rapid transport and separation of photogenerated carriers facilitated by the formation of heterointerface. Furthermore, the g-C3N4/CdS/TiO2 ternary heterojunction exhibits favorable stability, with 88.1% degradation efficiency after five cycles of degradation experiments. This work provides novel insights into the preparation and application of ternary heterojunctions with superior photocatalytic performance for eliminating organic pollutants from wastewater.

This material was characterized by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray energy spectrometer (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Solid-state UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectrometry (UV-Vis-DRS) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). The synthesized TiO2/g-C3N4 exhibited homogeneous morphology, in which TiO2 nanoparticles were uniformly distributed on the g-C3N4 nanosheets. Regarding its potential use as photocatalytic material in the treatment of mineral processing wastewater, 18% TiO2/g-C3N4 showed superior photodegradation performance than TiO2 and g-C3N4, to give 97.1% degradation rate under 100 min of simulated light irradiation. The experimental results showed that the successful incorporation of TiO2 on g-C3N4 nanosheets enhanced the spectral response range of TiO2/g-C3N4, and the photocatalytic activity was improved. In view of that, it can be considered that this kind of photocatalytic material has a good prospect in the treatment of mineral processing wastewater, which would have clearly environmental relevance.

Abstract:Wastewater remediation and pollutants removal, such as organic pollutants and heavy metals, have become increasingly important for the protection of environment. Numerous technologies, such as adsorption, membrane separation and photocatalysis, have been proposed to solve this problem. However, these methods also have some disadvantages, such as the inability to mineralize the pollutants during the adsorption process and the serious membrane fouling. Therefore, g-C3N4 as a photocatalyst has been widely used to remove pollutants from wastewater due to graphitic like structure, adjustable morphology, low cost, facile preparation and high chemical stability. However, the pristine g-C3N4 suffers from issues such as small specific surface area, low utilization of visible light and serious photogenerated carrier recombination. Hence, various modification strategies, such as doping, defects, morphology control, metal deposition and heterojunction construction, have been developed to improve its photocatalytic activity. In this review, the synthesis and modification techniques of novel g-C3N4 materials were systematically introduced. Their application and related mechanisms in wastewater remediation and pollutant removal were discussed. Their efficiency, limitations and advantages were also compared and discussed. Furthermore, the promising perspectives and the potential directions of g-C3N4-based materials in environmental applications were put forward and discussed. In the future, materials modifications through supramolecular self-assembly method and S-scheme heterojunction structure still need to be further explored. And it is of great significance for industrial applications to design new processes that are conducive to material recovery and simultaneous treatment of multiple pollutants.

In Situ Synthesis of Ultrafine TiO2 Nanoparticles Modified G-C3n4 Heterojunction Photocatalyst with Enhanced Photocatalytic Activity

Abstract:To improve the redox performance and light absorption property, the 2D/0D g-C3N4/TiO2 heterojunction photocatalyst were successfully fabricated by co-annealing process based on melamine powder and ultrafine TiO2 nanoparticles (about 9.87 nm) obtained from electrochemical etching technology. The surface micromorphology, crystal structure, basic element composition, chemical structure, specific surface and optical performance were analyzed by SEM-EDS, TEM, HR-TEM, XRD, XPS, FTIR and Ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectra (UV-vis DRS). The photocatalytic performance of g-C3N4/TiO2 photocatalyst was assessed by the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride (TC) under simulated sunlight irradiation. The results showed that the obtained TiO2 powder had extremely smaller particle size and higher photocatalytic activity than commercial P25. The coupling of 0D TiO2 nanoparticles and 2D g-C3N4 nanosheet further promoted the visible light absorption performance of TiO2. The unique g-C3N4/TiO2 heterojunction photocatalyst exhibited remarkable photocatalytic performance for the degradation of TC, whose degradation rate could reach to 99.40% under 120 min irradiation. The kinetic constant of the g-C3N4/TiO2 photocatalyst was 1.48 times of that of TiO2. The ESP results confirmed center dot OH and center dot O-2(-) radicals produced in the photocatalytic process. This work could provide an effective reference for the fabrication of ultrafine TiO2 powder and binary heterojunction photocatalyst with excellent photocatalytic activity for organic pollutants degradation in water purification.
Efficient pollutant removal using tetrahydrofuran functionalized carbon nitride nanosheets with enhanced photocatalytic performance

Abstract:Photocatalysis offers a green and promising strategy for light-driven pollutant degradation to address water pollution. Yet, challenges in conversion efficiency and cost-efficiency propel the search for effective metal-free photocatalysts. Here, we employ a ball milling technique using organic solvent molecules to enhance the exfoliation of g-C 3 N 4 nanosheets. Incorporating tetrahydrofuran, with its distinctive five-membered monooxygenase ring structure, endows exfoliated CN nanosheets (TCN) with remarkable electron-donating capabilities, expanding specific surface area and active sites, essential for intricate photocatalytic reactions. Comparative assessments unequivocally establish TCN's superiority, revealing a remarkable 3.6-fold enhancement in RhB dye degradation and a remarkable 99.7 % removal efficiency. TCN demonstrates rapid, complete reduction of heavy metal ions (Cr 6+ ) under natural sunlight within 10 min and exhibits a significant 2.3-fold antibiotic degradation enhancement over pristine CN. This pioneering work unveils the mechanisms behind TCN's superior photocatalytic performance, offering insights into designing advanced photocatalysts for crucial water purification applications.

Abstract:: Broad application of nuclear energy has resulted in the release of radionuclides such as uranium [U(VI)], into the environment, and its potential toxic and irreversible effects on the environment are among the paramount issues in nuclear energy use. Graphite carbon nitride (g-C 3 N 4 ) is a non-metallic material with a triazine structure. In recent years, the reduction of U(VI) to insoluble U(IV) by g-C 3 N 4 photocatalysis has become a major research focus in the area of radioactive pollutants. In this work, a metal-organic framework (MOF) material containing cobalt metal was used as a self-sacrificial template. Through simple thermal copolymerization, the Co-N x coordination was successfully incorporated into g-C 3 N 4 to synthesize the CoN x /g-C 3 N 4 photocatalyst. The effects of the morphology, structure, and photoelectric properties of CoN x /g-C 3 N 4 on the photocatalytic reduction of U(VI) were investigated using macroscopic batch experiments. The results showed that the introduction of Co effectively broadened the absorption range of g-C 3 N 4 to visible light, inhibited recombination of the photogenerated electrons and holes, and facilitated the reduction of U(VI). Under irradia-tion in visible light for 45 min, pH=5 and solid-liquid ratio of 1.0 g/L, the photocatalytic reduction of a standard 50 mg/L U(VI) solution reached 100% by CoN x /g-C 3 N 4 （ w （ Co-MOFs ） : W （ g-C 3 N 4 ） =1:1 ） . Furthermore, the photocatalytic mechanism of CoN x /g-C 3 N 4 was investigated through capture experiments. In summary, the CoN x /g-C 3 N 4 composite ex-hibits excellent optical performance, has simple operation, is eco-friendly, and has a significant photocatalytic effect on U(VI) in radioactive wastewater. This work also provides design ideas and a technical reference for applying g-C 3 N 4 to treating radioactive wastewater.
