The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibilities of e-commerce in agriculture, particularly as it relates to smallholder farmers in developing nations. This study tries to identify the major advantages, difficulties, and success factors related to the adoption of e-commerce in agriculture by reading the literature and examining case studies. The results of this study should add to the expanding body of information about the use of e-commerce in agriculture and offer guidance to scholars, practitioners, and policymakers.
