Abstract:Probe thinking is the structure that emerges from the interaction between the student and what he encounters, rather than what he is taught, and thinking that is focused on posing questions and coming up with solutions, the spark that keeps a learner interested. Therefore, the present study was an attempt to investigate the possible effect of probe thinking strategy on acquisition of some basic offensive skills in handball. A control group and an experimental group were utilized in a pre-post-test design. Following the pre-test, the experimental group received the treatment whereas the control group did not. For the analysis, 20 learners from Cihan University-Erbil, Iraq, were taken into consideration. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used in the statistical analysis (i.e., Independent samples t-test) in terms of how the two groups performed on the pre- and post-tests. The results revealed that the use of probe questions strategy is effective for the Sports Sciences students to get better results regarding pass-test, dribble-test, and shot-test. The findings of the present study can benefit all the educators and the students as well to have a better performance in practical courses. At the same time, these results can be double checked for the other sports so that they can be generalized to all the branches of Sports Sciences.

Abstract:The research aims to know The Effect Of scaffolding strategy and (SWOM) strategy on achievement of teaching methods and Higher Order Thinking among students of the Faculty of Education , the researcher used the experimental design of the two experimental groups and the control group and with post test, researcher group (b) represent the experimental group taught according the scaffolding, and Division (a) to represent the second experimental group which studied according (SWOM) strategy and Division (c ) to represent the control group taught in the traditional way, the number of students (105) students of (35) male and female students in each division. The reward research groups in the variables: age, intelligence and, Higher Order Thinking,. The researcher were verified psychometric characteristics of the instruments, and used, Analysis of variance (ANOVA ) used for data processing , the results showed the superiority of the second experimental group who has studied the according (SWOM) strategy on achievement and Higher Order Thinking among third grade students of Faculty of Education.

Abstract:This research-aims to investigate (the effectiveness of teaching SWOM strategy in achievement and second-graders intermediate students retention in the sciences subject) The experimental design (with-partial-control) was chosen for two equivalent groups, experimental and control, the sample was randomly selected-from-students (Hittin intermediate school( for girls in Thi-Qar Governorate), the groups were equivalent in-variables (Age calculated in months – female students’ achievement in-science for the first-grade (previous-year) –previous information testin science- subject – intelligence test (Raven), behavioral objectives in cognitive domain were set reached (100) behavioral objectives, the necessary teaching plans were prepared for two research. The research tools, the researcher prepared a test comprises (40) MC items with four alternatives. Validity, reliability, discrimination-coefficient, difficulty-and-alternatives effectiveness were calculated. At the end of second semester (2018-2019),the experiment was applied. After the experiment was completed, the achievement test was applied on two research groups. Then, the same achievement test was applied again after a two weeks period-from first application to check information retention, and for processing statistical data, the statistical methods were used (t-test for two independent samples, difficulty-equations, items-discrimination, wrong alternatives-effectiveness and Pearson-correlation-equation), the-research was reached the results: There is a statistical significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between second grade students means scores who study science subject according-to the SWOM strategy and the second-grade students mean-scores who study the-same subject by traditional method in achievement and retention test in favor of the experimental group, depend on the results, several conclusions were formulated, conclusions and recommendations-were reached, to complete th- research, several studies-were proposed.

Abstract:The current study which is an extract from a PhD dissertation adopted a mixed- method, experimental-design to find out the effect of PDEODE and SWOM strategies in developing tenth- grade literary students’ historical thinking skills. The sample of the study consists of sixty tenth grade students from the literary branch at Tafan Preparatory School for Girls. After equalizing them, they are divided in this way: Group A regarded as the first experimental group taught by PDEODE strategy, Group B as the control group taught conventionally and group C taught by SWOM strategy as the second experimental group. For each of these groups, a twenty- four daily teaching plan was used and a 30- item test was prepared by the researcher to know the effect of these strategies in developing historical thinking skills. After analyzing the data through the statistical method ONE- WAY ANNOVA, it was displayed that there are statistically significant differences among the groups in a way the first experimental group is better than the second experimental and control groups. It was also concluded that PDEODE and SWOM as two new teaching strategies can provide appropriate platform for improving teaching and learning processes as they focus on students’ intellectual, psychological and personal dimensions, making them the center of the process which enables them to apply their knowledge in different contexts.

Abstract:The aim of the research is to : To prepare an educational program according to the model (POE) (predict - note - interpret) associated with different educational methods and to reveal its effect on teaching some basic skills of volleyball to middle school students The researchers took the experimental approach as a way to solve their problem, The sample was identified as (32) students representing the third intermediate grade in the (Qaraqush) intermediate school for boys for the academic year (2019-2020) distributed into two academic divisions (A and B), equivalent to (age, height, weight, and physical fitness components). And for each group (16) students, and by the method of voting, Division (B) was chosen to become the experimental group, which was studied according to the (POE) model, and Division (A) became a control group which took the usual method by the teacher in teaching it After that, the search experiment was applied and lasted for six weeks, with two educational units per week for each group. To process and analyze the data, the statistical system (SPSS) was used, and the most important conclusion of the study is: The use of the model (predict, note, interpret POE) associated with various educational methods left an evident effect in teaching some basic volleyball skills to middle school students. The phases of implementing the model experiment on the experimental group also contributed to stimulating students' creative self-capabilities in forecasting, observing and interpreting the results that favored their progress over the control group. The researchers recommended the necessity of paying attention to student-centered teaching methods by educating teachers about their models and strategies, as they have an impact on improving students' knowledge and skills. And more research is being used to model (predict, note, interpret POE) for different academic stages and multiple academic subjects.

