Abstract:Blood stasis and phlegm stagnancy were the important pathogenic factor of VD.Stagnant blood obstructed brain and phlegm covered the upper orifices were important pathological component elements in VD,and the marrow spoiled by toxin which is resulted from prolong of blood stasis and phlegm stagnation were the focus pathogenic in the development of VD.Therefore,the author suggested protecting brain by clear toxin,active blood circulation and resolve phlegm which were considered as effective methods be the basic principle treatment of VD.