Abstract:The aim of the research is to prepare a measure of cognitive failure in volleyball for students, as well as to identify the effect of the learning strategy under the guidance of triple peers in reducing cognitive failure and learning the skills of preparation and receiving transmissions for volleyball for students. Of the students of the second stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Babylon for the academic year (2021-2022), The research sample was divided into two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, with (15) students per group. and receiving volleyball transmissions), after which the vocabulary of the learning strategy was implemented under the guidance of the triple peers on the experimental group for a period of (5) weeks, With a number of (2) two units per week, while the time of the educational unit was (90) minutes, and after the completion of the period of implementation, the post tests were conducted for all the research variables, and in light of the results that the data were processed statistically, the two researchers reached several conclusions, the most important of which was, The triple peer-guided learning strategy has an effective role in reducing cognitive failure and learning and preparing and receiving transmission skills for students, in addition to the superiority of the experimental group that used the triple peer-guided learning strategy over the control group that learned with the adopted curriculum, In light of these conclusions, the researchers recommended the necessity of adopting a learning strategy with the guidance of the tripartite peers in the educational units of volleyball, as well as emphasizing that volleyball teachers be informed of modern strategies in learning the skills of this game, especially the skills of preparation and transmission reception.

Teaching Method in Learning Some of the Basic Skills of Football Game

Abstract:The aim of this research is to explain the effect of using command, co-operative, exchangeable and individual teaching methods in learning some of the basic skills of football game and the comparison among the effects of using these teaching methods. The experimental method is used for its suitability with the nature of the present research. The sample of the research consisted of 80 first year students enrolled at University of Mosul, Teachers Training College, being distributed into four groups of which each one amounts to 20 students. The equivalence among them has been done according to the variables of age, height and weight in some motor skills in football game. The first experimental group used the individual method, whereas the second experimental group used the exchangeable method, the third experimental group used the co-operative method, and finally, the fourth group used the command method. The implementation of the suggested teaching program lasted for ten weeks, one teaching unit for each week which lasted for (90) minutes. The researchers used the statistical tools. The researchers concluded the following: - They proved the validity of using the individual teaching method in the development of all the basic skills of football game which are under discussion . - The use of both exchangeable and co-operative methods demonstrated development in the skill of football game . The researchers present a number of recommendations : - The trial of using the individual method in teaching which is regarded as the best style of teaching suggested in the study according to the findings of the present research. - The use of other teaching methods (changeable and co-operative styles) according to the findings of the present research compared with the command style.

Abstract:Purpose: The present study investigates the effect of two different teaching methods, which are represented in the collective competitive method and the station method in teaching some basic football skills to students of faculty of physical education and sports sciences . Material: Data were collected with 40 students (STs). the research sample was divided randomly into two groups of (20) students for each group, where the first group applied the competitive method, and the second applied the stations method. A quantitative study used based on tests and measurements consisting to identifying basic skills in football. Results: Students shared several two experimental groups approach. However, significant differences emerged in developing some basic football skills. The competitive method made a remarkable development in all basic skills. However, the latest stations style marked development in all basic skills. In addition, data are provided indicating that the competitive style surpassed the stations method in the post tests in all basic skills. Conclusions: This study will encourage teachers to use two styles (competitive style and station style) to develop the basic skills of football, organize the units in such a way that they achieve the principle of continuity through succession between the parts of the skill to teach.

The researchers concluded: The inverse learning strategy has an important and effective role in learning the female students' sending and receiving skills in volleyball. Abstract:The study seeks to prepare an educational curriculum by employing the mixing strategies of mental and knowledge maps and learning about its effect on learning the performance of the skill of overwhelming hitting with volleyball and its accuracy among fifth-graders students. The two researchers assumptions the experimental approach by designing the experimental groups and controlling (51) students who were deliberately selected at a rate of (55.914%) from Al-Mustansiriya prep in Salah Uddin Governorate for the academic year (2019-2020). Abstract:The research is significant because it aims to improve the speed of motor response and visual tracking through targeted exercises using the visual stimuli device that the two researchers created as part of the training program for the sample. This program also supports the individual defensive movements of the players, which are exemplified by the skills of cutting and dispersing the ball and other defensive movements for young handball players. Regarding the research issue, the researchers observed a deficiency in the players' defensive performance, which manifests as slow movement and reaction to the ball's movement. This deficiency could be attributed to a lack of interest in handball player training programs as well as a weakness in visual abilities and motor response speed to the attacker's and the ball's movement. Preparing unique workouts with visual stimuli to enhance young handball players' motor reaction speed, visual tracking abilities, ball-cutting and ball-dispersing capabilities, and defensive maneuvers is one of the research's goals. The research population was purposefully selected and sampled; specifically, the goalkeepers, who numbered two, were omitted, and the youth players of the Diyala Handball Club for the 2022–2023 sports season, numbered eighteen. As a result, the sample size increased to sixteen participants, who were split into eight players, representing the experimental group, and eight players, representing the control group, at random (even and odd numbers). After conducting an exploratory experiment on two handball players, the researchers came to the conclusion that the experimental study sample's development of visual tracking and motor reaction speed was positively impacted by workouts on the visual stimulus device. The researchers suggest that in order to improve handball players' efficiency, it is imperative to engage in visual stimulus workouts that enhance skill performance and physical and visual capacities.

Abstract:The problem of the research was through the researchers’ observation and follow-up of the league matches and developments in the game of volleyball and their follow-up to the training processes of youth teams. I found that most of the coaches put in their training curricula exercises to develop physical, motor and skill abilities in general and for all players without focusing on the offensive playing positions of the players to resolve the matches Also, it does not take into account the interdependence between physical, motor and skill abilities in the exercises and does not give enough space in their training curricula. The members of each group of (15) students. The study found that the members of the experimental group had a high level compared to the control group in the test of basketball skills under study. As well as the need to take advantage of the proposed educational units that contain the methods used in research for their positive impact in developing the level of education of some basic skills basketball.

Abstract:Several cognitive strategies, methods, methods, and teaching aids have emerged that help the teacher achieve the goal they want. Among these learning methods are mind maps, which are one of the means that contribute to stabilizing the information of the learner, especially the game of volleyball, which includes many basic skills. The basic skills of volleyball, as the study aims to identify the effect of using the bubble mental map in learning some basic skills of volleyball for students, and also included two assumptions, namely 1- There are no statistically significant differences between the pre and post tests of the experimental and the control groups in some basic skills of female students volleyball 2- There are no statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the post test in some basic skills of female students volleyball ,Consequently, the researcher concluded that there is a clear effect of the bullous mental map used during the lesson, through the results obtained by the researcher from the difference between the results of the tribal and posttest tests on the students, and therefore the study recommends the need to use the mental map during the educational process because of the educational effect of the lesson.

Abstract:The study is valuable because it will help bring about the greatest potential proficiency in the ability of the basic assault via the development of educational competition activities. Young athletes from specialized schools made up the sample, and they were split evenly (10) per group (experimental/control) and (24) per group (educational/control) for the purposes of this study. Only (35) days of the primary training unit time were available for the researcher to work with the experimental group. Comparing pre and post-test scores for the experimental and control groups was the focus of the third chapter, which also included a presentation, analysis, and discussion of the data collected by researchers using the planned tests. Young volleyball players' motor behavior and precision in their basic attack skills were greatly aided by competitive activities and purpose-built tools. The study's authors urged the adoption of educational competitive activities and tools to help young players hone their motor behavior and improve the precision of their basic assault in volleyball.

The goal of this activity is to examine topics which are explored during the semester through games that are created by students, as well as to promote holistic development and diversity through the investigation of a wide range of global cultures. Further, the activity seeks to enhance the internationalization of the pedagogic model that guides our collective educational philosophy. An empirical method of research is adopted in the current study which is based on observing students during an activity. Since the activity enhances students’ creativity for a better contextualization of the country to be presented. It replaces the traditional way of testing (the written tests) and gives the students the opportunity to see the level of the acquired learning in an interactive and fun context

Abstract:The speed of skills has become linked to modern methods of individual and group play, and each of them has begun to serve the other tactically. Through the follow-up of the researchers, they noticed that there is a significant weakness in the speed of performance and slowness in mental preparation, which plays a major role in understanding mental readiness, which is linked to the speed of making decisions during the game, as well as the weakness of the physical speed of the female players, which in turn has an impact on the skill performance of the players of the Iraqi clubs, which are the main supporter of the national team. The study aimed to identify the effect of interactive speed training on the performance of some skills among female under-20 football players for the 2022-2023 sports season in the closed hall of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the capital, Baghdad. The experimental method was used in a controlled manner, two equal groups, experimental and control, with a pre- and post-test on the research sample of Al-Zawraa Club players for the 2023 sports season, which numbered 12 players. They were divided by lottery into two groups, with 6 players in each group, and verification of the normal distribution of the research sample was carried out. After conducting the pre-test and then applying the interactive speed exercises and the post-test, the researchers concluded: 1- Interactive speed exercises led to developing the speed of performing dribbling, handling and scoring skills within one performance in women’s futsal. 2- Using interactive speed exercises led to excitement, a spirit of competition, and fast performance, and this achieves one of the sustainable development goals of the United Nations in Iraq which is (Quality Education). Therefore, it is recommended to use speed exercises in all their forms, which affect the physical aspect and thus affect the endurance of skill performance in women’s futsal. 3- Providing competitive and recreational exercises in order to develop the physical and skill aspects of women’s futsal
